I had a Saltwater tank growing up! And in our basement, below the tank, my dad made a whole water change system system. It wasn't high-tech, but it was fun to change the water with my dad! One day when I'm out of college I will have a tank again
I had a huge reef tank years ago with a rose anemone. With frequent water changes and the clownfish feeding it the anemone can get gigantic. My anemone reached a width of over 3 feet when fully opened, it was awesome. Sadly I had to sell everything when I moved. 😢
I took the wrong advice when I got my first tank, everyone’s like “get a big tank it’s easier to maintain, dilution is the solution blah blah blah” but it’s so much of a pain in the ass to make up water and clean the whole thing that I got lazy and never ended up doing it That and it’s so much more expensive and when I left it too late to start dosing and my parameters were all over the place it was way harder to get everything in check than it would’ve been with a small tank because the biggest water change I can do is like 10%
Nice anemone, love the color and if I were a clownfish, it would make me very happy. Great that your tanks are selling, it's a good idea to start small. George thanks for the update, always good to see you.
His tanks might be selling because he deletes every single review that he isn’t in full agreement with. I’ve been sent 2 lights neither work and he’s claimed to have sent another but it’s been weeks now. We’ve had the tank almost 2 months. Wish he wouldn’t delete reviews off his website, someone else had left a 2 star review in addition to mine and both are now gone. Sad
@JustinR714, Call his mom, lol. But in all seriousness consider emailing a heartfelt message like you shared with me, (without the accusation of removing negative reviews), and request a response a.s.a.p. While there is no excuse, George has himself stretched a bit thin imho, but business practice is paramount and must be done with the most care. Good luck, hope it all works out!
That would be great if we lived in actual reality but when dealing with George you simply aren’t in reality. I’m not sure in what world a company can charge as much as he did and then almost 2 FULL months later we still have no light from him. And no you’re wrong there, him deleting reviews should be known. It influences people that go to his website and see nothing but glowing 5 star reviews so they think “oh cool I’ll buy this setup!” In Reality, how many reviews are deleted. Mine as well as another customer of his had the same issue happen. The tank is cheap, wholesale from China with his logo stamped on the front which I suppose justifies the massive price tag. At the end of the day the kids making maybe, and I’m being generous, $150 off each tank set up. I informed him if he deleted comments I’d be disputing the charge as he is not responding to anything anymore. This has been on going for weeks, my review was to inform others of our experience in dealing with him and everything that’s transpired. It’s entirely relevant to the convo, I tried with this kid for a long while, I was more than kind to him. I have all the emails to prove it. At a certain point he decided to act like a used car salesman, took our money and bounced when there was a legitimate issue. But, you know, “UA-cam stars” can be tough to reach!
Sounds like you really have tried everything, sorry it's been a very disappointing process. You have every right at this point to speak out, still hope he comes through, but if not you should contact your Credit card for a legitimate refund.
Hey George! I love your videos! it’s super knowledgeable and fun to watch.. Of you don’t mind me asking what salt do you use for your saltwater station..??
My hypothesis: The anemone doesn't actually offer that much protection. A bit of cover but not really protection. The anemone is actually the real beneficiary. Butterflyfish love to eat anemones. Clownfish will not tolerate butterflyfish or any other fish near their anemone. The anemone wins! Cheers, Chris
I've always had freshwater setups with live plants and all it's been about five years since I closed down my last tank and been wanting to get back into the hobby again lately but kind of want to try a saltwater reef setup. I know soon as I get into it, I have a habit of going all in and go right from a smaller setup to a big overkill setup lol so do I start small and work my way up or should I just go all in and build out a big tank!? I've never done anything saltwater, but I do have some friends that do and always have admired their setups, so I think it's time to do one of my own.
Dont wanna be that guy tho believe it is important when educating public keep in mind i love the channel and i mostly learn alot from it.the information is not accurate...Hermaphrodite does not mean born without a sex..it means born with both sex organs male and female.... Clownfish are different they are protandrous Hermaphrodites .. When the female dies, the dominant male changes sex and becomes the female, a change which is irreversible. This life history strategy is known as sequential hermaphroditism. Because clownfish are all born as males, they are protandrous hermaphrodites.
I have freshwater fish that I have had for over 10 years now I love saltwater wish I could afford one of his tanks it the perfect size. Maybe one day in the future Ill have myself a saltwater tank.
Gorgeous. I've been wanting to start an aquarium for so long now...a full and proper one. I've had betas which lived for years as well as some goldies, but I'd love to start a nano tank with just two clown fish, lady deadpool and wolverine would be their names...but I do really want to name a fish I'm mary Poppins yall....small dreams. Lol aquariums are so amazing especially for mental health and I think the only thing that was stopping me was because I know myself and that once I start, I'm going deep in lol
Beautiful fish and I love the size of the tank. Seems manageable. I always hear though that the tanks should have a cover to avoid evaporation and maintain consistent temp. Thoughts? I would love to have a saltwater tank some day. I have a couple fresh water tanks and a 3,500 gallon Koi pond in my garden, but going salt water makes me nervous about care and cost, funny enough. -Cheers from Seattle!
you should come to the Philippines one day, if you do however. Go to the cartimar pet center in pasay manila they have so many stalls with so many fish and other animals like reptiles and birds
Eyo George does your saltwater kit ship globally? Lots of companies dont ship where I live. Ive really wanted to get into saltwater. I remember the orange rim tank geting set up originally xd
I just saw a random tiktok of a old video of yours I have no clue who you are I just know that it said you were from appleton wisconsin and thought that was wierd but cool to see someone from appletons UA-cam
Hi George! I love your videos and your tank’s always come out flawless! I would love to win one of your aquarium giveaways! It has always been a dream of mine to own one!

