I had a Interceptor 650 & wrote it off hitting gravel & wentvto a Triumph Trident 660 but now I'm on a 2024 Triumph Speedtwin 900. The 2017 Scrambler is 55hp 80Nm & the Scrambler,T100 went to 64hp 80Nm in 2021.Speedtwin went from 55hp to 64.5hp in 2019. There is a cam upgrade for the 55hp 80Nm bikes which increases hp to 64.5hp torque is the same but only the Motone & Free Spirits companies Cams work properly with tune as well. The Tec Cam is a cheap & nasty Cam that Triumph mechanics couldn't tune & most won't work with them nowadays cause of that so if thinking of Cam upgrade to 64hp if not already done don't use a Tec Cam.The extra 9hp you only notice once going over a 100kmh cause the torque is the same.
Just bought one myself. 2023 with 1500 miles. Really nice comfortable and happy going either fast or slow. Brilliant back road scratcher. Previous owner fitted headlight guard, rad guard, heated grips, bar end mirrors, Centre stand, same tail tidy, rear seat rack, decat exhaust, YSS rear shocks, triumph left side bag and frame, and led indicators front and rear. £8900 from main dealer Exeter.
I have 19 K miles on mine and have loved 6 seasons on her ..I bought a 2017 black one as a new left over in 2018 .I added a center stand heated grips Tiger adventure foot pegs and a panier frame with a wooden box for rain and winter gear .I love the higher gas milage with the lower HP lower compression motor .(also fine with low test gas ).I hope you didnt ride that bike home without mirors :) All the best and I know you will enjoy that wonderful bike ... Yours Guy

@@musicmaestro88 the headlight had a yellow tint installed underneath the headlight, like Laminix and then a Fly Eye mesh over the top. I have since removed the yellow tint and the fly mesh. I’m going to install the Triumph Headlight grill instead.
Great to see bew young bikers coming through! However please dont remove the fork brace bracket. Its not just a mud guard mount. It helps brace the forks and stops them twisting.vthats why the huy doing the mod left it on!!ɓñ!

They are lovely bikes. Isn’t the 2017 the 54 hp as opposed to 2019 onwards with more power at 64 hp?

Details on that headlight? It doesn't lok like it's just Laminix film... it looks like a screen as well.
