For this anime, it's essentially the supernatural adventures of a family bloodline. Like, first season's protagonist is the grandfather of the second season's protagonist.
you really cant just keep that to yourself huh buddy hahaha. it was funny how she thinks its the same character in the whole anime.
Well said buddy
And in the third one is his grand grand son

I mean look at DIO's minions
No, it's just you, man. I'd go see a therapist if I were you.
4:35 "Aren't those the guys from the beginning?".
It never gets old seeing people confuse Joseph and Caesar with Jonathan and Dio; it never fails to make me laugh but I can't blame them if they don't have context. xD
Edit: Now confusing Jotaro with Jonathan, THAT'S new. xd
Its always quite fun seeing everything they get wrong compared to the actual series
It hurts my soul 😢 but the confusion is very understandable
my favourite part is how everyone thinks Joseph and Jotaro are Johnatan, but then Jotaro shanges heis clothes in part 4 and almost noone recognises him
She's on the mindset that the main character will be the same every season.
What how it's confusing
the "where's everyone" after the ending of the crusaders arc openings was heartbreaking.

Why "Venice"? Why not "Venezia"? Just say italian names more italian-ish! 😠🤷♂

Yes. It's a JoJo reference.
@@paulosergioribeiro7200 You know Paris, France? In English, it's pronounced "Paris" but everyone else pronounces it without the "s" sound, like the French do. But with Venezia, everyone pronouces it the English way: "Venice". Like The Merchant of Venice or Death in Venice. WHY, THOUGH!? WHY ISN'T THE TITLE DEATH IN VENEZIA
Man, I really love the theory crafting. Especially since I can laugh when you're way off base, and I can gasp and cheer when you're spot on.

