You obviously have no idea what adrenaline is. We push the boundaries and live on the edge to feel alive. Some of us are insanely capable riders who are well aware of common sense risks as well. Stay in the back of the pack on your bike and leave the serious riding to us.
I live in Los Gatos in northern CA. This looks exactly like many of the roads that I ride daily. What makes this road dangerous is many that ride it aren’t familiar with its nuances. I bet it’s less dangerous to local regulars. Most of my areas local wrecks are caused by excessive speed for the conditions, ie. wet or cold roads. Be safe!
I just got my first sport bike. I can't wait to be good enough to take this ride. What a trip. Awesome video thanks for letting me ride on your shoulder.
Spend the money to buy top of the line leathers and helmet and boots and gloves and body armor then go out to the racetrack and spend time and money practicing on the track days, where there are no cars, opposing traffic, animals, trees, RVs, and cliffs... if you want to have a slightly higher chance of survival!!
@@Dharma-Track I just went to my first track weekend at Little Talley. Chewed up tires but I learned a lot taking the race classes and talking to the coaches and many new friends, running the track. Can't wait til next season.
@@riderdie1603 I live on the shores of Lake Erie half hour East of CLE. My good friend finally bought property in Robbinsville NC. Right on 129. Tail of the Dragon. Been there many times now. I have 2010FZ6R and 2015fz09. Good times down there. Mountain people are great too. I saw a black bear early in the AM. on mile 5 once. Really something
I don't know why this road is so famous... I guess in USA most of them are long straight boring road😜 In Spain we have a lot of them, so every time you can do a different route. For example, look for Prades (Tarragona) I call that are Nurburgring, because is a green hell of a road, or the road above Castellar del Vallés (Barcelona), la Alpujarra (Granada), etc... I invite you to come to Spain and enjoy some good roads and food
Love that place I live 5 hours but I'm in a mx5 my conner eater . I always wondered how fast you guys go. I might can keep up with ya in curzes but on long stretch I'm done
I live just over the line in Ky and own two motorcycles a liter bike and a CBR300R and yes we have great roads for riding. My favorite is down by Laurel lake in corbin Ky. We often race on a long bridge over looking the damn!
Wondering how long you been riding before you did this tail. Also do you have any good advice for my brother who just start riding and is looking to ride this tail soon
This guy has been riding for a long time. Your brother will be fine. Even new riders can handle the dragon. It's just the way you ride it. There's plenty of people out there just cruising around going the speed limit. I think you'd be surprised, it's so twisty it's really hard to get going very fast at all. Just go, you'll have fun!
Freaking amazing video. Thank you. Sorry for the noob question. How was this filmed? I see it was a 360 degree camera. But how is it mounted? Really cool
stayed pretty much or the right side of the double yellow (witch should be thought of as a wall) cars and bikes alike ....too many people riding this dragoon .. i'll be on the backroads of Carolina or Wisconsin or Tenn...VMax n R1x2
The bike has a long pole mounted on the back, kind of a like a sturdy fishing pole or radio antenna. The camera is mounted on the top and can be facing forward or backwards... simple but effective.
No worries I saw it in the corner of a couple of frames.. For some reason I remember it being up closer to where you turn into the carpark mind you that was 20 years ago so memory plays tricks on you at times..
Fun but crazy . I used to elude cop cars .I had a kawasaki 2 stroke ,3 cylinders (widow maker) and later a modifed1975 Honda 750 F. NEVER rode recklessly with a passenger. Now that I am almost 70 and had my share of broken bones and bruises I think i was lucky not to kill myself or do a head on collision with innocent people. The risk of hitting an animal is present on theses road too . Still once in a while I like to drag the frame on my Road Star or do a little power slide .
Leaning over the double yellow line is a great way to lose your head. Same goes for crossing it
No one needs heads now a day that implies we actually use our 🧠 Full send and you’ll be okay 😂
@@justincastaneda3328 speak for yourself brainless American 😂
Oh For Real? I Had No Idea!!!!😮😮😮
Have you actually ever done the dragon?

2:10 this turn is cemented in my brain, the camera doesn’t do it justice
I have ridden the Dragon two times and seeing these guys give me an adrenaline rush. Great video
Heard stories about that road, only 45 minutes from me. Gonna have to ride out there

Sweet mount angle, really get so see how your moving around on the bike better than before.
Honestly, id rather just do a track day to ride fast like that. On that road i just want to cruise
Dope vid bro, really like the view with the 360, gives me great view of the dragon and breaking points, before I hit it.. 💪🏽🤙🏽
I just rode the dragon Tuesday. One of the best rides ever.
Seesh KTG!! miss riding with ya bud!
When are you coming back BKT? The dragon was awesome for you last season 🐉👍🏍️

Slaying the dragon
That’s a cute little road. I could see how flat landers would get worked up about it though.

My husband did theTail on his GoldWing. I suspect he went a whole lot slower than you!
YAY YAY KTG
Going back next month been 15 years since I rode there but ride with Max regularly now he's back at the dragon I'd love to be in a video.
The beginning suddenly looks like a video game clip. 😊
Just watch the TT sorry but not even close😂
Oh, you're back on the Dragon?
how long you in nc for max? i now live 6hrs away from the dragon... i can't wait to ride it
This is so gorgeous in the autumn colors. damn

did u gear ur bike differently ? it sounds like u stay in one gear alot ?
One Road I never got to Ride!
They sure spend allot of time on the dead side of the paint........
Dragon Slayer
I live an hour away from here it’s a beautiful road to just cruise
312 bends on this road, and you managed to go over the yellows on more than half. Well done…
I know, right? I did this ride on a 550lb r1200gsa and I didn’t do that once
Weee weee boo hooo
J'adore toujours un plaisir de voir t vidéos
You got your smooth brain over the line
I went to Wookies in the woods and a Vw was trying to catch up to the parade and almost hit us. It was a mark 4 GLI
Leaning over the double yellow line shows no particular riding skills
First why are there stripes at all!? They need matenains, are dangerous, have no purpose. In Europe you hno stripes. Much saver and more fun to ride.
wow😲 nice ride max wrist i'm from nepal
Ive driven this in a vehicle a lot, my hands are SWEATING watching this video lmao
Is this filmed with a drone? Awesome video nonetheless!
Throwin down on tha dragon boi
❤❤
Its looks cool but dangerous at the same time. The closest thing to me riding there is just youtube lol
Bucket list
In Brazil we have a road like this,is called "rastro da serpente" snake trail✊✊
Killing the game🔥
where the hell is the camera mounted? Wicked
Ok, now I understand why that road is so famous, wow. Great video, thanks!
Awesome Video!
Chase it dude
were any of those Ducatis Panigales? I've always wanted to see one IRL
It's all fun and games until there's a car in your lane because they're on their phone.
Nobody is on their phone on this road. You've never been on the dragon and it shows.

How is it with Kitty and The bike🙏🌸

Lots of practice before I even try this on a bike . I'll stick to 4 wheels
Go in the morning during the week. Run your own pace
Freaking amazing video. Thank you. Sorry for the noob question. How was this filmed? I see it was a 360 degree camera. But how is it mounted? Really cool
The camera edits out the mounting stick somehow
I wondered exactly the same thing.
Never seen so many squids in one pack
That drone footage at the start is sick!!!
no drone. 360° gopro mounted on a pole
