Plus, using drones, a live broadcast could add value. Instead of the The Isle of Man, maybe The Man in the Mountains? That said, I’ve met women Dragon Slayers I sure couldn’t keep up with . . .
Due to government over-regulation, you couldn't even film it with a 1 oz tiny whoop (well, most places in the US its illegal to fly even in your own backyard inches off the ground, but the FAA has additional restrictions on filming events like that, which ironically lead to only "professionals" with extremely huge, heavy, and dangerous flying camera equipment where even a danger for spectators because those props will happily take an arm off let alone a jugular. The only reason you were so fast is because you didn't have to worry about some crazy dude passing you in one of those curves 😉,!!
Awesome ride man.
I’m glad very few of you know about the super twisty roads around here!
Catching up on video man your getting super fast YAY YAY KTG 🔥🔥🔥
Holy Snot Balls! All I kept thinking was - if a deer darts out this could end badly. That was impressive Bro.
Antprilia had Obviously the same time,, same record...❗️❗️❗️💪💪
The riding was impressive, but the lack of traffic… that gets me excited!!! 😰💦
Wild. Deep on both sides. 👏
Not gonna ride the Beartooth pass like that guaranteed!
Love Bear Tooth and Going to the Sun road thru Glacier.
Would love to see some shots of u guys flying by from the side of the road!!
That was Spectacular... Absolutely Awesome...
Really enjoyed this!
Now this. This is talent.
Always wondered why rear view mirrors were shaped the way they are. Now I know. It's so they don't scrape when you're leaning way into the corners!
Maxy has come a long way since the days of street thugging around with Wristy. Though I have to say, If there isn't at least one "Max Pass" is it really a MaxWrist video? ;) Well done man. Nice ride for sure.
My brother in law Ken is good friends with Killboy, he owns Wheeler's in Robbinsville... Now I need to ask him what his fastest time on the dragon is... Like me he's getting up there in age, but I'm sure in the 25 or so years he's lived there, he's made a few fast runs... Great run, I was leaning in my seat on every corner...
That BMW sounds angry and I love it! I though you were on an EBR at first.
Wow, that’s a fast rip! Been riding it the past couple days, but...been a little wet most of the time. I think I put 255 break in miles on my S1000RR in the past two days here! 😂🤷🏻♂️ All of the roads here are amazing!! This is definitely where you break in a bike!
Congratulations on your new S1000RR! 👊🏻✊🏻💨
@@MaxWristLife thanks! 504 miles after running around today and doing the TOTD 4 more times today… Heading back to Florida, but…everyone keeps telling me to come back in October, so…
I enjoyed that very much. Can anyone tell me where cops hide?
@@mincedmash796 they move too much to tell you where they’ll be…but, what worked for us…we would do a calm ride one way, then rip back the other way if it was clear. When you’re at the top, people will straight up tell you if they saw cops with radar…
for those of you that want a Faster challenge, come to Oklahoma, we have the Talemina dr..52 miles long, twisting ,winding up and down ,,,50 mph on the Ark side, and 55 on the OK side , its located about a hour south of FT Smith ark,,BEWARE its on a mountain top and the drop off"s are 200 to 500 ft ,, two lane black top , NO shoulders !!!! be sure you and your vehicle and your brakes can handle 52 miles !!! and its in a National Park so there are Park Rangers (federal agents) that can issue you a speeding ticket DOUBLE (600-$800)what the state would...nearby are the Spiro Indian mounds, and the Heavner Viking Runestone..on the east side is Mena Ark ,nothing there but the largest runway in the midwest, when bill clinton was gov , the CIA was flying in C130's full of cocaine at mena..hang out at the airport and no telling what might fly in,, Mena is known for being the largest place in North America for Airplane "modifications"......
Wow! The BMW 1000rr are the best Bike ever that street legal is! And you are one of the best driver out of racetracks!
You are a real danger freak!! Sorry for my bad english best wish Reiner from Germany
I just did a 9:07 this morning on the HP4!! 😂 Just messing. Nice clean run. So lucky, you had the whole road to yourself. Max Wrist killing the game. When we getting Max on a track day???