"JoJo" isn't a person but a nickname given to people from the "Joestar" bloodline.
First JoJo (op1) is called "Jonathan Joestar" (he's the dark-haired guy)
Second JoJo (op2) is "Joseph Joestar" (he's the other dark haired guy)
Third JoJo (op3-4) is "Jotaro Kujo" he's pretty much the most popular and iconic JoJo in the series.
Fourth JoJo (op5-7) is "Josuke Higashikata" his part in the show is my favourite with part 2 being a close second.
Fifth JoJo (op8-9) is "Giorno Giovanna". The "Gio" is pronounced as "Jo" because it's an Italian name.
Sixth JoJo (op10-12) is "Jolyne Cujoh" her part (Stone Ocean) is the latest part in the anime as of writing.
There are 3 more JoJos in parts 7-9 but they're only in the manga.
The "robots" you saw in the openings are beings called "Stands", they're the physical manifestations of someone's fighting spirit. You can think of it as thier "Personas"
If i had to describe every part in a nutshell it would be:
Part1 (Phantom Blood): Gentleman fighting evil vampire with magic sunlight punches.
Part2 (Battle Tendancy): a part American guy fighting evil zesty super-human beings to save the world.
Part3 (Stardust Crusaders): a journey across the world to Egypt to defeat a 100 year old ultimate villain to save mother.
Part4 (Diamond is Unbreakable): small town murder mystery with a lot of explosions.
Part5 (Golden Wind): there is no better way for creating a bond with friends than to take over the Italian mafia together.
Part6 (Stone Ocean):
P r i s o n e s c a p e
I kinda have to point out that it’s Jolyne KUJO not Cujoh. Weird that you spelled her father’s name correctly but then spelled her’s that way
Mucho texto
@@RoflCannon6 that's how it's spelled on her mugshot
why do you have to say it though.
@@lonelyguy5799 say what exactly?
10:09 “The creatures that tend to stand behind them”
Little do you know, you just pointed out the exact reason why they’re called “Stands”
Basically spoiler free description of the show:
The show tackles the history of a bloodline as they come face to face with foes and lifetime fueds. JOJO is not one person but a nickname for all members of the descending family tree. Each Season is a new Jo whose name shortens ultimately to JOJO tying them all together not just by blood but in name as well.
Certifiably not spoiler free
@@SwiftJusticeabsolutely spoiler free
daaaamn, you're the first one to actually watch. seriously, just look at the details and you can get so much from these openings... what did you do) congratulations! I won't spoil it, I'll just say that you said a lot of things correctly
10:10 The "creature that tend Stand behind them" is almost word for word the actual description used when they were first introduced lol
"They are the physical manifestation of a person's will power that Stand behind (beside?) them" or "Stand" for short
More of a summon. They’re called Stands and they’re a physical manifestation of their spiritual energy. The chicken 🐔 is Magician’s Red, the alien 👽 is Hyrophant Green and the robot 🤖 is Silver Chariot.
👽
15:20 not the same, the entire song itself was a remix of the one before it, and there was a couple small visual changes to do with the small kid in green and his ability. Also, the things they “morph” into are called stands, if you’ve ever heard of them before in memes. I believe they’re supposed to be basically the manifestation of the users fighting spirit, so it’s more a summon than a transformation
this is something i always worry will happen with reactions to these openings. the reactor doesn't pay attention and then says somehting dumb
Yeah, how could someone miss the fact that it was changed? It almost sounds like an entirely different song.
To be fair, almost all of the changes in JOJO's openings happen at the end and are very noticeable because the music also changes. The Koichi one is so smooth that most reactors will miss it at first because the soundtrack is gonna distract them or they will expect it by the end of the song.
I LOVE how you actually paused and rewatched parts to better understand what was happening. You really dug into these and made me smile when you started to see things others would miss. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! ☺️
There's no way you guessed so many things in your first watch! Yes, the guy from the third opening v2 is in fact the same than the one on the first opening, but as you see the protagonist changes every season (part)
also, the star in the back is a birthmark the joestar bloodline has (protagonists)
27:12 His name is Diavolo which means devil 😂😂 Ironic af
The girl in the last couple opening songs isn’t the one from the first opening. She’s her great great great granddaughter.
I don't believe it she listen the two versions of the first op of arc4 and she didn't notice that the instrument and the style changes completly to a techno vibe and don't even speak of the stand of Koichi that doesn't be in the first one.
This show was a lot to process, there was a lot going on lol
@AliAnimus Can't blame you. This has the word "Bizarre" in its title for a reason. But its such a fun watch throughout till the recent part.
Love seeing JoJo content. I've been a fan of the series for over 20 years, and it's easily my favorite piece of fiction ever. Fun fact: JoJo is such an influential piece of media that the creator got paintings of it into The Louvre.
I found your channel via the frieren reacts and I would be overjoyed to see you react to jojo. It's title name is perfect, for its so bizarre, and its SUCH an adventure. Out of all animes ive seen this anime feels the most like true adventure (besides one piece).
For context, this anime inspired almost all modern shonen/fighting animes, the unique special abilities jojo came up with directly influenced sooooo many famous shonen characters from other famous shonen series.
For context, jojo started in manga form in 1987, and only had some ovas here and there, this modern full anime started in 2012. So you need to understand that this is a monument of manga/anime culture from a long time ago, TONS of other animes make jojo references for fun because everyone loves it, all manga/anime creators respect the hell out of jojo for its cultural importance. So for jojo to get a full anime THAT late is insane, but they did it when they were finally ready to tackle it.
Also its actually quite funny, they made season 1 of the modern anime ONLY because it was jojo's 25th anniversary, they didn't even plan to make more, but it was such a big success in anime form that they just kept going and going.
But yeah, culturally jojo single handedly created a lot of character tropes that we often see now that didn't exist before jojo, its insane.
Initially I never wanted to watch jojo because the style seemed weird to me, then after some years I saw clips of the anime and finally saw the appeal, that it wasn't what I assumed. Then I gave the anime a try and I ended up binging the first few seasons within days, it hit me like a train, I even had dreams of it at first it impacted me so much.
It is unlike any other form of media you've ever seen, and it is SO refreshing of an experience.
Whenever you see great anime they might stick in your head for a few years, but jojo will stick around forever in your head.
Also a little fun fact, the creator of jojo is so famous for his detailed skilled jojo art style that his art was even brought on display in the Louvre art museum in Paris (the same museum that holds the mona lisa and some michelangelo statues), he is the ONLY mangaka (or any anime related artist) to have been ever featured there. He was also the only mangaka to ever land an official collab with Gucci, with full on clothing made only for that collab.
Sorry that I keep rambling but that's just because this show means so much to me and I'd have for others to miss out on the experience.
Oh wow thank you for sharing all this knowledge, insane they’ve accomplished so much! 😳
One piece did collab with Gucci as well
@@as-unknown7498 Interesting, didn't know about that.
The best of the best, JoJo's bizarre adventure and One Piece :)
JJBA has also collaborated with balenciaga, lumine, and mercedes benz

