This is EXACTLY how I want to build mine. I've thought about putting a couple of the windows on the side of mine to highlight certain bottles with lights inside. I wish we could have seen the finished product and how the window was used. Thanks!
Well done SIr...Well done! Looks fantastic and the Plexi window is a very cool detail and well done! Best part was the top cut out! I have never witnessed a person using a Jig saw Blade by hand...ever!! Thanks
you sir are a craftsman whether you are a pro or not i watch a lot of these videos this was simple and straight forward great job i would have liked to see it finished keep up the good work
Great job! A good tip for headphones coming from a clumsy lady who gets them caught on everything, pull them through the inside of your shirt so that the cord won’t be in your way:) thanks for the video 🙏🏼
I can’t stop watching this video. I’ve researched the pocket jig and it only goes up to 1.5” thickness of wood. You’re using 2”x4” correct? How does that work? Thank you in advance Sir.
This video was all I needed to start my own bar. I know how to do it, I just needed that bit of assurance that the method I was going to go with was one that someone else had used. Thanks.
Whenever I see a vid like this one, I'm reminded of the importance of having all the right tools in a well-organized space -- neither of which I have, unfortunately.
There is no photo of the inside of the bar as u said u lost the footage. But was curious if u put a toe kick space on the bottom and adjusted the shelves depth accordingly. Thanks
I just subscribed and bough the plans for your bar great work. What's the measurements for the jig that you use with the circular saw top and bottom board 8' by what? Thanks!!
Thanks! I made 3 diffrent sizes. One for a 8', 4', and 2'. The the width dosent matter that much. But you do have to allways use the same saw as it cuts based on the distance from the blade to guide. Just search homemade tracksaw on UA-cam. There are other that do a way better job explaining it. Thanks again!
Don't understand why you would not use overlap joints rather than butt joints with pocket holes. The overlap allows for trim edges and foot rails, something essential that was omitted here.
What was the tool you used to mark the screw holes in the 90 degree joints? It's not something I've ever used here in the u.k. and many thanks for the video it was very inspiring
Ignacio if you get the Kreg jig it has a chart with all the sizes of screws and corresponding wood size. The screws are self tappers so their less likely to split the wood. A little more expensive but worth it.
Ignacio depending where you live, Lowe's has the Kreg jig in stock along with the screws in the tool section. I've heard of people using regular screws but I haven't tried.
Very nicely done! If you have the opportunity to purchase a Castle pocket hole machine, oh man, you'll love it!!! The Kregg's are alright, but the offsetting issue is pretty bad. With the Castle machines, this is virtually eliminated. :) Great work!

Wow. Love the hack using clamps and a skillsaw to create a table saw jig like that. Great stuff.
All nice clean tools, and a bottle of beer on the back counter to drink after finishing to admire the work :)
Watched it on my tv but I was so impressed that I logged in on my phone just to comment. Great job
Sweet! Thanks for watching!

Buddy, you are an artist. You've given me some great ideas for a bar I'm going to build for my wife's She-Shed.

Absolutely beautiful sir. And with minimal tools. Great work
Absolutely gorgeous u did a wonderful job 👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏

That is the worst! When you are walking by something and they get ripped out of your ear! I need some good Bluetooth headphones.
I really liked that. Simple, accurate and good looking!
Is that a plywood top ! Fantastic video, very skilled man !!!
I can’t stop watching this video. I’ve researched the pocket jig and it only goes up to 1.5” thickness of wood. You’re using 2”x4” correct? How does that work?
Thank you in advance Sir.
2x4s are not actually 2x4. They are about 1 1/2 x 3 1/2. Measure one you'll see.
@@rinkelton Much appreciation. You’re correct.

Such an awesome video. I really love it. Very inspiring.

You can do most of this with a drill and a circular saw. It will just take alittle longer....
@@rinkelton it probably wont be as nice as the one you did lol
Great video, and that first song is mesmerizing.....
You are an awesome creator! Thanks for posting 👍
Thanks for watching!
Great Vid, and awesome build I like the display box you built in. Keep more videos coming like this coming.
Bad ass!!! Will this frame hold up a concrete counter top. Thank you Sir.
I would imagine? They put concrete counters on top of regular cabinets and they are ony plywood?

@@anelson1914 Nice work! I wanted to also use the bar edge but it was pricey.
Killer job, bud. That first beat was dope, too.
Good work. Will power expressed through creation.
Good job, man 👍

No, no toe kick. The back is just wide open.
Loved watching that
Long shot but would you have build dimensions and material list in this? Trying to build and outside bar for my patio! Thanks in advance
Link in is in the video discription. Thanks for watching!

I did love it!!! What are the measurements of the bar ?
Its 8'x3'
Looks great
Very nice job sir. May I please ask what type of wood did you use?
Thanks for watching! It is oak veneer plywood

Yes sir!

Sick, nice build! Started watching this with the plan of building one myself.. Now I don't want to anymore..
Just an update. A lot of people were asking for plans, there are now revised plans for purchase. Check the link in the description. Thanks again!

