@@2008arizt because I have had reef tanks for almost ten years. Also, I don't know where she lives, but you can buy them on liveaquaria and have them shipped anywhere. Anemones propagate very easily. You literally cut them in half with a razor and after the foot heals, you have 2. Go grill someone else who you think doesn't know what they are talking about.

They're not super rare. A super rare anemone would be more like the Colorado Sunburst.

Its called Rose Bubble Tips. Its a pink/purple and blue . Its really beautiful normal anemones are orange ,coral, maybe white sometimes

These are not rare at all. I have a 15 gallon that’s wall to wall with these things and it all started from one baby. They split like crazy and are super easy to find if you know where to look.

Hell. I just shut down my tank after 30 years and at the end my bubble tips split like crazy and I had about 60 plus rainbows ranging from 1 inch to 4 or more inches.. I wanted to sell off the rainbows but shipping and whatnot is very hard, i ended up selling the tank off as a "lot" to a guy who wouldn't believe me when I told him each one could sell for 60 to a few hundred to the right person.. pretty sure he probably killed them off because he just liked fish only and wanted the lights I had..

They are just regular rainbow bubble tips, almost every reef store carries them. Nice tank tho

Few anemone attach themselves to crabs too. Also there is also a mountain anemone which feeds on lost hikers

Bubbletip anemones are wonderful to have, I started with 3 and now I have 17 of them in my tank. Beautiful to have!
How are they rare when just about every fish store around the country has them I literally just got two of them yesterday for $40.
A lady near me has hundreds of them from hers splitting all the time. Sold me two of them for 40 bucks. They are nice color.

Well that can be a bad thing too. Sometimes they decide to walk over to a powerhead and get vaporized, now you have small pieces of anemone everywhere in the tank and an ammonia spike🤷♂️
Sometimes they also land on other corals while moving around the tank, and because corals are able to sting each other (most of them), you can expect the outcome to not be pretty.
I’ve had loads of these for years? I’m in the UK tho maybe harder to get in the US? But that don’t sound right 🤔
