Thank you for posting these videos. I've been looking for a thorough tutorial on nuno felting, and found you answered all of my questions! I appreciate how clearly and concisely you explained each step, especially where they differ from wet felting with just wool fibers. I look forward to trying this myself.
Terri, I love these videos. thanks for posting them. also thanks for the great tips & for showing the finished scarf. I've watched probably 25 nuno videos & the never show the finished product.
Yes! Your videos are great: Informative, a good speed, matter of fact, intelligent and helpful. Thank you! I have two questions, please: 1) I'd LOVE to see a follow up on subtle alternative effects such as wavy edges and those lovely dense-looking 'strings' people use. They look so solid. Do you roll wispy bits until they get like that? 2) Where do you get the silk, please? I can't seem to locate it. And if we want to dye it, what method would you suggest? Thanks again! :)
Hi Laura, It is mohair yarn. It can be bought at nicer yarn shops in lots of colors. It's usually carried in the big craft stores, but you may get lucky. Either way, check the label and make sure it is really mohair, or if it is a blend, then MOSTLY mohair. Check out my "Add-ins" video for explanations on all kinds of things to include in your felting! Go to the link in the video description, then on the left menu it is under the "Wet Felting" videos area.
Thanks for posting this, very informative. Could you do a video on how to get the curvy edges. I've been searching everywhere to produce that result. Thanks
I use regular liquid hand soap. A lot of felters will use olive oil soap, but that just never worked for me. Try a few and see what you like best. With any solution you make, be sure it is very slippery to the touch.
This is an excellent instructional video. Thank you.

Great video!
What kind of soap do you use?
Thanks
Amazing!
You used some kind of thread in your piece. What do we need to know about that? What is it made of? Where can you get it?
Does it have to be Merino wool?
how did you get the inside fine lines to go from verticle to horizontal?
Karen in an earlier video she showed how to lay down the wool & embellishments for both sides. I can't remember if it was part 1 or 2.
Nn vedo n1 n2?
