Remember how after Qatar Airways lost Mick's bag filled with the latest and greatest from FCS, he was forced to borrow whatever fins he could hustle from the Tropicsurf guides?
While Mick made the boards sing even without their intended fins, we were relieved when Stab’s Ethan Davis arrived with a care package of fins from FCS, so we could properly get the boards to work. In the process of mixing and matching fins, the nature of the Acid Test inspired him to experiment a bit more

My new fins changed my new Mayhem. First fins were for overhead, and I live in Florida, so they didn't work unless the waves were chest-high plus. Now, with a more flex fin, everything changed and my dream Subdriver 2.0 works perfect for my level. With the old fins the shortboard was slow, heavy, no drive, and ruined two months worth of sessions until enlightenment to switch to more flex for Florida waves.
Hey, I'm about to order a Sub Driver 2.0 for weak surf. Which fins are the ones that worked for you?
From what I read FCS 2 PERFORMER small fins because I'm 5'5 130 pounds -- they work better than my first fins Colapinto overhead -- Florida needs certain fins@@Phaidrus
Dont normally ride quads but have been having loving the machado keels in round tail High Performance shortboards. Goes like a stabbed rat and holds in bigger waves than I would have thought!
Nice place looking good out there anyhow feel sorry for you makes it hard to see how things perform differently if you haven’t got the equipment
