This circuit can never work correctly the way it is drawn. It's a very poor class A amplifier at best. The speaker sees a huge DC current which heats the coil and also reduces the effective travel that the membrane can achieve.

I would love to see how much bass you could get a 3 inch Woofer to produce by using various sized Passive radiators.. from equal size to triple. and see if there is a bass output difference just "bass'd" on the size of the passive radiator alone.

The last circuit definitely needs a capacitor (470uF will do) in series with the speaker to stop the DC going into the speaker. Of course such a simple amp can not have good quality sound, but adding this cap should improve things a lot and will keep the speaker safe.

Also, maybe your next audio hack is turning a speaker into a mic by just reversing the positive and negative of a speaker then connecting that to your laptop with a aux cable (and set the aux port to mic instead of headset if that shows up when you plug in aux)

If you use an actual audio NPN transistor like a 2N6292 it would work much better.

Now that you have a lot of exposure on UA-cam, you need to lead by example. Use extraction during soldering.