If you are talking about that small Stainless Steel tool. It is a machinist square. At what point in the video?
@@rinkeltonat 45 seconds the blue thing.....cheers
@avbuff05 Its called a Kreg pockethole jig.
@@rinkelton thank you so much for your help
where do you buy lumber that straight!? Holy crap man, that’s half the battle
I know right! You have to dig through the whole pile.
Danny, amazing build brother. Thanks for putting this out, gives me the perfect idea for a bar I was asked to build. 🤙🏻
Right on man! Thanks for watching!

perfect video, simple and classy....I'm modeling my bar off of this one!
I just bought the plans, how long does it take to get to me?
nevermind! got'em
Thanks! Let me know how it comes out.
@@rinkelton its perfect! i framed it out and using some extra hardwood flooring i have as the top!
@@mikeramirez7300 Nice!
When you attach to concrete floor, do you remove the layer of carpet before attaching?
I dont think taking up the carpet is necessary just in case you need to remove it at some point. But would definitely secure it so it wont tip.
How much overhang did you do?10 inches?
12" if I recall correctly.
Were you able to put shelves on the inside? Is it possible? Great work!
Yeah I was. I lost the footage of it.
@@rinkelton awesome...I bought a miter saw for this kind of job. Can wait to tackle. Thanks!
@@asharpvicale Sweet thanks for watching.
Hey man..... had to pause..... way too fukn cool.... got my wood workin creative mind on fire yo..... Awesome
Thanks for watching!
Doesn't the Kreg Jig use its own screws? What type of screws did you use, size, thread etc. ? you make it look so easy, great stuff!
Ignacio if you get the Kreg jig it has a chart with all the sizes of screws and corresponding wood size. The screws are self tappers so their less likely to split the wood. A little more expensive but worth it.
Thanks for your reply. So, you have to get the screws exclusive from Kreg?
Ignacio depending where you live, Lowe's has the Kreg jig in stock along with the screws in the tool section. I've heard of people using regular screws but I haven't tried.

excellent work, now i have an idea to make mine. thanks for sharing
How did you move it. To put it in its final location
Furniture dollies and in the back of a truck the L section was resting on the tail gate. It was an experience. LoL!
Felicitaciones y saludos desde Colombia. Gran trabajo, excelente. Voy a intentarlo para mí negocio. Gracias por el vídeo.
Nice video but can you give the dimensions , size of screws and any other materials needed.
Nice job Danny....
mriganka sinha Thanks!
Great work
Nice job man 👍
I love this video!!! 😁
Love this Top Work
Just bought the plans
I can build it, it won't have all the fancy cuts but with a few metal braces it willl be just as strong
What is the height of the bar? And witch lenght of screws did you use?
It is 42" tall. The plans are for purchase in the video discription. Thanks for watching.
What were the dimensions? Building a basement bar and need some reference points.
Keepsake Mill The top was 8' long x 2'deep and 42" deep on the L section
Danny Rinkelton Thank you! Love the build and vid.
Just an update. A lot of people were asking for plans, there are now revised plans for purchase. Check the link in the description. Thanks again!
This is awesome now my question is do I really need all these tools?what tools do I need to get by and do the job.
Bryan Mendez you can prolly get it done with a drill and circular saw and patients.
Danny Rincon thanka brotha
Awesome bar! What did you use to attach the countertop to the top and the trim to the 3/4 sheet?
I just used pockethole screws to attach the top and glue with brad nails for the trim..
Congrats on 400k amigo.
401 actually!!!
Cuantas tablas 2x4 tuvistes que utilizar para el molde ? And what inches you cut the woodz?
Very nicely done on the bar and the video. What coating did you use to protect/finish it?
I actually didnt do the finish. The guy that purchased it was going to do it once he got it back to his place.
Well I've got a hand saw, a drill and some screws, I think I'll give it a go 😅
That was very enjoyable to watch. Great skills and a great project! Thank you for sharing.
Bro wicked build. If a May ask what was the total cost for material?
Bigg Spliff it was about $400. Thanks for watching.
Danny Rincon you have some serious rasclot skills mi Breda!

Cómo puedo obtener los planos de esa construcción
Pretty cool, there's also a new website called buildabarapp that you can design your own bar as well
AMAZING VIDEO!
Very nice work looks really good
En que momento le distes los cantos de la mesa
This is amazing fair play! Decent edit too
Hey there, i'd like to know why you put the screws that way? More strengh to the wood?
It actually has less strength with this method. Its just more convenient to hide the screws on the inside of the project.
@@rinkelton Oh ok thanks for the fast response ! :)
Good job.... Looks nice
What would I do if it was wobbling
Just use some adjustable feet. Or door shims, once you get it where you want it.
@@rinkelton could you leave a link of what they are it would be a big help
Was that yellow router that you use to cut the square hole ? What kind of router did you use in this video. Thanks
I used a Dewalt with a flush trim bit.
@@rinkelton thank you
Nice job!! I’m looking at making one here soon. You gave me a good idea how to do the frame!
Very clever....but maybe slow things down for clueless people like me who have never done this before??
