NFS 2015 really is a game that fully embodies the older titles. From how they made the cinematics, to the map design, the car selection. It's a nice throwback.
the oldest weren't about tuner culture. what you say are "older" titles was basically early 2000's. Need for speed isnt a tuner's wet dream at its core. Deep down, I recognize what nfs truly is about. Driving cars, way faster than the speed limit. Vehicles that are a man's dream. exotics, supercars, raw muscle and horsepower. it's open cab racing on the ultimate road trip. I like most wanted 05 as much as the next guy, but hot pursuit 2010 is the purest form of need for speed imaginable. And I want to see the series bring back that type of racing again. As impossible as it is now that everyone demands more tuner and ricer styling. We've got enough city street racing games. I miss the days of going onto Seacrest county, listening to Weezer, 30 Seconds to Mars, Pendulum and Cinema. The essence of racing. Hopefully we can pick that back up one day if criterion gets to make a game that's burnout meets hp 2010. And a hybrid soundtrack of edm, the 2010's era of dubstep, punk rock, and perhaps some vaporwave.
@Carl Gunderson honestly I dont know if that's exact the right term. But personally I am starting to get tired of the focus on tuner's and the like. Praying we get a classic styled nfs game akin to the old days, and the original hot pursuit from the 90's
@@zynet_eseled Hit it on the mark, I didn't even play a NFS game till MW2012 and outside that Burnout was my childhood but even I know the oldest NFS games, and they're were a lot before Underground being stage based arcade racers with no customization at all since the early 90's. Hell, give it a theming of the ultimate road trip, with subwoofers, rock, metal, edm, rap and perhaps some ambient, and I'm down. Also, MW2012'S cutscene philosophy. Just, YES. As much shit as that game gets, those cutscenes were god tier. And I want more of THAT. Mindfucks and abstract and what the even. That's my dream. Also headline it with some 2008 era punk rock, remixed by someone like Vastive. I'll be crying with glee. Yes it's still street racing. But it isnt always about urban cities with it. 2015 had the best drift physics of all the few modern NFS games. Payback, Heat and Unbound are just unrealistic AF, since it's got barely any proper counter steering like 2015.
This was honestly the best game since Carbon. Other than heat, it’s definitely one of favorites from the new generation. To be honest I only like 2015 and Heat. The others just aren’t what I’m looking for in a NFS game. I wish they would remaster Carbon thooooo

Love me some 2015, this is the NFS that i keep coming back to, though i admit it's flawed. I actually like that the cars dont handle like bulldozers and i like the sense of progression plus the fact that you can just reset the story but keep your wraps, something that isnt possible with Payback and Heat.
NFS 2015 is my Underground 3 and always will be (sorry Theo, Carbon will never come close). The day online support for this game ends will be a huge loss for fans like me. Unless, of course, they make it playable offline
The thing I remember about NFS 2015 is that the characters were all relatable, all likable, to some degree. They're still caricatures and avatars of different cliques of car culture, but no one is trying way too hard to be 'Hard' - they genuinely love the cars, and the community, no one leaves you wondering 'how would this person have any breathing Kin and Kind at all in real life?'. I would like to see an NFS where using the Most Wanted E46 M3 GTR has some affect on the characters and the game - they panic at the sight of it, saying "Where did you get that!? Get that car out of here *yesterday*!" and then if you play with the car regardless of their reaction, you get a featherweight race car to play with but start any police chase with significantly higher Heat rating (or something).
*Am i the only one who don't find the cutscenes THAT cringy? They're not perfect but the characters of 2015 really seem to be people you'd wanna be friends with. They're not just all douchebags trying to push you down, they're just friends that want to build and race cars. You know, kinda like us in the real world.*

He was in "Top Boy" 😲
This game was almost perfect. All they needed to add was a daytime cycle to the game
It was the lack of day that made me love it more. There were parts of the map that were early morning though.
Daytime cycle wouldn't make any sense, street racing is only done at night.
It was far from perfect. Shitty handling, meh map, and the worst cops ever.
@@Sh4dowgale the map and cops are whatever, but I dunno what to tell you about the handling because I did not have a problem handling the cars. So it sounds like user error to me.
Oh how much I love 2015 , i enjoy it more then payback expect the drift train event, for the rest such an enjoyable and fun game to play
2015 had the best drift physics of all the few modern NFS games. Payback, Heat and Unbound are just unrealistic AF, since it's got barely any proper counter steering like 2015.
One thing I really wanted was to see Amy"s S15 finished
The fact, that this game is 7 years old ... yikes, but still a decent game, ngl.
NfS 2015: when the graphics look better than real life
4:58, No, Carbon was a sequel to MW05
This was honestly the best game since Carbon. Other than heat, it’s definitely one of favorites from the new generation. To be honest I only like 2015 and Heat. The others just aren’t what I’m looking for in a NFS game. I wish they would remaster Carbon thooooo
Yes sir! 100%
This game is basically 7 years old, let that sink in. Time flies
how good is NFS 2015?? it was soo good that it still my youtube banner image. that game is just beautiful, no dry empty looking like payback and no 200% clarity effect like heat.
Love me some 2015, this is the NFS that i keep coming back to, though i admit it's flawed. I actually like that the cars dont handle like bulldozers and i like the sense of progression plus the fact that you can just reset the story but keep your wraps, something that isnt possible with Payback and Heat.
2:22 Literally the best thing that was implemented in the 2006 NFS: Most Wanted and done again with much newer technology in the 2015 NFS.
Every NFS game have a special place in our life's...hope unbound don't disappoint
2015 ong had the funniest irl cut scenes since mw 2006
Personally NFS 2015 drifting is my favorite out of all
4:59 To the point the game was internally being called that, as I saw in TCRF I think.
3:20 R.I.P Ken Block 😭
It also spun me out that the actress from Andor & Game of Thrones - Faye Marsay - is in it
I started the video and immediately realized it, she came a long way since then i guess 😅😅
@@Kiwiknecht She must’ve been in GoT at the same time as doing Rivals if not literally just before hand when we saw the hall of many faces.
Still my all time favorite from the ghost generation, that’ll never change.
NFS 2015 is my Underground 3 and always will be (sorry Theo, Carbon will never come close). The day online support for this game ends will be a huge loss for fans like me. Unless, of course, they make it playable offline
Great NFS video Theo!
@11:48 RIP Theo crashed
Still holds up, being 7 Years old 🙏🏽
The last NFS game where their friendship with Toyota has ended.
Just the game SHOULD have "OFFLINE PATCH" in it, of course I'll grab my money for it.
U still remember me my man theo
*Am i the only one who don't find the cutscenes THAT cringy? They're not perfect but the characters of 2015 really seem to be people you'd wanna be friends with. They're not just all douchebags trying to push you down, they're just friends that want to build and race cars. You know, kinda like us in the real world.*
