I strongly hope the map of GTA 6 ends up having a panhandle! Having a Rockstar title with such a massive map would be a dream! I wonder how accurate the mapping project is 🤔

Kris, these aren't accurate to scale comparisons...Because the 2002 Vice City map would look much MUCH smaller next to the GTA VI map, the scale measurements are inaccurate; because once you pinpoint the location of Ocean View hotel on both maps, you'll notice the Ocean View hotel in the 2002 VC map looks 3-4 times bigger than itself in VI map in the version you just showed...
See what I mean?
Cuz once you equalise the area size of Ocean View hotel in both maps, Vice Beach ALONE in the GTA VI map will end up looking bigger than the entire 2002 VC map ...yup, check it out... that's how big it is
I did a much closer comparison edit on my phone, but that was weeks ago at version 43/44

It looks like they’ll be going the San Andreas route, which is exciting since it could be considered the perfect GTA map! We’ll have to wait and see, but it looks promising! 🙏

Hopefully the gta 6 map lives up to the nature of what we are looking for and that it includes Georgia and Alabama plus eventually places like Las Ventures and a gta version of the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon

I hope the GTA 6 map will be good enough and the countryside better have more fun to explore and not be empty space like GTA 5 with its mountains.

I keep forgetting how really small Liberty City from GTA 4 is compared to other maps. I hope that if GTA 6 online does have map expansions that Liberty City would return with the expanded countryside of the state of Liberty and that Alderney City that is close by would return with a country side and maybe another city in the state of Alderney.
