It's kinda ironic how this video has had the opposite effect of making me realize just how family friendly Lego is. If just a bit of blood is the darkest Lego is willing to go, then it isn't dark at all.
That cart one is r e a c h i n g. There's plenty of usages of the word 'procession' that don't refer to funerals or anything macabre at all, from carnival processions to wedding processions. The word for a funeral procession is specifically 'train.' Sure you could interpret that jumble of bits as a body, but it isn't set up in any way that resembles one. What's the white cylinder if the yellow one is a head?
could be a piece of armor, maybe a battered helmet. another interpretation for that cart was that this group of knights was a raiding party, which is where this video was gonna go, too.
a single 1 stud piece representing blood in a set? send it straight to the 18+ Rated R section, cancel lego for being so dark and showing such terrible bloody gore to it's young audience. A centimeter wide red spots on a minifigure? A burn mark ? Unacceptable. this gore is on a game of thrones level at this point, how disturbing and rash of you lego, you really should be ashamed of yourselves at this point. So stomach-turning
18+ sets don’t refer to the set’s content but rather the set’s target audience like the sesame street set is 18+ not because it’s bad for children in any way but that it’s target audience are adults who grew up and have nostalgia for the show
I've heard others interpret the "knights procession" set as something macabre, but I just don't buy it. If the intention was for it to be a dead guy, they would have put a casket or minifig torso on there, or maybe an urn of ashes. It's just supplies in complementary colors.
2 things to add. 1. The brown stains on the shirts are old dried blood... blood when dried on clothing goes brown. 2. The punisher show isn't cancled, it was placed on hold and we've recently been told there will be a new series and movie. So thats good because that punisher was perfect.
If you reeeally wanted to make Knight's Procession in that way... well the set comes with six minfigs, just take one apart and put their pieces in the cart!!
Couldn't find anything in your description where you give credit to RetroBlasting for literally copying the Knights Procession theory WORD FOR WORD. Good job stealing content.
Oh wow. I checked RetroBlasting's video to see if you were exaggerating, and it really does seem copied. Not exactly word for word, but there are some very specific phrases in there that seem too coincidental.
@@seanrrr Yeah, I agree, maybe not word for word, but some phrases match so much that it's definitely copied. He could've easily reshuffled the sentences.
Whenever I see these lists of dark details or inclusions in Lego sets, I’m surprised no one really mentions the riddler in the 2022 The Batman set for the movie, because he’s canonically a literal serial killer.
funny thing about the punisher. When the daily bugle set came out and was put on display at lego stores, the punisher minifig was not allowed to be displayed with the set. I know because I used to work at a lego store.
@user-vp8sm4lw1p we still see their corpse, which is what the block with eyes represents. There's also a scene where a couple of cars fall off the back of a ship and get shredded up by the propellers complete with scrap getting kicked up in the oil stained whitewater.
For the red blood from Bionicle’s Pridak: Greg Farshtey, one of the Bionicle storywriter, stated that Pridak’s red markings are a part of his shark mutations. But knowing Bionicle’s dark plot, his answer is probably just a PR answer.
Same is said about guns. Batman Sets back then had guns and even Star Wars Sets has guns since they also had no gun policy as well (im sure im forgetting other big Sets Series)

thr creator of pridak (bionicle) actually did a video on his design. yes that is meant to be blood, pridak is was based off a shark and a piranha and was violent.
Deadpool and Punisher were released based off of a different license so despite being rated R or MA they were under the Marvel Superheroes banner not their show and movie franchise banner allowing them to be used
But Deadpool was already extremely brutal and bloody in the comics. There is also a Lobo (DC) figure in the set number 76096. Lobo is also very brutal in the comics.
i get the feeling this guy doesn't read many comics since the Punisher show wasn't particularly brutal for the character and Deadpool has done way worse stuff in the comics
Hey Spitbricks. A video i would love to see is a collection of some of the highest praised sets. Not biggest or anything like that but sets from across legos history that are incredibly well regarded. Maybe reaching out to other content creators and finding out which sets they think are the best. idk but it would be cool to see.
Lego really needs to release a Halloween lego set, the number of kids I've seen who know exactly who Michael Myers is, there's alot, I've seen small kids who dress as art the clown.... kid friendly isn't what it used to mean
Just looking at your likes to views ratio it looks like I'm not the only person that thinks this. If lego took any advice from you we would have pretty boring sets.
I never noticed that wormtail has a silver hand when I was building the set I just thought it would be a normal one IK that there are the pieces that come in the culdron (idk how to write it but yk what I mean)
The biggest 18+ feature of LEGO sets is the price.
Apparently, not only Lego, of course. Check out Chinese art toys, especially with the big sizes, some of them cost even thousands of dollars
Ye
I bet Lego will make a giant 1x1 stud that is like 300 bucks
Yeah LOL i bought a 250€ set when i was 8 lmao
Edit it was 18+
Also how complex it is to build

There is a yellow cylinder under the white one thats hard to see, so the white is probably an arm.
Also, red, yellow, and blue are primary colors. Not very unique to the knights' colors.
I'm pretty sure there was a video linking that set to a specific incident during the Crusades.
Also just because it’s a funeral doesn’t mean it’s not kid-friendly.
i mean just cause theres blood it doesn't mean it should be 18+
Edit: man this got way more attention than i thought it would
Yeah ik like ive been seing blood since 3 or 4 years old
By medical understanding, yes. It's not limited to 18+.
Hey chill he's making a funny video watch it or were gonna have a problem 😂😁😃😅😈
Pg13 movies from the 90s just straight up murdered kids lmao
EXCELLENT WORK. SPITBRIX LEGO GRUESOME SETS 18+
That lego funeral cart reminded me of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". You know. "Bring out your dead!"

You know that clip of Spongebob and Patrick on the roller coaster, and they scream over the single small bump? Yeah, that.
Technically the majority of monster fighters could be.
Ghosts - spirits of DEAD people
Zombies - unDEAD people
Rare Monster Fighters mention
I'm surprise they haven't ever recreated the Mongolian "corpse cannon", used to launch infected bodies. What a fun idea for a weapon.
They'd probably use a chicken cannon as a PG replacement. Concept would be launch chicken and it fly-lands. Comedic enough to hide the truth.
Aren't there already 18+ sets?
I think.

Those red clips in the Orthanc dungeon could just be the meat still clinging to the bones of the Warg victims. Still, very gruesome.
If anything, that just makes it sound more gruesome than just blood.
That's not gruesome. It's LEGO. Grow up.
One of the sets for Cars 2 features a suspicious cube with eyes. If Cars 2 took place in the human world it would be a completely different movie.
At the beginning of Cars 2, it's revealed that one car was crushed into a cube of scrap. Basically killed, albeit off screen.
