Not to correct a master shaper but fiberglass fins are much stiffer than honeycomb. Riding the same fin template with honeycomb vs fiberglass was like adding 6" to the board that is how much stiffer the fiberglass was. Future Fins also says this on their website.
Really interesting , ive windsurfers for many years and there is a few things that are the complete opposite. Quads are slower than thrusters and the more rake makes the windsurf board feel more manoeuvrable .
I know that I am becoming a true surfer: I am begin to be curious in the swells directions, and all kinds of shapes with the Surfboards. Just love the tutorials from T&C Surfboards and master Pang.
I'm an intermediate, aging surfer living in a part of the world with inconsistent and relatively weak waves. I only get out a couple times a month. I want to try a twin plus 1 on my funboard. Realistically would a guy like me on a board like mine notice the difference between Futures T1 (plastic) at $40 vs fiberglass or blackstix $80 (or go all out and get that sweet Glenn Pang set at $120!)? I don't mind spending the money if I will notice a difference. But I am also trying to be realistic about my skills, and putting HP fins on a board designed for user friendliness might be like F1 tires on my carolla.
For 6-10 ft wave size, step up/mini gun boards what should I look for in fin size, rake, etc etc? Am I going smaller in fin size vs my standard short board ? Thanks. What fins do you recommend as most used when going to the step up board and bigger surf?

How dare you😢😅
Clear and useful, as usual. Thank you!
Glad you think so!

Ooohhh yes I am in. Thank you
Great job. I have had a few T &C boards over the years.

Love the video! Where do bonzers play into the fin configs? I've heard single fin on steroids?
Super helpful!
So glad!
Merry Christmas from mainland
Merry Christmas From Hawaii! 🤙🏼
Carbon fiber fins are stiffer.
g10 is stiffer
why does my fin whistle?
You probably have a nick in the leading edge.
is it carbon?

Wow thank you for this 🤍 super helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Mate you completely neglect the fact that more foil tends to create more lift and therefor faster
Thanks for your feedback!
Inside foil gives you a lift but also create more drag, flat foiled fins are faster
