- This is the Aprilia RS660. The first brand-new bike from Aprilia in some years. The engine is derived from the RSV1100 unit, and the cool design it's so Italian that you'll love it at the first sight. Although it's winter outside, we were eager to take it out for a spin, so here's our first ride with the 2021 Aprilia RS660.

Great video as always. I look forward to see tuono 660. Mt 07, trident 660, cb 650 will have a new rival. It is good to see manufacturers are giving importance to affordable fun bikes again. I am fed up seeing high spec bikes with high price tags.

Great bike but currently it seems to be more pre-production model than finished product. My RS660 is stuck for 7 weeks at the shop and they cannot fix the exhaust valve issue. And this is not an isolated case. There are plenty of issues affecting these bikes now. So if you are ready to speed 10.500 EUR and then wait 1-2 months for your bike to get fixed... go for it! It runs great, when it runs. Otherwise buy Honda or wait another year before getting 660.
That's my only concern this bike I have a Honda cbr650r which for me my favorite part about it is the reputation reliability of Honda parts not to mention that inline 4 cylinder engine

@@shaneziegler2555 Greetings! i did not get a Aprilia because i could not find what i wanted. I got a Yamaha YZF-R3 to rip around mountains. Hopefully next year i can find the Aprilia RS 660 Stars and Stripes livery that i wanted. Unless i do a Ducati, or Yamaha R1. Maybe i can figure it out lol.

Been looking around for options. Currently on my first bike MT125 and want to move up but have found my love once again for sports bikes after a brief affair with nakeds. This I think is the ideal choice and those looks!! Stunning machine!
It’s great to see cruise control on a mid-size bike.
CC should come standard on all bikes. That's extremely essential with all the speed cameras around.
Nice bike, hopefully the other variations of the platform will be as cool. Still I have my doubts about reliability and dealership support

The dealership issues haven't changed at all since then.

Really cool bike and best colour for me. Shame it will age pretty badly and really fast like any sharp angled design.
I am 6 foot 5 inches, do you think I could ride the motorcycle comfortably or is the riding position too crampy then? :)

Yes, definitely 😁
It's a very docile yet powerful all-round bike. It has all the rider aids you need as a beginner. Cornering light...etc And when you are more experienced, you bring it to race track.

Hey Man😃! I think that the rear break makes strange noises in low speed, in city riding. Didn,t enjoy that. and the mirrors after 100kmh vibrate too much, if you want to see who is coming behind... you cant see surely what is it . Didnt you notest this minor inconveniences? I ride a Yamaha XSR Abarth Edition, and also think that the Bridgestone Battlax S22 tyres feel more grip and softer filtering the pavement irregularities than the Pirelli Corsa II that equip the RS 660, don’t you agree? Thank you. There are some companies and events. Ride in Romania used to be one of them but now, with the pandemic, we're waiting for the next year's calendar.

The bike seems perfect to me, except one problem. Its exhaust has 96dB which makes it illegal in the region of Tirol (max limit was set to 95dB this year). As a bavarian resident, it is a real deal breaker for me...

169kg dry, 183kg wet. Not 200, not 190.
My RS 660 is in reality 170kg with 1/3 tank contents on the scales 👍👌
