This arc basically confirmed to us that Uub has the greatest potential in the whole series. I swear that Kid Buu inheriting the majority of the god ki was such an interesting good plot twist, and explains why he was so tough to kill

Bro thank you! I really appreciate that! Dragon Ball is a great anime and the Moro Arc is one of my favorites, so it felt good to put energy into this, and other videos I’ve done! Welcome to the community! 🔥
The best arc in Super. Utilizes the entire cast in an effective way, progresses Goku and Vegeta in newer, unique ways, makes Moro an well rounded villain, Merus is a welcome addition to the cast, and it just feels so Toriyama. Both writing and artistic wise. Loved it
A part of me wishes Frieza got actively involved in this arc. Since he was far below Moro’s level of power at this point in the story, Goku’s lecture before the final battle about training could’ve also helped set the foundation for Frieza’s training into Black Frieza.
Frieza shows up in an extra chapter. He basically says that he knows that things are whacked out, but he’s not getting involved with criminals since he’s a legitimate businessman. To the shock and confusion of one of his assistants. He also talks about expanding his empire to make sure this doesn’t put him on the backlot IIRC.
The Moro arc felt like old DBZ. Excellent power scaling, good story, some humor along the way, and Merus is an incredible character and it was awesome to see him develop. I REALLY hope Toei renews DBS for the Moro and Granolah arcs at the very least.
🤮this arc is trash... Moro is too op but the writers are too dumb. Moro won, the universe is consumed and then destroyed by Zeno. Moro is a sentient black hole, consuming all matter around him and growing.... But the .... Heros won???
I like how Vegeta was opened to capturing Moro, only going for the kill after he got permission. Would he prefer to killed Moro? Definitely and probably would without a second thought a few years ago. But the fact he was willing to asked at all shows huge character growth.
Ironic that even though Vegeta is still willing to kill and will always proudly claim so that he'd still kill. He never was able to kill any villain ever since Buu saga when he killed Puipui and nearly killed Fat Buu. DB Super vegeta never was able to kill but still awesome that he is still that badass.
The Moro arc is peak it shows Goku and Vegetas growth since the tournament of power how strong they can get in future uubs potential it also gave Vegeta a huge chance to shine
I honestly enjoyed this Arc. Moro was an enjoyable villain. Also showed one my favorite scenes: The part when Goku gave him a Sensu Bean but when he went to attack him, he hardened his body and broke his hand, that shit was COLD.
Facts. I really like Moro as a villain. He brings a unique vibe to the series. Not to mention the additions of Merus and the Grand Supreme Kai added variety.
when he handed him a senzu bean I have cell flash backs and facepalmed myself...and then I seen Moros hand get shattered against gokus David goggins workout abs lmaooo
I love this arc. 1. It had a big bad who had a good reason as to why he is so powerful, and I love how he was built up along with OG-7-3, because they didn't start off as strong or stronger than the main characters. 2. It utilized the other Z-fighters, and the prisoners got power-ups from Moro, so they didn't feel like canon-phother. (The criminal break out I actually liked, because it felt like an Arkham Asylum escape.) 3. There were some cool new abilities.
ok now i see why people had an issue with goku at the end of this arc. Bro had every reason and right to kill Moro when he first when MUI and just chose not to and tried to spare him 4 times despite Moro betraying his trust right to his face and almost got the entire galaxy killed as a result had Jaco and the grand priest not remembered Uub existed.
Agreed. I can honestly give some respect to Goku letting him have a chance to have the option to go back to jail and the senzu bean in good faith (Which he should have done AFTER he was put into a position where he couldn't do anything with the power.), but the moment he came to the conclusion that Moro was just a sneaky coward after throwing his gift back at him like that, the conversation should have ended there. But no, I just love when danger is manufactured from stupidity like taking the threat lightly and just yapping, allowing the foe to get the boost and once again get a "Darn, I should have finished him sooner!" spiel with Dragon Ball recently.
Well he was giving moro a second chance . Remember all the z fighters here vegeta, piccolo, tian, androids and even buu were here just because goku gave them a second chance and they took it. Also the ultimate dealbreaker uub was also born out of goku’s wish of forgiving even the most evil foes.
i gotta admit that senzu bean mercy was foolish. But in return we see goku most badass manga panel of breaking Moro's arm just by his body flexing due to MUI. That made me respect Toyotaro's mad man imagination.
