Yeah, I had these in my frag tank for some time. I’m slowly transitioning corals to other tanks and selling some. I have to take down the three setups on the wall to make room for one big shallow reef tank ;)
This just reminded me how iconic your original video style was. I clicked the video to listen to your voiceover while multitasking and having a quick glimpse at the phones screen now and then. But as soon as I realised that this is an og style video I instantly paused it to put it on my watchlist for big screen time in the evening.
I own the 12G version now called Tidal. Its a very nice tank. I would not use the filtration caddy. The caddy plus 1 filter floss and a bag of the carbon caused filtration issues. Water was near the top of the surface on skim chamber and spilling over to the right side chamber. I combated this by lowering the water level. Well that caused surface skimming to suffer. Which of course meant lowering the pump speed. End result: bad surface skimming. I pulled the caddy out and just place 2 floss and 1 carbon pad at the bottom. Then put the black cover on top. Worked perfectly. I'm not sure if my caddy was the wrong model. But so far I've enjoyed the shallow reef look.
you should add a small island in front for the expensive slow growers and put some bumblebee shrimp in here, maybe a circus goby or barnacle blenny too

I love this because it shows nothing without actually having a reef tank... It was such a bate move. This is not how you do any of this and I'm sure he doesn't know anything about it or he wouldn't have done it this way

I love your UA-cam videos and would be very disheartened if you stopped the voiceover style videos and went back to this no audio shit. At the end of the day it’s your channel to what you want with, I am just trying to provide some viewer feedback

Damn I bought the caddy, did you try cut a corner off the floss? Seen a video that it’s good practice to do so anyways to prevent overflow issues

Very nice zoa setup. I may need to try something similar. I like zoas but don't like how much they spread so don't keep them in my main tanks.
Exactly my thoughts as well, that's why I now have a dedicated tank for them. You should definitely set up a similar tank. ;)
how do you maintain your bone cutter after fraging the corals? mine easily get rust
I rinse it off with freshwater and then dry it. Salt destroys everything haha.

don’t like the hole where the filter goes. when you have take that off for cleaning small fish or fry can get stuck in the back.
These Nano reef tanks are neat, but unless you plan on doing a water change, every single day, get a bigger tank

Analytics show the majority of people prefer the no voice over style. Going forward there will be a mix of both styles on this channel.