I love how she said "he put the mask and turned evil"
Nah, Dio Brando is the concept of evil himself!!!
"they are lovers?" noooo Jojo (Jotaro, the man with the hat) is his dad
Hi, it's my first time on your channel, and I'm happy and excited to see how much you could already figure some things out. Lots happens in this story, I'll be thrilled to follow your reactions to it if you decide to include it in your channel 🌸
did she just undertsanted King crimson's abbility instently ?!
It's indeed bizarre.
Btw, the cat is cute tho
What i love the most about Op 4 (The End of the World) Is that the singers are all three from the first 3 openings as a symbol of the generational plot of this anime (Tommy Tominaga, CODA and JIN) It´s just an amazing opening and song overall.
To put it simple, unlike other anime series that focuses on one main, Jojo follows a different formula.
The story is a generational one. Each part will introduce a new main character that is part is related in one way or another to a previous main lead as well as a new cast of supportive characters.
'Jojo' is a monicker for the main character. With each new part, the one that becomes the new lead gains that monicker. So the whole 'Jojo's bizzare adventure' doesn't reffer to a single person.
The series is an interesting study case for story writting. The beginning isn't that good, but with each part, the author hones his skills and elevates the story.
I'm sure all fans will agree that with each part, the whole thing becomes better and better.
Essentially each part of JoJo's follows a different member of the Joestar family. JoJo is a family nickname combining the fact that every main member has a first name and last name containing the sound "Jo" at the start.
For example the first and second opening are actually separate parts with separate characters but look alike because of their relation.
Part 1 being Jonathan and part 2 being his grandson Joseph, so on and so forth.
I think my favourite part of watching Jojo openings reactions is when people assume that Johnathan and Dio in the first opening are Joseph and Caesar in the second opening.
They set their differences aside and worked together.
Her: This is weird
Me who watched and read the novel: This is weird.
i love your cat its so adorable
You are the only reactor who was able to catch that the last opening contains bits from previous openings. Even some reaction channels who watch the show failed to catch that
Seeing your deductions and theories while knowing exactly what everything means in the OPs is so funny xD
When she reacted to Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town and said - "Where are the guys from previous openings?" I've almost cried...
You seriously should react to this show! You will not regret starting a masterpiece like JJBA!
The girl's mom was in that pendant. The guy now on tubes is her dad.
You actually guessed correctly on a part that's considered so difficult to process, even fans who've finished the series still have trouble understanding it 😮
Hope you react to it! The show is surprisingly human and the final part of Stardust Crusaders might be my favorite anime ending ever. Also despite the muscular builds shown, JJBA embraces a lot of vulnerability among its male characters.
For context each part has a different protagonist. They're all descendants of the really buff dude from the first opening the story starts in 1889 and ends in 2012
A lot of your guesses are actually ON POINT, pretty impressive
Lol the cat is also reacting to it so cute
In the third opening they now have stands , is a manifestation of the characters souls
I looove that you always pay attention to these reactions. Most people don't realize that there are recurring characters, or later OP refrenced earlier OP. If you're this good at noticing details, I think you should watch jojo.
I love watching people reacting to these openings and seeing how far off they can be to the actual plot
Something to point out about how old this Manga is (many many many manga/shows have Jojo references in them) :
In the first Opening at 1:26 you can see the Girl character (Jolyne Kujo) that is the main character from Part 6 (OP 11-12). That is because the first publishing of JJBA was in 1986 and Araki-san still writes this story
also you will see that instead of making a playlist to show people his taste in music he just created a manga.
