Unbounds multiplayer is better. With heat even the hardest difficulty is not hard enough. And the online is deserted (india). With Unbound finding races and hot pursuits with other people is far easier and more fun. Its way more fun racing against real people
no it isnt. you literally cant even progress if you want to play with friends without pvping nonstop. no offense but i dont wanna use my garbage cars straight to pvp. in other racing games, or i should say every racing game ever you can progress solo against cpu racers and then play pvp. in unbound its pvp or nothing else.

@@Elysiabikha I don’t want it to be live service, god no. I just wish it had more. I completed the campaign and got the best gear quite quickly then I was kinda left stuck wondering what do I do next. I still prefer it to unbound but it felt like ea just left the game quite quickly and moved on
FIVE, YEARS?! Daaaamn. I still remember the very moment of release. Pressing the download button. Starting it. Trying to choose Papi's Camaro. I wish this game received a next gen 4K 60FPS update.
I feel like out of all the newer NFS games Heat felt the most like a NFS game, just with the overall vibe and focus on the police mechanics. So I'd say its probably the best out of the newer batch of games (unless you include 2015 which I'm not sure if you can even consider new anymore).
and 2015 being always online doesn't help it's shelf value either, meaning that game will sooner or later get The Crew 1'd out of existence unlike anything from Payback onwards (this including Heat as well)
@@Crooked-60^this, all you said, is exactly why I always prefer single player games 10 times out of 10, and preferably the ones that needs no internet connection to even get past the starting screen because I still get to play either the games I love or underrated gems I missed out from that era and get the same enjoyment out of them like it's brand new whenever I wanted, wherever I wanted
It will always be a more solid need for speed than unbound, no split progression, better cops, better setting etc. Still come back to it almost every month.
The main story to heat should've been longer. There was so much left to the story they left hanging. Heat is on the same level of Underground 2 and Most Wanted. I still play it to this day.
EASILY Top 3 NFS. The Day/Night system was revolutionary for the franchise & even the endgame had a lot more than people gave it credit for; you didn’t have Elite or Ultimate parts when you finished the story so you had to keep playing for High Heat events, Max REP & EVERYBODY wanted to see the potential of every single car in the game…full lobbies to this day & a decent police system…oh, and the ability to take your single-player progress to the multiplayer as it was a completely united experience. Top 3. Undeniable. 🐐
NFS should introduce some choices for your character to pick you can make them a rouge racer, normal racer, or straight up an undercover cop in order to bust the big guy
For me personally I’d say it’s one of the best. Had a blast playing this during Thanksgiving break back when I was still in high school. Played a lot by myself and with the homies. Made a lot of memories in general. Overall, this was one of the most fun games I’ve ever played and one of the last few good games before covid.
Payback wasn't even bad, though. The weird progression and customization lockouts were the biggest gripe for me. Story wasnt bad, but wasn't something to write home about. What I think it had over heat and unbound is the offroad races, drag races, dynamic takedown cams, roaming ai, drifting, 24-hour day/night cycle. The map wasn't as flashy, but the races were a proper mix of high-speed straights and technical turns. I dont think payback deserves the hate it still receives today. To be honest, I feel like most wanted gets too much glazing, with lazy customization, a piss brown filter that was hard on the eyes, and also being limited to daytime. The car selection was also very scarce, and there was little variety to stand out from other cars. Same thing with underground 2. Had all the customization, but there was no risk of being busted, and the missing cop elements just took away what made the nfs series stand out. To be fair, they had limited tech, but I couldn't stick with underground 2 for the end game. I played most wanted more after I beat it, but compared to the newer games, it shows its age and flaws clearly. I feel like carbon was better at capturing the culture during the time, also innovating with autosculpt to customization, actual crews with different skills, territorial control, canyon events, and one of the best maps of the entire franchise. Even the newer games can't capture the different leagues/crews like carbon. Heat tends to mention the league and crews, but it never felt like we were with a crew. It still felt like we were grinding solo always. Sorry for the long message. What I'm saying is that none of the nfs games were perfect, and alot of our favorite nfs games did something better or worse than the other games. bring us to current standings, heat is by far the best in the series, with unbound having a better endgame and multiplayer lobbies, despite its cheesy story. To be fair, though, I never really played nfs for the stories, and I only like mw, carbon, and heats stories because they had the level of "oh shit" to them. Ghost games deserve to make the next nfs and its story. I need something as good as heat again, but longer and more supported years after too
Biggest issue with Heat, lack of races. Once you’ve raced a track twice, it gets very repetitive & boring. TC Motorfest have addressed this in an excellent manner, bucket fulls of different tracks in TCM with highly varied styles eg Rally & Rally Raid, Motocross as well as your expected race & drift events. NFS Heat should have had updates & far more race events. The customisation that NFS is known for is great, but had to stop playing due to aforementioned issues.
5 years have been, but i started NFS Heat in december last year and still playing it. One of my favourite NFS games ever played, after Payback and Most Wanted (2012)
This is still one of the best NFS, hell, I even remember their promotion on an app so that they can make a trailer out of the cars that we customized, the bad part of that is that THEY picked the car, not the car we wanted to get featured.
Been playing payback at a friend's house, and the card upgrading finally got to me lol. Had to go buy heat again, good thing it was on sale for 3 bucks lmao.
Hey Pantz, i have recently started again and doing it with european cars only and only own 1 of each car brand, love this game, it still holds itself against all the new games.
If it had super builds like payback or some other unique customization (which it has but not much) and body kits, I think by far it would be the best... still love it
Just started playing this game for the first time ever. I was playing NFS Payback but after reading some reviews about this game being better I just had to buy it. I am really enjoying this game and I would definitely not be going back to NFS Payback. Im glad people still play this 5 year old game.
Rice: Reheating is fine. You have to cool it quickly to prevent bacteria growth. It is perfectly safe to reheat rice but it is not safe to cook rice then leave it sat at room temperature before refrigerating. Basically cook it, let it steam and then whatever you don't eat goes in the fridge ASAP. I just started playing this game and I have a v8 swapped NSX and I have to say, apart from the dumb AI it is a great game.
Funny you posted this while I came back to NFS Heat after playing Unbound. I recently got a racing sim setup to play them and other racing games and my gosh did I miss Heat after playing Unbound. I definitely think its better than Unbound and recommend Heat to friends that haven't played any Need for Speed games in years!
11:25 You mean a TDU function where you start off in a trailer home with two garage spaces and if you want to advance have to buy more property and garages? That would be great but could be seen as filler in a NfS game.
I do still think Heat is the best modern title by quite a margin. Sure you can still feel that the game was rushed in some places, and you feel that the game had content planned but never got around to releasing it. But the core gameplay and how it's made is just so good it keeps me coming back to the game quite often
