Why don’t you have 1mil yet? I can’t name a nother UA-camr who has this much dedication and hard work for his videos. And also when I commented on one of your videos you responded which not many people do. I am so happy when you post a vid and will always be subbed to you man. Love what you do! ❤️❤️⚾️
Thank You Zack Hample I just bought some merch from you and your merch is the best because it cheaper that most other UA-camrs so that you for that.Keep making great youtube videos
It’s fascinating how much science is involved in making baseballs gameday ready. One thing I’ve always loved about baseball is how they mix stats and science with the game and it gives stat nerds like me more things to learn about in terms of the sport.
This is such a cool and unique video! I never would have wondered what kind of stuff is actually inside a baseball! Must take so much time and effort to be able to put all of the stitching, the strings, the adhesive, everything, into multiple baseballs one by one! Amazing video, Zack! Hopefully we'll be able to see each other at a baseball game again real soon (when they let fans back in of course...)
My son took one apart, but it wasn't a MLB ball. I think it was a Diamond brand ball we found in the woods by a city owned field. It was very similar though.
You should know as a Yankees fan. You guys were crushing the balls last year until the Houston Trashcans got in your way. Even as a Padres fan I was pulling for you guys in the playoffs.
Even though the Yankees swept the Padres in 1998, I’ve always respected you guys. You had two of my favorite players growing up (Ichiro and Derek Jeter) at the same time.
Adam Ramirez I know that they were juiced and that we were hitting a ton of home runs, but I’m wondering what part of the inside of the ball changed to make them juiced
Q&A Part 24: Zack, do you think Mike Trout's contract with the Angels is the biggest in sports history or is Patrick Mahomes contract with the Chiefs the biggest?
hey Zack i live in Tennessee and there is a minor league team here thats alright i really want a major league team here so can you say something about it or something because they said if it gets popular enough they will make one and i want to start getting some MLB balls and im big fan of red sox Yankees braves but there all to far away i mean braves is like 5 hours and i could go but im 10 and if you know what i mean nobody is going to go there with me so i would like if you could do something and that would be great
‼️Hey Zack! It’s not set in stone yet but the Toronto Bluejays have a possibility to play at Sahlen Field in Buffalo, New York which is the home field of the Buffalo Bisons, who are the AAA Afilliate of the Toronto Bluejays. If they do play at Sahlen Field we will be able to watch the games from a spot in the outfield without going into the stadium which we obviously can’t do. It would be great for you to come to Buffalo and watch the games. Please get back to me if you are interested!‼️
Well I’m kinda sad that there won’t be any stadium videos this year but since Comcast is my TV provider I finally get to watch my cubs on the Marquee network.
@@zackhample Thanks for answering. The best part about that thin air is when the Rockies hit the ball out of Coors, in a late inning game in the evening.
Zack, love your video's. since you took apart a practice ball is their any difference between that ball and the so called "JUICED" ball that players were complaining about last season?!?!?!
I did this with my little league ball and it took about an hour a day for 3 days! Also quick question are you accepting fan mail and ttm requests during these times? I have a package ready to ship to NY!
Zack loved the video!!! The only thing I was confused by was in the beginning when you said you had never taken apart a baseball for this youtube channel, when I clearly remember seeing a video in the past where you opened up a baseball I think you said you caught in Nationals Park. Could you confirm I didn’t dream that up and you actually did open up a baseball for this youtube channel in the past?
Zack huge fan & I have a question for Q&A part 24. If you could go back in time & witness any moment in Baseball History live in person which moment would it be? Also would love a shout out.
Now that's an amazing bit of engineering....(and reverse engineering, Zack!) To think how quickly MLB will toss it aside after a few pitches or drops to the dirt. I almost want to cry for it. Talk about 15 seconds of fame!
Zack Hample thanks for replying I love your content and you have made this whole time so much better. I sure hope that everything gets back to normal and we all can get back to the best sport, BASEBALL. Thanks 🙏
I’ve seen the inside of a baseball so many times because when I play at my neighborhood field which sucks btw when I use the baseballs for awhile or one gets run over by a lawn mower when I forget one they always Rip obviously so yeah
Hey sack I have a question so is there like a tracker or anything on baseballs because how do they know how far the baseball goes and the speed it was hit and also the arc on the ball
Zack, why does the ball feel so hard when its full of string and is there is way to make the balls less dense/hard so they don't cause as much injury when someone gets hits by it?
Q&A I started a rubber band ball and it is perfect for my wrist , how much years do you think it will take me to make it as big as yours at the moment ?
@Zack Hample this is irrelevant but I happen to have ur attention at this moment but maybe u can watch games on tv with headphones(so we don’t here copyright sound) and u livestream it and talk with your viewers about the game. U could prob just go one of the National TV games but whatever u can come up with is fine if u decide to do it. looking forward for more content.
Once at my brothers baseball game somebody hit a foul ball and the white part was coming off so me and some friends were there the whole entire game deconstructing the baseball and by the end of the game his team now had a 1-10 record and we couldn't finish what we where doing
So you're telling me that over the course of his career, this guy has caught over 11,000,000 feet of string and yarn?
spritz19 god
:o
Guess baseballs aren't the only thing that he's caught over the years!
Knit a sweater
Zack Hample I love you
I’ve done this once before it was really weird when I didn’t know what all the stuff was
Golf balls used to be made like this but with rubber instead of yarn
One of my favorite videos you’ve done yet besides going to baseball games best video during quarantine yet
Thank you!
Zack Hample You’re welcome

That's nice of you to say. Hopefully I'll reach 1M someday.
Great video Zack - very cool! I respect all the effort you put into disassembling the ball for the video- it better hit one million views at least!
Thanks, but the views just aren't there. :(

I met u in Philadelphia at a Phillies game last year and u were such a cool guy, keep up the good work!

