I got these remakes too. 1 2 & 3. good games.
John Nepper as far as I know these were commissioned by Sierra before Activision Bought them. This and a Quest for Glory 2 remake

@@pferreira1983 Super old comment but AGD got a license from Sierra to be able to remake these games. Only requirements were they had to be free to play as it was a fan license. Officially licensed games

@@streeTkiDwannaBe True, and Activision honored that license, but would not allow them a fan license to make future fan remakes like King's Quest IV.
Was disappointed he didn't fall off the beanstalk... The response is "You must be careful when you're so high on the foliage". Busted me up...
It's a quick but sweet adventure
Have to say that's a pretty good impression of Graham's KQ5 voice.

It's a great remake too. You should also check out their remakes of KQ 2 and 3 as well. Especially the third one.
The icons really should interact over a bigger hit-window, no real reason for the precision thisgame is calling for.
The little red pixel on each icon is the pointer. It was annoying prior to knowing that.
Graham looks like Gaston from BatB.

What about that witch note?
you can use them all at some point, but will lose some points or get different storyline which will not give you maximum points at the end, and I was going for max points :)
The witch's note is a clue for the gnome's name puzzle. You might think his name is Rumplestiltskin, but it's actually Nikstlitselpmur. (or that other name from the original version, either one works in the remake)
Also, you won't lose points for using the invisibility ring. In fact, it makes the bit with the giant easier, because you don't have to move around. And you can use it near the guards and try to talk to them for some laughs.
Who made all of these homebrews? They are fantastic, no shade to the originals.

There's a red dot on all the cursors that he either didn't notice or didn't realize that he was supposed to click the target with.

No, see... the elf does want to talk to Graham, because he has that ring for him, but you have to click the talk icon's red dot on him for that to happen. The player apparently didn't realize that and in his attempts to talk to him, he wound up clicking on other spots. So the game registered that as him trying to talk to the scenery.

I'm sorry, but... didn't you notice the red dot on all the cursors? Didn't you wonder what that red dot was for? It shouldn't be that hard to figure out.
the guy playing this seems oblivious to the fact that all Icons and items actually have a different colored pixel that interacts with stuff, kinda pisses me off for some reason ;)
