This build means so much to me as my late fathers only new car he ever purchased was a XC Falcon ,he came home with it and my dear ol mum was horrified ,she really wanted a station wagon but in the driveway was a Allan Moffat red falcon ,somehow the carsalesman mentioned Allan Moffat and my Dutch father who was still grasping the English language thought it was actually Allans personal car with 28 kilometres on the odometer,she hated it ,he went and purchased a XA Wagon bench seat auto 200ci and Allans car sat in the garage only to be driven on sundays ,unfortunately 1995 it was stolen from Belgrave never to be seen again ,the ol boy would love this build im sure off it

That's an eye opener. I painted my car with Glasurit. Preparation started with 320 not 240. I hand blocked the clear with 800 up to 6000. Then a light buff. It almost shined with the 6000. I'm not brave enough to use orbital sanders. 😉

Love that blue. Is it a Cobalt blue? What a nice ride. Nice to see the Boss 9 in there also. Way too many people take the easy and cheap way out here in America and put a Lame Shite engine in just about everything.

Great car and build (and I’m a Holden guy) however I was wondering about your decision to include the front spoiler.
Yes it’s one thing you love or hate. The owner and I both love it.
Would love to know what was needed to engineer/ register it, with basically what is a body swap

What was the total man hours at the end including the last polish etc before handover?
That is not an easy question as there were so many people involved from so many businesses. A lot of those contributed unpaid hours to the project. Plus the owner and others that I was not involved with. Would have to be 7000 or more hours. Cheers Howard
