Ok, I’m watching this 7 years later and really appreciate all your tips and great “how-to’s”
Hoping to have a go at this with my current supplies. Thank you for sharing your knowledge
It's fabulous listening to your thought process as you work
Great series of videos. Thank you!
Absolutely inspiring. I started out making myself some slippers - now, seeing this, I am seriously hooked. You are an excellent teacher.
Wishing you lots of fun!
Like painting with fibers. Thank you!
Hi, I loved knowing this technique. I want to start trying to do.
Thank you for posting this - I am going to try to do some artwork using this process :D
This is a very very good tutorial! Only one thing I would suggest is to early on explain how the fabrics and fibres are to bond in the felting process to result in a newly created fabric. In order to capture woven fabric using fibres that will felt. Perhaps also explain the actual process of felting and how Nuno uses that in the creating of new fabric. Your vocabulary is excellent and demonstrating your design decisions show the procedures well. Would like to hear more "why" a decision is made regarding the felting process and not just the colours in the design.
Thank u for sharing your knowledge.
My favorite WW - inspired me to take the plunge into the world of Nuno felting - thanks Marie
Do you have to use silk only for the scarves.
Sweet
How did you know this was what I wanted to see? I think you peeked in my cart.😂 thanks
Merhaba çok güzel bir teknik, kullandığınız kumaşların cinsi nedir
I am so interested in how to make these , could you send me a list of all you used in making this, and where you can get the supplies? Thank you so much!! Your tutorial is amazing!!
This may be a silly question but can you use synthetic fabric for nuno felting as long as it's an open weave so there are spaces for the fibres to poke through?
I'm trying to felt a silk scarf and I'm not getting good results. The wool isn't working into the silk. What should I try?
If you’re cutting into a piece of fabric just do a burn test to see if it’s silk. You only need a few threads and it is immediately obvious if you’ve got silk or a synthetic.