Bro Gokus done shit like this like 10 times at this point. Dragon ball is was and always will be a mid anime with so many inconsistencies and plot holes.
Honestly I don’t get how people don’t like this arc and granolah, the break in action of goku and vegeta seeking different routes for more power as well as the longer time frame really gives namek vibes and I love it
I feel like a lot of people haven't actually read it themselves and take opinions from others. Also waiting a month for a chapter annoyed people, and when a mediocre chapter dropped it seemed really mediocre because now you have to wait another month.
The arc is pretty decent up until the last quarter. Moro transforms, and all the training vegeta did up until that point was rendered pointless. There were tonnes of great setups for an interesting final quarter, but all of them were messed up in the end. I think this arc had the potential to be one of the best in dragon ball history. Sadly, it failed to reach that potential. This is all just my opinion, of course.
@@nukefuel6757 I agree with you to an extent. I felt the same until I read it again and saw Vegeta, Uub, Meerus and the Kai were the MVPs. Since I haven't had time to read the manga, and this shit may never be animated, you really are the continuation of super for me. Thanks so much for doing this with such a high level of competence for language and storytelling (and the great edits of the pages for story flow!)
Thank you so much! It means a lot that you watch my content, (and noticed the use of my language in it as well lol.) I’ll continue to keep pushing so you can get caught up on it all. Not sure if you saw it, but I plan to redo my Granolah Arc video as well. 🔥
I think Blueberry, one of Frieza's attendant, is a former Angel turned mortal, just like Merus in this arc. She's been shown to be mysterious, and is the only one of Frieza's subordinates, that doesn't show Fear towards the Galactic tyrant, like at all. Her demeanor is almost similar to the Angels, even seems as knowledgeable as one. The coloring in this arc gives her a similar look with the hair and skin color, but slightly altered because of her age. We learn in this Arc that Angels-in-Training, are susceptible to gaining certain ideologies while they spend their time in the mortal realm. Just as Merus gained a strong sense of Justice, it's possible that an Angel-in-Training can gain a much darker ideology. Which would be reasonable enough for the Grand Priest to have to remove their Angel Powers and immortality.
Justin. My guy. You’re so good at this💯 Your summaries are thorough, and your delivery is flawless. Keep it up homie. We really enjoy and appreciate your content 🙏🏾
I think both the Moro and Granolah arcs showcase two important aspects of Toyotaro, one positive and one negative. First, that he sees the potential of exploring certain parts of the lore (the Grand Supreme Kai, and the whole selling planets part of Freezer's empire), and how it's possible to build up something great. But it also shows that you can easily see when he got on a blank (when Moro absorbs 7-3, and when Gas gets his wish, respectively), and the story thus plummets in quality.
I dunno Moro absorbing 7-3 was good honestly. Cell Moro kinda grew on me. And Ultra Instinct Goku vs 7-3 Moro is one of the most satisfying beatdowns in the series. And probably Toyotaro’s best fight he’s ever drawn. Planet Moro was also pretty unique and fun set piece.
This was a great way to use this as a means as an audiobook for the manga. Loved every minute of this including the added music to fit the moments of drama! ❤❤❤
Very good job on this. I've wanted to read the manga for myself but I'm not able to at this time. So thank you for delivering the excitement I was looking for in this video!
Vegeta taking accountability for what he did to namekians was a nice touch to the story. Im glad vegeta decided to help them cuz he knew he had to for his pride and honor of helping them
I know people already said this but I love vegeta’s character growth, he constantly trying to save the namekians then visibly very angry seeing them dead in this arc
Justin, you post daily videos and arc recaps, really help me so I don’t have to read and read, you inspire me to do this someday, would love to try and make some fanart of your pfp, if that’s alright, also hope you have an amazing day or afternoon, you mustin never be him, but always be justin 😂 SERIOUSLY, huge props and I’ll try and make it to the premiere. ❤
I really appreciate you man! Thanks so much for the compliments. I’m really glad I can help you out when it comes to the Dragon Ball recaps! Fan art is definitely appreciated too! ❤️🔥
I think the funniest part is that Piccolo is weirdly right XD Like, Vegeta consistently understands how dangerous people are, even way back when he first landed on Earth. He accurately judged that the Earthlings hid their power levels, that Nappa should dodge the Kienzan/Destructo Disk, that Goku was waaaay stronger than he looked even without the scouter, etc. He knew Freeza could transform, but he literally couldn't possibly know to what extent. And hell, he really _could_ have defeated Perfect Cell with the Final Flash after getting him to not move - he just didn't realize Cell could regenerate. Vegeta's problem is he always assumes he can still win. 😂
Bro tysm for making this I read this in the manga a while ago and couldn’t even remember what happened, I feel like watching stuff like this is alot better, it was like watching a movie, you have gained a new subscriber
Greatest video I ever watched, ive always been too lazy to read DBS manga myself but this is so entertaining it feels like im watching the anime again haha Thanks for this bro!