It’s fascinating how much science is involved in making baseballs gameday ready. One thing I’ve always loved about baseball is how they mix stats and science with the game and it gives stat nerds like me more things to learn about in terms of the sport.
Well said. It really IS remarkable.
This pretty cool I never really thought about what’s inside of a baseball
Thanks!
OMG you respond
Anyone else love the smell of a fresh MLB baseball?

Nice! Hi to your son.
Zack you vids are awesome
What did you do with the materials from the ball after you took it apart?
Still sitting on my desk.
What makes the 2019 balls different, making them juiced

I have always enjoyed doing this as a kid. Watching this gives me nostalgia.
Good job Zack I got the mlb umpire hat because of you! Keep it up!
Enjoy!
Hey bro thanks for making quarantine better keep up the amazing work
Thanks for watching.
@@zackhample omg no way
Love the shirt dude ❤️ keep up the good work bro!
Thanks!
Wow never new how amazing those baseballs really are!
Can you do more collection videos
Q&A Part 24: Zack, do you think Mike Trout's contract with the Angels is the biggest in sports history or is Patrick Mahomes contract with the Chiefs the biggest?
Patty
Well, Trout is better and that's all that matters.
@@zackhample True
I have done this, the stitching was old. It was fun
Damn, that seam ripping sound was good
I took apart a base ball once and I used scissors and a kitchen knife
So which Rawlings model baseball is closest to the mlb game ball but more affordable for recreational use hitting and pitching?
Keep up the great content!
Great video zack! I was trying to see if Verlander's theory was true lol
That’s sick. I had no clue there were that many layers
Thanks for watching. Glad you learned something.
Always have wondered what is inside of it
That's kind of cool. I want to take a part a ball now too, and find the code number now.

I miss seeing you out there making baseball fans happy at the Stadium.. I can’t wait until you get back out there!!!
Aww, thanks!
Great facts and figures, always like learning that sort of thing.
Thanks!
Will you do a predictions for the 2020 mlb season with Girrafeneckmarc please.
I already did my predictions. ua-cam.com/video/KgfsC8bHdgI/v-deo.html
Zack Hample sorry I forgot.
Thank You for showing me what's inside a MLB baseball I wanted to see what's inside ⚾️
You’re welcome, Brody!
That’s so cool Zack I’ve got 5 baseballs that I got at the end of the 2019 braves games for BP and got a new glove on this past Tuesday
Nice!
Yep Zack
A new video format? Awesome!
I like to change things up a bit.
Zack Hample keep it coming
Yay another vid I love your vids so much god bless your family and friends spread love
Thanks for watching.
Ok. Now put it back together!!!😂
Oof.
Not sure he can after all the pink rubber
So it great! Thank you!!!

@@sportstvhd1113 ikr, boring
Very exciting! Might need to make my up there at some point.
Zack Hample let me know if your gonna go to a game! Me and my friends will be sitting on a parking garage in rf
Before I watched this I knocked the guts out of a baseball sandlot style at my first travel game of the season. It was also a homer
Well I’m kinda sad that there won’t be any stadium videos this year but since Comcast is my TV provider I finally get to watch my cubs on the Marquee network.
Well at least you care about cable tv
Can you explain the Coors field home runs and what part of the ball it effects, with the attitude?
Balls there used to dry out, get hard, and travel extra far because of the thin mile-high air.
@@zackhample Thanks for answering. The best part about that thin air is when the Rockies hit the ball out of Coors, in a late inning game in the evening.
Thanks for making awesome videos! 🙌
Thanks for watching. :)
Now put it back together!
I wouldn’t even want to attempt that
Best UA-camr ever
I’ve really looked forward to seeing your videos weekly Zack, been missing them now for 3 weeks hope all is ok.
What teams are doing the, “If you hit my silhouette” they mail you the ball?
Your Videos Are So Interesting Zack 💯
Thank you, Ruben.
Very interesting video keep up the great work man!!
Thanks!
opening day on thursday Zach you ready for some baseball?!
How do you feel on the 60 game schedule this year
Now that baseball ⚾️ is back you should live stream of you reacting to games I would love it
Zack, love your video's. since you took apart a practice ball is their any difference between that ball and the so called "JUICED" ball that players were complaining about last season?!?!?!
Too hard to see with the naked eye. You need fancy tests and data to spot the difference.

Where would I get an unfinished stitched baseball?
Dude, I just realized how many baseballs will go uncollected this year. Zack, you must me crawling in your skin.
It hurts much more to see other people catching them.
Hey Zach if you do another asmr again you should use the cutting string sound it's really good and love your vids your the best keep up the great work

wow the pink rubber is from my country
Impressive. I still have my 2 baseballs.
Pettition to put zack hample in the baseball hof? the homie is pretty much a ambassador for baseball
Make it happen.
Yo Zack what’s up? I have a question for ur next q&a, What is you’re favorite baseball memorabilia that isn’t a ball or a ticket stub?
Hmm, gotta think.
That is cool. Keep up the good content

Q&A Part 24: Zack, which MLB stadium do you hate the most?
Citi Field
Wow cool video idea