JoJo is adventures bizzarre of a family bloodline Joestar Like, first season's protagonist is the grandfather of the second season's protagonist and his grandson is the third protagonist
and the protagonist of the sixth season is the daughter of the third
etc etc etc
all main characters are just different generations of joestar familly. Each part have other main character
26:35 how... how she do that... how she was almost precisely in their statement... its her first time seeing this... Holy moly
Each part basically follows a person with the nickname “JoJo” in a different generation.
A common theme you'll notice when you watch this is FATE DESTINY AND BLOODLINES
The intros are wild for being insanely spoiler filled but only thematically or symbolically.
Can't wait till she found out why the show is called(Jojo BIZARRE adventure 😂
All I'll say is time, gravity and fate are VERY important in JJBA.
Jojo fans let her cook those theories are 99000% accurate
The greatest father of modern manga in my opinion, also a huge indirect contributor of the pop culture until this days, Hirohiko Araki, from this random comment section on a youtube video, I have to say THANK YOU.
I hope that one day I could do 1/10 of what he has done for the art, from making really funny stories and characters, to questioning fragile masculinity and breaking with feminine canons decades ago, let's appreciate everything he has done while he is still alive.
JoJo's could be just an entertainment series if you choose to, but you can also read between lines to see that there's a lot more behind.
Also, the second version of Heaven´s Falling Down is quite possibly one of the best openings i´ve ever seen. In case you didn´t noticed, you should watch the beggining and the end of the 1st opening and rewatch OP-11
Would you believe, after all this, if I told you that the first part is essentially a victorian era family drama?
Bizarre Openings for a Bizarre show 😎
Bro I can genuinely say for all of the times I've watched these openings, and hell, seen the series, I have never ONCE thought that " time seems to be important" after the first four openings despite it being 100% true, and that's such a good observation from someone who has never seen the show before!! In a vacuum like obviously time matters, right, but the things you pick up on are much smaller but still very relevant, I love it! Hope to stick around for more of this!
Who is Jojo, What is Jojo! Definitely a classic and must watch or try to! And all parts have different vibes!
I have been starved of JoJo reaction vids for so long that I grasp at anything I can find. I just want more people to experience this MASTERPIECE of an anime (and record themselves while doing it)
Finally what I've been waiting for is finally you watching the opening of Jojo😊
“It looks like he put on the mask and turned evil”
So close! He put on the mask and nothing changed about his personality
LOL
Many JoJo fans said JoJo's op has a lot of spoil but this is the reaction of non JoJo fans they don't understand anything🤣🤣
Bro almost every opening I was like these are some amazing observations especially with the time ones awesome work
Thy all look so muscular, because of the author drawing inspiration from the manga/anime "Fist of the North Star" (Jp: "Hokuto no Ken"). Until he found his own style during later arcs.
And to add to this information... Streetfighter on the other hand, drew inspiration from Jojo. Guile from Street fighter was even directly inspired by Jojo's character Rudol von Stroheim.
Guile is inspired by Polnareff, and his name is inspired by Polnareff's ennemy, J.Geil

Jojo is divided into parts with each having its own protagonist who are related to each other.

I like watching these they’re cool. If you rewatched and paused through the openings to theorise I wouldn’t be mad at all
So I have started watching jojos. I'm halfway through part 2 or basically season 1.
Its amazing I really love it I've heard it gets better in the later parts too so I'm excited to see the stands which I've heard come in part 3.
Highly recommend up till now.

If you decide to watch JJBA, I feel like the way to approach it is to just go into it ready to remind yourself "he made a strong style choice and ran hard with it." I liked it, and the music is great, but it's also ridiculous. A ridiculous and fun journey, even - to quote a different anime. 😉