Thank you so much for making this video! As a totally blind person i am unable to read the manga, so to have someone tell it in an audio book format is amazing! Thank you!
This arc is arguably the best arc in super. 10x better than TOP. It's a damn shame that Toei isn't animating this, at least not anytime in the near future due to Daima. Although I'm game for new IPs, this arc is just that good. It's really well received by the community too, so it's very odd for them to put this on hold
The reason why the DBS manga is better than the anime is because it has the SAME writer... Akira Toriyama and his assistant Toyotaro are the only ones writing this story. Whereas in the anime, Toei has many different writers writing different episodes which caused inconsistencies... they were just following a blueprint of main points to hit by Akira Toriyama who also was forced to change certain things in the manga that were in the anime.
This was the first time I heard this arc through the end and I see why people say that it’s one of the better super arcs. My favorite arc of super without a doubt. Glad this is how I learned about it.
This arc started so well. Everyone had a use, even yamcha got some limelight. YAMCHA! But they dropped the ball hard near the end making Moro a knock off Cell and going back to "Hit The Enemy Harder" tactics. It was genuinely interesting to see an enemy that couldn't just be overpowered through strength but i guess Toyotaro wrote himself into a corner when moro absorbed 73.
I mean, not really, the entire arc was written towards Goku attaining MUI. If anything, he wrote himself into a corner by making Vegeta a hardcounter to Moro with FSF, because now Moro needs to get even stronger beyond that so the heroes actually need MUI to handle Moro.
@ProtoTypeFM im saying how, in every previous arc, the other warriors are made irrelevant from the start. when was the last time we saw tien and yamcha fight together? Or buu being actually useful against another magic user. Everyone had their moment in this arc, not just Goku. Still believe he wrote himself in a corner any which way because how do you defeat an enemy that'll sap you energy every time you attack anyway? Thats why the Buu bit got me so much. Finally, Buu having multiple uses (showing uub how to use God ki with his kai form) just so much given attention to the side characters(not a bad thing) that the main story felt like a state of limbo because it got too out of hand.
@@JustSaiyanDude That's not what I'm arguing. I'm saying MUI being the thing to beat Moro was very obvious from very early on in the arc. It definitely wasnt an instance of the author writing himself into a corner (especially given that the outline for the entire arc is given by Toriyama ahead of time).
@ProtoTypeFM Morors' entire thing was that you can't hit him or he absorbs damage and uses it against you. Ki or otherwise, so with this being Goku and Vegetas main thing, if he wasn't written into a corner, why did we need A. Vegeta to learn FSF (something im positive will never come into effect again) B. Moro is absorbing 73 and angel Merus when he's supposed to be unparalleled in magic, not fighting. Makes the final battle another DBZ fight instead of something different like the rest of the arc And C. I love Uub, but let's admit it, aside from one panel of Goku mentioning a kid somewhere in the world who he wants to train with, there was no introduction to him. He was there to save the day and then disappeared for who knows how many more years. It's not the best way to end an arc.
@@JustSaiyanDude "Morors' entire thing was that you can't hit him or he absorbs damage and uses it against you." That's not at all how Moros absorbtion works, did you actually read the manga? You're just naming the beats of the plot my guy, that's not what writing yourself into a corner means. He didn't "need" any of those storybeats, he simply thought they would make for a good story (and he was right)
Well done mate, that was awesome. Great to see Vegeta be a hero in saving live and spirits. Would love to see him get more glory man’s work pretty hard for it.
Hands down the best arc in DBS. I hope this gets turned into an anime. I have to give you props for doing a phenomenal job covering this entire arc it was an enjoyable way to revisit this I haven’t read it since it was being released.
