That's got all the stuff I'd want without being too fussy or frilly ... probably the best I've seen for the single camper like myself. Good job, Coachmen.
I really like that floorplan and it may have a couple plus points over the same Travato floor plan. I do wish Coachmen and others would stop forcing a non-oven microwave on us. My personal preference would be for a cassette toilet over the blank tank. Nice tour!
Thanks Amy. ***??? Did you see this video I did, Camper Van STAYCATION, South Florida - Spirits, Butterflies, History ua-cam.com/video/nLhU1LFau8c/v-deo.html
I like a lot about this one and happy to see a reasonable price for a battery coach...I love the awning windows, the shower door and the improved sink design. Cabinets are attractive, as well.
It’s a coach with lovely cabinets that are well built. Wish they didn’t block so much of side entry. It also has a decent fresh water tank. The clearance of the truma AC is nice for taller individuals.
Love the white interior, Scott! Needs a convection microwave and some more under the bed storage. I would consider this one because of the rear bath. Thanks, Scott! Keep on keepin' on!
Thank you Scott! I went to watch you live but I got thrown off line with the storm here in Vegas. But I just rewatched recap and I think this isn’t quite so bad of a class B. Just don’t like the microwave too low. Thank you Scott for showing this Nova. Hope you had a great holiday Christmas and New Year! Great video and have a great night! See you soon!
1) I presume that the windows are dual-pane, which is a huge benefit worth noting. 2) The privacy shade that goes up is so much better than the pull down one, 3) I see that Coachmen did the same thing as the Travato KL: putting the lithium and controller under the sleeping area. Folks with EM sensitivity have complained about this.
If you go to 7:49 you will see a jumble of wires. Always check the wiring, it should be marked and neatly organized. It’s almost an art form if done correctly.
I love the look of the van and I would have bought that instead of a Travato KL because of VOLTA. But I'm actually having an issue with my Volta system now. Need to get a contact at Volta to discuss. I won't be at the RV show.
Great review and the Nova's have very nice cabinets. Issue we did not like with these coaches was related to the table for between the driver and and passenger seats. When table is in place, maneuvering around it (especially for the driver) is very tight.
Nice van and with the electrical system one can camp off grid for quite some time. The windows are the best I have seen, allowing a lot of fresh air.. Only question, does it have a spare tire? I have notices that many Class B vans no longer come with a spare. Having just trashed a tire, a 1/2" gash making it not reparable, in Death Valley I was so happy to have a spare so I could continue to the campsite and then find a new tire the next day. Enjoy your station.
I love when you do the van tours thanks a lot just wondering if when you do them you can show the drawers to see if they're dovetailed or not thank you
Hello Scott: Thanks for the excellent review. Being a CoachMen owner myself I am familiar with this subject. White cabinets look great but wear HORRIBLY given our Beyond cabinets starting peeling and discoloring within a few months. The fact is if you spill any water maybe from a dog bowl you will be very SORRY that you ordered White cabinets. Overall I would give our 2021 Class B maybe a quality rating of 5 or 6 out of 10. WARNING...the part about having White cabinets INSIDE the Rear Bath should give you pause.... Other problem areas included sliding windows, window cover frames, door screen, drawer latches all broke in 1st year, most usbs broke in 1st year, and especially*** the DC A/C which they did replace under warranty. I do love this Rear Bath layout but keep in mind it's at the expense of a full size Refrigerator and good size freezer which you get with other layouts. The 600 AmpHour Lithium setup is nice and the multiplex wiring and touchscreens are pretty cool. Again, the white cabinet selection was the biggest mistake I made on this purchase. Usually 2 other wood choices are available..do those! When looking at purchasing a Class B the other big selection criteria is do you want the Ford, Mercedes, or Dodge? Think about it.
Great review and like the Coachman quality. Having to move the slinky is a bad design in my opinion..... But I would also like to see a water tight wet bath and the wardrobe area replaced with a garage and only accessible from the back doors.
Thanks for the tour video I really like the drawer cabinet at the foot of the passenger bed but this must shorten that bed vs the Travato where one of the twins is 6” longer. If you dont need the bed length the extra cabinet drawers and waste basket drawer is great. Lots of storage missing under the passenger bed as compared to Travato where we use that storage for large items. Is the fresh water tank inside under the passenger bed? The screens appear to be bug resistant than the accordion type window screens.
Need to see the Coachman Ford Beyond version 22RB with AWD - with the same layout. With cozy wrap in walls for insulation and tanks inside with gas generator or Li3 - pretty close to an all weather van. The Beyonds have not been on too many showroom floors. They are gone as soon as they hit the dealers.
like this set up but would like the sink on the other side of the van with a larger refrig as the refrig in the transit. to make room for larger refrig., have the stove portable so can take stove outside to cook if you wish. Also water facet in bathroom made long enough so can take shower outside the van.
@@gosmall.livelarge thank you. There are a couple you mentioned that I have not seen UA-cam videos on and have not checked out their websites. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Love the acrylic windows and this floor plan. Coach controls would be better over slider so to free up the kitchen cabinet. I believe no storage under passenger bed. Love the new dash and safety features. FireFly system seems problematic.
I think you are absolutely correct. I have this model from 2021 and the cost difference between the sticker and the quote is approximately the cost of the Li3 system.

Nice review, Scott. I really like the white cabinets as well. Although they are similar, I prefer this floor plan over the Travato 59K. However, I hate the idea of having 2 gray water connections. Yuck!
Scott what is the box under the cabinet for? Is it a light box? I would like all class B vans to have that window in the side door. Those cabinets are beautiful and functional. I like the glass and light inside. One could put in a wire as needed. I see those could be called valances.
@@gosmall.livelarge I see I had a typo and wasn't clear on my question. My suggestion was to put in some type of shelf in the cabinet. Preferably a wire one. My comment was about what is under the cabinet. It is where the light is. They boxed in the light.
Scott. I have 3k deposit in for (old)new stock 2022 coachmen nova 20rb with 630amp lithium package.. I wanted 20c but beggars can't be choosers .. out the door $85k any advice on inspection n pickup... Going to register van in Oregon where I reside.
Love the windows, but do not like the tiny refrigerator, I cook and having just a plain micro wave is not acceptable. I also wish mfgr. would create a van that is for a single person, a single bed/twin size that can be converted for two IF needed rather than taking up space for two beds all the time. I believe that is why custom built vans are so popular it gives the owner more options. I understand mass production, but surely there is a market for sole travelers that would motive mass production to take them into consideration in designing.
I also wish they could make a single bed r.v. with a large fridge and freezer. Leave room for more storage too. No need for 2 extra seats behind drivers area, as some vans have. The travato is nice with the Murphy bed, large fridge, but they need to lose those extra seats up front. I may have to have a custom van built.
This was at the top of my list, until I sat in the driver's seat. It is definitely not made for tall-ish people. I wish I could have them make the countertop shorter (in width) to allow the driver's seat to slide back/lean back more. I was bummed that it was so small because it's like a mini Travato 59KL!
With as much time as you have spent reviewing and speaking with the folks from Coachmen, have they ever mentioned why they don't produce a floorplan like your Winnebago 59G? Love their build quality, but really want a larger fridge and I do not care for the Nova C floor plan or any of the manufacturers that have the folding couch/bed in the back. Is that why you haven't traded Lily for a Coachmen? Thanks again for the fine review.
You're right about that Scott, but I'd like to see Coachman do a 59GL floorplan with their build quality and better warranty. I think they would hit it out of the park with new customers. Wouldn't you be tempted?
