This is a project to build a Royal Enfield Classic 350 / Meteor 350 Custom Bobber / Scrambler bike from a 2022 model Stolen & Recovered machine, part of a full series of episodes.
the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the only bike I ever bought without having test ridden it! I didn't care what it rode like as I was solidly in love with it. We went to our local dealer and bought three of them - we all have them one year later and still love them. Mine is Halcyon Grey and is still my fave!
If you want to get rid of that tank, maybe I'd buy it to have a spare 😉

That's a great story, I don't think there's anyone that would think it's ugly (but I'm sure there's some somewhere). I'm going to stick some flowers in it for now 😊

I think it might be because you've got it set as 'Made for Kids' which turns off comments, if you go to the content page on UA-cam Studio you can click the 'pencil' to edit and set it as 'Not made for kids" - I think, good luck

That’s cool the classic parts fit the Meteor 👍and I think the Classic tank looks good esp once raised a bit like you did. Need to see a Meteor tank on a Classic now 😜😁👍

Wow classic reborn tank on meteor!!! to be honest it looks better than the meteor tannk specially on your bobber build, at first i was like nah its not gonne look good but after you installed it on the bike it blew me away.

7:34 looks small but cute. The brown of the seat compliments. The curve of the seat and the tank also look reciprocal. Proper scrambler.

Personally preferred the meteor tank. Gives it more presence. Great series. Binged it in 3 days😅

I think the Meteor tank is a larger fuel capacity 15 Litres compared to the classic's 13. Hence the different fit
It certainly feels smaller when you've got them side by side
with some semi high handlebar this will look dope

Hi Glyn, I own a 2022 halcyon gray 350 classic , when you placed the classic tank in position I immediately give it the wow! Factor but maybe familarality breeds content having own one that colour who knows? But never the less the bikes looking great and I think your doing a great job.
I think your bike might have had an influence 😊 It must be wonderful to have one at home, does it need much looking after with all the shiny bits?
Hi Glyn, I havn't cleaned it yet , I only got the bike in June ( 2nd owner) and I've only done 350 dry miles so it's as good as new. I joined the R.E.R.C. so most of my riding has been in convoy. I'm the sort of person who has to have a purpose to ride rather than joy ride on my own, incidentally one of my favourite places is the Welsh Valleys. My Grandfather was 100% Welsh so I'm very proud of the Welsh blood in me.

Beauty of RE, most things tend to fit each other. That tank would look good if you went for a scrambler look.

cause my 90 suzuki gn do everything. at this point

Seems all you need to dial in the tank position is rubber to the same external diameter with a hole off centre, then by rotating the bung you can alter the height very easily
That's a really good idea, it doesn't need to go up much
Now you just need to go back to fleabay and find the rest of the classic 350 that goes with that tanks and PRESTO! you have your next project. When did you last start the engine on the Meteor?
haha that's my plan! I haven't started it since you last saw it run back in May but I'm confident it will again shortly

Hello, it's just called a universal tank rack, it uses air suckers just to stick on the tank. I don't think I'd trust it with anything valuable but it looks good 😀 You have some great looking videos

Will do, that sounds great. I was just looking at them online today and wondering how it could be pushed down that route. It looks like you've got enough bits and bobs there to find out. My Mum is from Nacton, hence my half n half accent, always good to see Suffolk/Norfolk, haven't been there for a long time