This is a great arc that reminds me of dbz lol it's amazing how many were involved in trying to save the earth. I really want to see the anime adapt this & maybe extend certain scenes such as goku & meerus's training at least that way would make more sense how meerus influenced goku which may explain goku giving moro the senzu beans you get me? 😂
I really enjoy the tidbits of Jaco in this arc. When he calls out Saganbo for his submission to Moro, his lines about going down with the ship and his motvations for becoming a Galactic Patrol Agent, he usually comes across a bit cowardly, lazy, and self-centered, and he's usually way out of his depth in DBS, but there's some real bravery and determination in him.
Yo this was so good dude. I love this whole thing I know it’s not your manga of course but you reading it for us saves me time and gives me something to look forward too. Give us super season 2!!!!!
@@justinsden Haha for sure! I like some other channels but they have the worst narration because they didn't learn good grammar or pronunciation. It's atrocious for someone like me. A little thing for some, but when it's mostly an audio listening experience, it's a big deal.

Thank you so much! It means a lot that you watch my content, (and noticed the use of my language in it as well lol.) I’ll continue to keep pushing so you can get caught up on it all. Not sure if you saw it, but I plan to redo my Granolah Arc video as well. 🔥
This was way more interesting than I thought. Well done. Are they planning on animating this arc?
Thank you! Nobody knows for sure. We’re all hoping the answer is “Yes”.
What’s this shit about sayians not being able to survive in the vacuum of space but yet we’ve witnessed countless fights literally in space
Bad super writing...
In Canon and not in GT?
Your story telling is astonishing my brother. You really have worked hard on this, and I hope it turned out successful
Thanks so much bro!
All the other angels seem pretty perfect in appearance to me. I think it’s pretty unlikely considering how old she looks I highly doubt it.
Justin. My guy. You’re so good at this💯 Your summaries are thorough, and your delivery is flawless. Keep it up homie. We really enjoy and appreciate your content 🙏🏾
Appreciate that bro. Thank you so much fr. I'm glad you're enjoying the content. 🙏🏾
Toriyama left the series in great hands.
This was a great way to use this as a means as an audiobook for the manga. Loved every minute of this including the added music to fit the moments of drama! ❤❤❤
He’s too good at commentary
Thanks so much man! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you!
Very good job on this. I've wanted to read the manga for myself but I'm not able to at this time. So thank you for delivering the excitement I was looking for in this video!
Thank you! I try to make the videos as exciting as possible for viewers! I appreciate you!
Vegeta taking accountability for what he did to namekians was a nice touch to the story. Im glad vegeta decided to help them cuz he knew he had to for his pride and honor of helping them
I enjoyed this very much! Thank you!
WOW this is AMAZING! Thank you so much!! ❤️🔥
"Vegeta's never been one to misread his opponents."
Are you absolutely sure about that Piccolo??
Superb narration, if this video doesn’t deserve a like, I don’t know what does he did a phenomenal job
Thank you!
@@justinsdenit’s all good! This arc recap would be one of my top 3,❤
Moroe is insane like literally loving the horrible screams and pain of the beings he's eating
i still think Piccolo's assessment that "Vegeta has never been one to misread an opponents strength" is the funniest shit ever
More like he overestimated himself.
I think the funniest part is that Piccolo is weirdly right XD
Like, Vegeta consistently understands how dangerous people are, even way back when he first landed on Earth.
dude straight up just copied a comment above word for word minus one line and thought nobody would notice
Bro tysm for making this I read this in the manga a while ago and couldn’t even remember what happened, I feel like watching stuff like this is alot better, it was like watching a movie, you have gained a new subscriber
Thanks so much bro!
Thank you for this well detailed and Narrated story of the Moro Arc, kinda kept this on the backburner cause i wanted to wait for it to be animated.
You’re so welcome! Let’s hope we can see it animated one day soon! Thank you for watching!
Greatest video I ever watched, ive always been too lazy to read DBS manga myself but this is so entertaining it feels like im watching the anime again haha
Thanks for this bro!
Thanks so much!
I think sometimes people dont realize how much of the Z-fighters are made up of Goku's former enemies.😂
Thank you so much for making this video! As a totally blind person i am unable to read the manga, so to have someone tell it in an audio book format is amazing! Thank you!
You're very welcome! Not sure how the message was typed up, but I appreciate you! 🔥❤️
Instant transmission must be one of the most OP and useful technique in the show but nobody cares to learn it
Sat thru the whole hour+, awesome work!!!
