A loving daughter mistook her father’s desire for her to lose weight as his own while they were on a walk along a nearby river in eastern China’s Shandong province. ‘I love you no matter what you will become,’ said the girl to her dad in the viral video on Chinese social media platforms.

father is honestly a great guy, hes not forcing anything, the way he said "lets go for a quick walk everyday after dinner" that's so gentle and kind, really precious family.

She is not only sweet, she is by far beyond her years in both her humanity for others and in her personal intelligence . What a superb beautiful sensitive child. I mean sensitive to others as opposed to herself which is quite rare in children even the best of children because they are children . Yes, her father meant well for her but she thought that it was him he was trying to get rolling and she loved him no matter what . This little girl could teach we adults a few lessons that we have forgotten never mind those children who gave her grief . You are both lucky parents to have such a precious child .

The girl literally has a pure heart. Even though her dad's intentions are not bad but the way she thought about it is literally really cute.

She's very smart, she knows very well that he wants her to lose weight, and she used reverse psychology on him. He can play along and tell her that he wants to bein the healthy weight range, and with the correct ratio of muscle to fat, so that he can live long to be with her as long as she needs him.
On the contrary, she actually has a somewhat corrupted heart/young mind. Where did she get the idea that somebody will stop loving someone when they get fat? That's obviously not instinctive.
If she hasn't been corrupted, she will not think weight has anything to do with love. She will only ask her father about the benefits of losing weight.

Her optimism and mentality will be tested by her peers and society as she grows older. I hope she realizes she's already learned what alot of us are still struggling with even as adults.
It's sad what the world can do to a sweet child like this. If only we could all keep that part of ourselves for a little longer.

She isn't even fat... just chubby. I bet she will grow out of it and become naturally proportionate. I was one of those "fat" kids who eventually slimmed down as a I grew bigger and older, and I didn't do any major exercise or follow any strict diets.
I just walked a lot as a teen (gettin out there lookin for girls, lol), so I guess that helped... and toting around a 30lb boom box everywhere probably helped, too.

I'm not sure why judging someone for their weight has been normalized other than it's easily identifiable, so an easy target.

Allowing the child to eat that much to get that fat to start with is the parents fault. Beautiful would have been a balanced diet to start with & not allow her to get that fat. The pressure on her heart, lungs, knees & hips is real and can be very damaging from a medical stand point.

@@jaconova agreed. Fat acceptance is too far in society. By allowing a child to become obese it’s a form of abuse and harming them. A little bit of walking and slowing down how much a heavy child snacks is doing them a big favor down the road! Caring for one’s well being and health longevity is the true way to care for and love them, not allowing your little girl to develop habits young that will ruin her life

Thats not bad parenting? If its known her fathers fat it can easily be genetic. Some people gain weight way easier then others and soe people cant gain it much at all. This comment is rude. This little girl is happy and hes trying his best to make sure shes active and healthy

The way she talks shows just how smart she is at such a young age.. she realised that going for a walk helps to lose weight and even reassured her dad that she loves him no matter what..it shows she understands that people can be insecure abt the way they look.. her parents must be really proud of her ❤️