That was crazy bro 💪
Good job Max!!! I wish we had lesser traffic on our road so we could push it those extremes too😔
I had a chance to take my 2018 GoldWing down the Dragon a couple of weeks ago. It was awesome, but it did take longer than 9 minutes.
Wow clean run. So smooth, not like your other runs where you cross double solid. This was impressive
Imagine using the whole road how fast it could be done. Very impressive Max
Really putting that traction control to work.
There's a road in remote Northern California that easily rivals that road. We were out on a group tour one summer and met two gentlemen who, judging by their bikes and the quality of what they passed us, were local successful weed farmers living the dream on an empty road.
Shussshhh...
@@IanMacLeansnv Notice that I didn't say Which road. NorCal's a big place.
California Hwy 49 is a great road.
Now with the Traction control off hahaha… don’t mind, excellent ride and bike 😎😎… my next liter bike; now I have a triumph speed triple 1050 RS and it is already a monster
KTG with consistent improvements!!!!!
Well done! The run was from the ToD Overlook, not Tabcat Bridge, so that's 2.3 missing miles of the Dragon, unless the standard timed route is from the overlook? Either way, I forgot what my times were, but I'd say at least 2X yours.
That’s where usually they start it at the overlook, not at the lot
Wow that was fun great ride brother again that was bad ass riding make my time on my 77 Suzuki GS550 look like I did it with a sun dial
You're the reason why they're putting speed bumps on this road congratulations
Why the lie??
Plus. I think he hit 100 towards the end, just incredible !!
121it is a challenge to keep on the digital speedo .
This was NOT the 'Tail of the Dragon'!! I rode The Tail 3 days ago and there is LITERALLY NO WAY that THIS video is from the Tail!! 100%! MaxWrist, dont fake your content!! Be true to the bike and yourself!
Why isn't it? You see where they start from. The overlook. And they end at Deals Gap. How can it be fake?
Lmao this is 100% the tail
Question, was that track record or Personal Best? Regardless, very smooth. Congrats on a great Run.
Rubber side down brothers&sisters 😎
So much here. Ridiculously fast time, DSC light seems to be stuck in the "on" position, and I'm pretty sure he was slowing Antprilia who probably has a sub 9 in him.
OMG! I live her near the dragon. My friend used to ride this on a Norton Atlas and a Triumph Bonneville and we thought we were flying but not as fast as this guy. We had some of the best bikes made back then but they were no match for this bike.
A fun fact: The worlds largest chain of Cafés are in Leuven called "De Oude Markt"
Like the IOMTT, the Dragon needs to be closed for general traffic and used for some crazy road racing.
Thank's for the run!
Yo is this Max from Tonys Atlanta Cycle Accessories in Stockbridge?
you would probably shave about 20-30s off that time if you did some harder braking into the corners. kudos though for pretty much never crossing the center line!
Wicked fast brother, well done! Now what I wanna know is, what time of the day is this that you guys literally had the whole Dragon to yourselves?? Lucky bastards 😆 🤣. Hey Max, ever thought about riding that Aprilia thru there? I bet you smash that time with the RSV4. While the S1KRR is a fast bike, the fact that they're not dominating in MotoAmerica at the hands of some of the top riders in the world tells you it ain't all about hp. I bet you shave off 1 sec with the RSV
Nice run. I thought the starting point was back further at the reservior? Why start at the overlook?
I agree I'm under the impression that it officially starts at the bridge and not at the lookout
102 times 😂 3 full lane departures your wild bro. I need whatever suit you got bro if you feel that safe to ride like that. All jokes aside for real what gear you ride with I need all of it.
Well done Max...
Your such a farkin champ....
TRUE STORY...
awesome to watch 'n enjoyed the ride, cheers
Wow that’s awesome ! How many times have you done that ?
There should be a proper hill climb event, or time trial if there's not much elevation change, on this stretch of road. Being able to use the full width of a closed road would be awesome.
Badass! Did you have any spotters to make sure 4 wheel traffic wasn't an issue?
Congratulations