Thanks bro! I appreciate that! 🙏🏾
Ngl can you do narrations like this for ever manga coz I’m obsessed
Lol I appreciate you. I’m covering all of the Dragon Ball series right now, and afterward, I’m gonna move on to Naruto/Bleach. 🔥
@@justinsden w I can’t wait imma binge watch all of these in the meantime
if this gets animated my god its gonna break the internet again
This got me glued up to the screen, thank you so much
Glad to hear! Thank you so much!
It’s a shame we won’t get to see this get animated 😭
Really
We will, but not yet
after DB Daima this needs to be adapted sadly probably 2026 :/
Is that confirmed ?
@@UnbrokenWillll I’m just assuming since the next anime will be called “Dragon Ball Daima”.
I love the parallel of Goku and Vegeta needing to utilize calm to help achieve new levels of power.
@@bebemax95ehhh, I still say the anime version of ToP is superior.
@@bebemax95why tho? Can’t Akita toriyama build his own studio of anime writers to animate the manga?
Really enjoyed this upload thank you
I appreciate you! Thanks so much for watching!
One of my favourite UA-camrs on the platform rn. Keep up the good work Justin.🙏🔥
That means the world bro. Will do!
This was the first time I heard this arc through the end and I see why people say that it’s one of the better super arcs. My favorite arc of super without a doubt. Glad this is how I learned about it.
Solid writing, solid arc, solid character representation🔥. Can’t wait to see this animated one day.
Me too
@@MjwaraEspecially after Toriyama’s untimely passing… I want to see more of his characters in a new and lively way.. 😔

Wow, thank you! That means a lot! 🔥 Welcome to the community!
I loved the music choice at the end amazing vid man
Im glad you commented this! I loved it too!! Thank you! ❤️
Ki or otherwise, so with this being Goku and Vegetas main thing, if he wasn't written into a corner, why did we need
A. Vegeta to learn FSF (something im positive will never come into effect again)
B. Moro is absorbing 73 and angel Merus when he's supposed to be unparalleled in magic, not fighting. Makes the final battle another DBZ fight instead of something different like the rest of the arc
And C. I love Uub, but let's admit it, aside from one panel of Goku mentioning a kid somewhere in the world who he wants to train with, there was no introduction to him. He was there to save the day and then disappeared for who knows how many more years. It's not the best way to end an arc.
@@JustSaiyanDude "Morors' entire thing was that you can't hit him or he absorbs damage and uses it against you."
That's not at all how Moros absorbtion works, did you actually read the manga?
You're just naming the beats of the plot my guy, that's not what writing yourself into a corner means. He didn't "need" any of those storybeats, he simply thought they would make for a good story (and he was right)
Dude these recaps are amazing, keep up the incredible work
Appreciate the love bro! Keep an eye out for more of these!

The only fully worth Arc to be labelled as "Super"...great feeling, thanks for reviving it.
No problem! Thank you for watching!
This was insanely cool. Thank you so much for all the work you did to bring this to life.
Thank YOU for watching! Glad you enjoyed it!
Most exciting thing that now vegeta can do instant transmission..
Amazing bro i really hope one day somehow they animate this. You did a great job with your video
Thanks man!
Hands down the best arc in DBS. I hope this gets turned into an anime. I have to give you props for doing a phenomenal job covering this entire arc it was an enjoyable way to revisit this I haven’t read it since it was being released.
I appreciate it! Im glad you enjoyed!
Beautifully done Justin!
Thank you!!
We need this animated so badly
❤ Thank u for telling and explaining,,,this story
My pleasure 😊. Thanks for listening
Damn, that was actually really good. Way better than the vast majority of Super.
This arc is so goated, loved this video, it had me on me on the edge of my seat, Huge W

Thank you bro! I'm so glad someone finally acknowledged it lol.
@@justinsden Haha for sure! I like some other channels but they have the worst narration because they didn't learn good grammar or pronunciation. It's atrocious for someone like me. A little thing for some, but when it's mostly an audio listening experience, it's a big deal.
@@GolDiaAWARE I definitely understand that. I appreciate you watching and giving me this feedback for sure!
I actually liked this. It had the creativity and charm of the old arcs, plus every one had their own character moments and the villain was also interesting. Hats off to Super for at least trying this time.
This confirms 2 things for me 1: Uub has the greatest potential in the series. 2: Kid Buu was the strongest Buu
You have a real talent. Thank you for sharing it and my most beloved anime Dragon Ball.
