Yeah why they just don't use NOS like for example, certain PSP versions NFS games like MW 510, Carbon OTC, ProStreet and Undercover has its AI never used NOS at all but they're still fast no matter what 😵
You know you can disable option in settings that turn off opponents quick follow up if go far from them? No nitro and no follow up is basically an "easier easy" difficulty.
Funny thing is when I played when I was younger, I never knew about the speed breaker until Carbon, so I played the entire game without ever using, including the drag races, so yes it is possible to do no SB as a challenge if you want to.

It's like they want a more realistic cop chases, but I don't think anyone asked for that. And honestly I'm scared for a remaster of carbon and most wanted cause I'm afraid they will mess with the cops.
It's almost like you can have both. With different settings. I think the sweetspot would be heat's System but without taking absurd amounts of damage for ramming cops.

I remember in 2007 I was "forced" to play NFSMW like this. So we just had a burglary and my PC was stolen. So all I had was a laptop which BARELY coped with running the game. I was able to purchase my first car, but each time I tried upgrading and leaving the shop, the game would crash before it could autosave, so only option was to use Blacklist cars. I was able to get #14's car, then #12, and then #10. This is where the game became a grind because I was not getting pinkslips and I was eventually winning Blacklist races on pure luck and tenacity😂. But then I was able to land #2's SLR McLaren which is basically modded to the max except for the nitrous, and slaughtered Razor with it.
When i was a kid playing MW, if I didn’t get the pink slip after beating the blacklist guys, I’d plug my PC off the wall to make sure the game doesn’t save it, and then would restart the race.
I actually did win a race once whilst on Bull, #2. Got my ride impounded, had enough to purchase a Lexus and install NOS level 1. Totally stock, I won the sprint race to allow me to bail my main ride out and race against Bull. I haven't tried beating the game with a stock car because it gets a bit boring driving around, unless you're using Junkman parts.
arrr the rx8, loved using that thing back in the day. Some reason it was better and breaking through road blocks than any other car I had because it would launch the police car up and not get caught on them as badly as other cars. Even managed to escape the police with it after i lost my front wheels, thankfully the last cop died as i braked like man to not hit the spikes. That was a nail biting cooldown.
Idk if you knew this, but the pink slip will always be to the right of the Extra Impound strike. Pick the first one. So if it's Get Out of Jail, the pink slip will be the third one. If it's Extra Impound Strike, pink slip will be the 2nd one.
I've beaten the game only once, and Cobalt was the only car I used. I was shocked by the suspiciously good free upgrades - I remember that one stat exceeded the in-game scale.
I know hey i ended up making the mustang with only junkman parts any car you choose will beat the game with those parts i finished the game more then. I can remember. Also if u finish the game like that and you sell all the cars and impound the last car you failed when you restart the cars are all unlock so starter cars and free for all making you a beast😂

It's hella easy just get the special after market upgrades rather then get the black list car but you'll eventually have use someone's black list car I notice you can beat half the dudes on the list with the supra and after market upgrades
Yep my last play through was is300 then I got into a Supra ran that until I got the vette then from there for fun I jumped into a gallardo the vette and Supra are where the game really shines though the mid way up blacklist level racing is pure gold they could remaster then game and make millions
I could be completely wrong here. But everytime I’ve picked markers. The pink slip marker is never in the same spot as last time. So I usually guarantee the car as long as I remember where I picked last

When i was kidd playing this, didnt know what HEAT is, didnt know how to slow time, didnt use any tuning, didnt know how backstash upgrade works... finished the game with 1 porsche cayman i won from the guy :D Never ever drove anything else from moment i got it.
Back when this was on GameCube, I got so good at driving different cars, I would sling myself under the trucks without issues or speedbreaker. Just takes a metric truckload of skill to get to that point.
I did this before. Win blacklist drivers’ cars and special performance markers. Blacklist #3 and, #2 cars are fully upgraded. With special performance added to each, the game is beatable.
8:49 isnt the markers always the same ? i play the game 3 times a row, i tested with the more options mod and give 6 markers per Black list members and the car was always at the same place for the same members i dont know if that was the version of my game, incredible luck or more option mod

YOU CAN WIN THE BLACKLIST CAR AT EVERY ENEMY because if you remember where you pulled the car at lets say blacklist 15, at the next blacklist driver the Slot is to 100% on another Spot that means you just Need to remember where the Slot was the last time and just pull the oder 2 Slots thank me later and try it out it Works ( Even if you dont get the car it is on another Slot to 100%)
I just beat Baron with Sony's Golf and then I completed the rest of the game with Baron's Cayman. It's not too hard if you get the Blacklist members cars

I played the game trough just with the Chevy but not on purpose. I always took the performance kit at the end and my car ended up being faster then the one of the the bosses. But I needed to pay for changing the colour because the cops got otherwise extremely annoying
Wanted to see how far I could get without spending any money and only using the cobalt. I got up to member 11. And couldn't beat him. Though I didn't try all that hard. I think it's possible for member 10 to be beaten if you were near perfect. I don't think member 9 is possible, I could be wrong though. These are just personal thoughts with no backing. TRY ON A STOCK CAR WITHOUT CHANGING IT. Back in a day, I tried stock COBALT SS, after 5th place, races got harder but not compared to challenges against cops....... I played for 6 months to beat the game on stock car, tried every stock car, all of them pretty much the same against cops, I gave up because thought I am going to kill my PC if I try the same race 541 time again without any changes. BTW, it is all about luck, sometimes cops are stupid but it is rare af.

As a challenge just restrict yourself to 1 of everything, only 1 car to buy, only 1 pick after the race, only 1 part to upgrade etc.

I think you should try with one of the 3 stock cars the whole run with no upgrades at all including marker upgrades

I remembered there was an area has 8 shaped road, which was great for milestones and bounty. Also there is a cooldown spot at the gas station.
