Awesome tutorial! For anyone having problems with messy bag geometry when rendering, I found if you simply apply the first Subdivision modifier on the bag mesh this fixes the issue.
On the Default Cube channel you had a video making a shrinkwrap simulation with proximity - wouldn't a geometry proximity node be a good idea here as well? Because if you have to simulate cloth and you're not quite happy with the result and want to tweak the movement of the spheres, you always have to re-simulate the cloth. And I believe there are ways to make it look not sticking exactly to the surface but have some random motion as well... and it would be easier to make a looping animation than with a cloth simulation, I guess. It would be cool if you made it a full GN version.
you know it's too bad you put your walking goals on break but I just love to see your tutorials pooping on my frontpage. now someday I'm going to actually learn how to use those geometry nodes so I can follow on your tutorials...
go to the cloth sim of the cloth sphere and increase the distance in object collisions under the quality. It helped me when my balls(!) slightly poked out but if your balls just dont interact with the sphere then I don't know, everything should be fine if you follow the tutorial.
Following along, but my geo nodes balls don't seem to work as a collision object. My cloth ballsack (!) will collide correctly with a plane with collision switched on, and if I disable geo nodes on the originaal cube the cloth collides correctly (ish - it slips through, but definitely interacts) so I'm not sure what's going on with my scene...
My man is on the UA-cam grind.
Dove in head first into 2023 lol

Nothing inspires/prompts CGMatter to action than someone who says you can't do something in Blender. Love it.
Gotta be the most consistent blender UA-camr

what exactly do you mean?
I love how the tweet itself basically says it’s impossible in blender but my man does it in 4 minutes flat.
You missed a great opportunity to use skin texture and add curly hairs
hehe I just posted something like that yesterday...
@Jeremy Taylor I had to go look at it and I can't tell if I'm disappointed or impressed 🫠
ewwwwwwww nahhhhhhh
CGMatter videos never miss. You rule!
Thank you for all of these tutorials.

Thanks Mahn! Woos looking for dat stuff all morning, happy find ya!🥰
Hey that's me :D
Really glad to see you are sane again,
thanks for the help dude ♡
Throw back to the glowing sack tutorial, love it

Nice you be killing it keep it up. good work!!!
This will help me with my Truck Nuts for the car modeling project.
The first thing you do is pull up a points node in geometry nodes, but my blender legit doesnt have just a points node...
nvm ... i updated my blender... problem solved
Is this how Danny Elfman's Happy music video was made? Scarred for life 😭
just turn off the gravity. its will be same. and add a force forcefield with -300 power in middlie
keep killing it cg!

This is a great tutorial
Hiw can the balls roll on top of another without intersecting ?
Sorry guys, at 0:35 I can't find Points node in my version 3.2 , so I can't follow the rest of the tutorial. Any advice please?
Update to 3.4 or 3.5
@@sece09 THANKS MAN!👍
how can you make your points have a collision radius?
Maybe the original used forces like vortex because it looks like the balls are twisting but idk
Love it!
Hey, my cloth object is falling through my spheres. Any advice? Thanks.
Same when render becomes a mess

@@romansmirnov467 helped. thx.
Looks like the video from twitter uses rigid body on the spheres? Would this replicate the effect by turning on rigid body for the sphere layer?
Would it be possible to make this as an exportable 3D object ? Don’t believe geonodes can be exported this way

If I just connect the UV sphere mesh to the group output, the collision works....
Maybe you missing step Realise Instanses? 2:20
how would you make that spheres inside doesn't intersect each other?
Where's part two of geo nodes tutorial? 😢
thanks
is there a way i can fix the overlapping of the spheres?