Hope you can have another setup in the near future. 🧡
Great to see an update on the home tanks! Loved the video George!

I recommend mixing your water overnight and heating it up to the same temperature as your aquarium water.
Did you somewhere manage to heat that water being just dumping it in?

Love these vids! More of them!!
Do you have a video going over your water storage system? How was it setup and the equipment you used?
Never listen to a reefer that can't say Anemone. George is the only one I've heard say it right. Shows attention to detail.
Lol I've never heard anyone say it wrong. What do they say when they do say it wrong?
How about nem?
@@rondavis2791a lot of people say “anenome” instead of “anemone”
It’s the only way I’ve ever heard it be pronounced 😂
I wonder if Nemo was named after anemone.
can't believe this man invented a real life nemo
Great video and to see you again. Can’t wait to see what you have in store (and in stock) for 2024!
George, you're so cool
Thanks :) you seem cool too
1:00 how often do you replace that par bulb?
What light are you running on the anemone tank??
Love your vids George
You inspired me to start my channel 😊
Hey George! I love your videos! it’s super knowledgeable and fun to watch.. Of you don’t mind me asking what salt do you use for your saltwater station..??
what is the pellet food you use? i'd like to feed my oscellaris and my snow storm clown the pellet food.
Loved the video. Tell me about the light over your anemone.
Can someone please tell me what tank this is 1:34

It does tho... It stings other fish that would predate on the clownfish
What lighting and maintenance routine are you using with this tank?
Love the videos!!!
I’ve had clowns for maybe 4+ years and can’t explain the attachment you gain raising clowns
“Fishy fun” channel says awesome video!!!
My hermit crab feeds it anemones on its shell 🐠🤘
The most famous clownfish behind Nemo

Hi George. Do u ship ur starter kit to Singapore?
Hi sir how many days once you do the water change in your marine aquarium?
Please make a video of u filling the tank up with corals 🙏 🙏 🙏
surly you can ship you aquariums to australia for extra 🙏
Shoot us your address and we can get a quote run! support@coralfish12g.com
What salt do u use?
Did you build that water thing? It’s so nice!
My friends the Gingerbread twins did! It’s the best, definitely a life saver for making water changes easier!
What if the flower that the clown fish lives doesn’t let the clownfish let it be it’s home?
Cool video
Nice bro
