I have 1 pro controller and 2 sets of joycons and I've never had drift like everyone is talking about. I mean I've had a slight drift before but the calibration settings fixed it just right
You asked about stuff similar to rubber band trick soooo... When I was like 12 I used my Lego robotics kit to make a robot that would click the mouse every few seconds. I used it as crude and overcompicated clickbot in runescape to pick up mind runes in lumbridge.
Kendell Adams I’ve bought three pairs. I’ve never mishandled my switch and never been rough with my joy cons and yet they all started drifting after a similar amount of time. It’s a hardware problem, not the players...
@@sillaykara6245 I agree, but it's a bit of both, some joycons are faultier and drift more easily than others. My friend has had their switch for a bit longer than me, and plays far more aggressively, but haven't had their joycons drift yet, while mine, which I'm very careful with do. But my other friend who's had their switch the same amount of time I've had it, is also very rough and has drift. It all just depends
Honestly the first trick isn’t even that useful for sword and shield because the eggs hatch SUPER quick when you have a Pokémon with flame body in your party and it takes longer and is more irritating to undo the rubber bands to check its stats, or grab a new egg and stuff than just manually biking in circles.
Well I’m pretty sure it’s for shiny hunting, I personally don’t check stats when shiny hunting since I have tons of Bottle caps and candies so I can hyper train my Pokémon’s stats. You don’t really have to take off the rubber band by the way you can keep it on, I moved around while it was on and I had no trouble. I think this method is good for when you are watching videos and you want to have small intermissions so you can understand and enjoy the video.
Bruh this channel is so underrated from telling us quick and easy tips to Linking literally everything like rubber bands in the description I salute you guys
If you use something called electrical contact cleaner ( you can find it on amazon or hardware stores for like $7) it works like a charm to fix joycon drift. Spray it under the little "skirt" on the joystick, circle the stick around a few times, then leave it for like 5 minutes. It doesn't always work, but it's worth a shot!
If you don't like the thought of adhesive on your switch, you could also always get one of the suction cup animals I always see at checkouts too. I've been using one for a couple months on a switch light, and have not noticed any deformation of the plastic from being under suction all the time in the same spot.
So nervous for that poor Switch on the treadmill at @5:35. It'd be interesting but I wouldn't really wanna bring my Switch to the gym. Maybe a home treadmill.
Extra hack Attach two pop sockets on a case for your switch, then use the sticky pop mounts on your wall to turn it into a mountable mini switch tv. Did this with my phone and it works great
The best switch hack I've done was switching out the dock internals into the BASSTOP dock. Its the best thing ever. So much easier to bring your dock with you, and it also doubles as a fantastic stand for your switch.
My most annoying thing is the constant disconnecting joy cons while in handheld. It's clean it's immaculate. Only a year old . Happens very frequently.
If you guys didn’t know and u like shiny hunting on 3Ds, use rubber bands to keep the left and right triggers down if your fingers are tired of holding them
No clue if you still have the Slime covered beanie...but lol pour some vinegar on to it. it'll break the slime down [or at least it should] as slime is typically made from some sort of glue, whether clear glue, school glue or, glue all [Elmer's glue]. Then just toss it in the wash after wiping most if not all of the melted slime off it!
That switch treadmill idea is kinda genius! I go on 30km runs on the treadmill due to the winter right now so playing switch while foing that would be kinda sick
Who else pre ordered the animal crossing switch limited edition bundle with tote bag and switch case 🤚🏽🤚🏽 SO EXCITED 🥰 I’m binging all of the switch vids
The Amazon stand for the switch is uber useful, and the notches are also good for holding your cords you might not be using. I'm talking about the foldable one that is literally like.. 12 dollars at most
Ok I used the rubber band trick on super paper Mario on world 2 you brake a vase and you need to get money to replace which takes a while if you don’t look up the code for the vault that has enough to replace it but until I found out about social media it was a pain to wait for it to be done
How to create joy-con drift: tie rubber-bands around the thumb sticks

You should play Ring Fit Adventure, on the treadmill.

Nice!
When you've had your switch for over a year and your kickstand is still fine.
Emerald SSBU I’ve gone through 4 kickstands :(
it's called taking care of your switch.
myne is fine came of once or twice but thats all went right back on ive had my switch for over a year now
Good thing I only play docked
I had mine for 2 years and still have the same kickstand from when i got it and its still in really good condition

And technically the joycons have the feature already,

Davinder Kaur I guess everyone likes things different. For me I tried this and it was very counterintuitive even for shiny hunting.
I love how when he was running on the treadmill, talking about how you can play it while you run, the Switch is just flopping back and forth lmao
I saw that and it gave me sweats
Cycling works very well though. I’ve watched my boyfriend cycle happily for the length of a Binding of Isaac game, so 30-45 mins. Do not do outdoors.
I would definitely love a “weird switch setups” video/series... treadmill setup, in-bed setup, setup in the car...
That’s cool

I use a can of air to blow out debris and dust from my analog sticks. Also, keep your Switch in a case. Keeps dust from building up.

That treadmill tip would work so well with Breath of the Wild!
Also to note, if you are gonna use a Popsocket, don't use a knockoff Popsocket because they use a 3M adhesive and it leaves residue if you remove it
