Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, is popular for its vibrant street life, rich cultural heritage, and majestic temples like the Grand Palace and Wat Arun. It is also famous for its tasty markets, vibrant cuisine, and lively nightlife.
Bangkok is in fact the most visited city in the world, with an estimate of 22.78 million visitors in 2023.
The view you see is over the Chao Phraya River, with the vibrant shopping center ICONSIAM looking over it. The river is always filled with boats. The boats are not only used for goods transportation, but are also very important part of the transportation of both locals and tourists.
The video was taken on the last day of 2023, when the preparations for the NYE party at ICONSIAM were finalising and some of the boats on the river were festively decorated.

By the way, the firework show, designed by Oguchi Yoshimasa, a world-class fireworks producer, consisted of more than 50 000 eco-friendly fireworks, spanning 1 400 meters along the river!
