Even the Academy is a difficult buy for me because compared to the Chinese brands here in SEA areas the quality is far better than the Nike budget offerings. Like for example, I could get a good 361° shoe for around 35$ or 2600 php with lots of great shoe features like a real carbon shank, a plush foam cushion, and a wider outrigger rubber for more stability than the GT Academy that sells here for around 100$ or around 5-6000 php.
this is what I HATE about Nike, why is it their affordable shoe is much more affordable and well done than their MORE EXPENSIVE SHOE? I was able to afford their expensive line (i live in the philippines and nikes were expensive even their affordable line) i have the GT cut 2 and looking forward to the GT cut 3 the reason I like the GT cut line, it reminds me of their low cut kobes

Got the GT cut academy for only 50$ at nikes sale. I hated and dislike Nikes quality but this one is a steal.
