Thanks Jeremy, def don't sell the 350. It's an absolute classic bike in every sense and you'd always regret it. Many people who sell them seem to end up buying another😊
I love the Shotgun but have held back waiting to see this. I feel it may be near impossible for the 650 Classic to have the same charm as the 350 (which I will never sell). So much expectation it makes me nervous!
Well, this is the one so many folks have been waiting on. My reaction is that I am happy I went for Super Meteor 650. The classic 350 is a gorgeous looking bike and I would still, eventually, like to own one. But this doesn't do any more for me than the Shotgun 650. Each to their own I guess. Glad I haven't been waiting all this time for one of these to appear. I think they are going to call it a "Classic Super Shotgun classic" ;-)
I don't think it has the charm of the little 350 but hopefully will have its own aesthetic quality that works. That name sounds brilliant haha, I think the upcoming 450 model is going to be called the Guerilla which is going to become the most misspelled (misspelt?) bike name in history. Reminds me of when they used to talk about Guerilla wars on TV when I was a kid and it was not what I imagined 🙄
@@GlynOC Do you think that this marks a change in how they name these new bikes? Maybe they will keep the "gun" theme but move to the "50 Cal 650" or something like that?

That sounds great Mick, I'd like to see that. If you search for the other spyshots they've got the Bullet style seat on one and it looks very comfortable. Have to wait and see I guess👍
At least they didn't "black out" the engine and pipes. So that's a good start. They could make it look like a 1951 Triumph. And put the shock under the seat like the Triumph Bobber. But I don't expect they will. It doesn't add up to put 1960s styling cues on a bike with a nacelle.
As one of the worlds biggest fans of the classic 500, I can’t wait for a C650 however there is nothing classic about this bike and I sincerely hope it gets a proper rework before being released. Then again I also didn’t like the super meteor until I saw it in real life, so who knows. Hopefully we’ll get solid colours and not the silly lines and graphics in all the colors of the rainbow.
@@GlynOCit's being in testing for months in India, with updates. I think the launch may be similar to that of a shotgun. Possibly early 2025. Or best case late 2024. But 24 looks unlikely since they have another 450 coming out, that will be competing with the new triumphs. As per the classic, I think Enfield will get it right once the product is released. Not sure about competing with 350 but I think it will be on the same level, as a bike. The lack of colors for the shotgun and an attempt to get it to look nowhere like a classic especially by color scheme, tells me RE is saving those colors and classic looks for this for sure.
From what I understand from the Dealer network it's due in the UK later this year. I'd love to see one and hope they keep it with the Halcyon style looks. The main drawback with it for me is going to be the weight. If it follows in the footsteps of the Super Meteor and Shotgun it's going to weigh in at around 240kg which for me is far to heavy and I'll stick with my 350 Classic and Meteor 350, speed isn't everything.🤔🙂👍
