Recently had this girl I was talking to and she used to text me and call me frequently and all of a sudden, she started to do it when she felt like it or just not respond to my calls or texts at all. She'd even hit me up a week later acting like everything was all good and she didn't do anything wrong. I had a lot of feelings for her 😪 but I had to cut her off real quick. Great video 😌

I had a friendship this year where I was constantly putting this person first but never really receiving the same energy in return. As much as I still love this person, distancing myself from them is honestly one of the healthiest things I’ve done for myself.

I have really needed this. This girl says we are “best friends” and she has been emotionally abusing me to the point where I have severe anxiety. It sucks, so don’t let those fake peeps get too close to you!
My personality is very distinctive, I'm truthfully very difficult to handle. How I know if I have a real friend is if they stick around after I compulsively obsess over something that other people would think was weird. 😫 which sadly is very difficult for me.

Recently, I've been feeling so alone since every single one of my friends are starting to drip away from me. So when I was so heart broken with this guy, nobody was there for me. For the next couple of weeks following our break up, I kept everything intact (pics & memories) and I didn't tell anyone (except my bestfriends) that we were breaking up just in case we would've get back together... Then when I realised by the way he was talking to me (like he didn't care anymore) that this was really over and I really moved on from this point...

I love these ♡ GIRL TALK videos! Maybe a next video idea could be on our societies expectations on females. I think younger girls, including myself, feel pressured to act or look a certain way, we constantly compare ourselves to others and it breaks us down. It's so so unhealthy and I think it's something people should talk about more to help us ladies out -xo

My father just came in my room and told me that we were moving and that I’m gonna have to move schools by next week.... the thing is I’ve been in this school for over 10 years, I have all my best friends and I’m gonna have to leave all of them! I really liked this video. It really resonated with me. Because even though it's been a few months about 3 my boyfriend broke up for me saying he's not feeling me or the relationship anymore and we were together for two plus being best friends before. So to make it short it was hard to shallow just like you I just responded because I don't want to be with someone or keep someone who isn't happy to be with me and the best thing was to let it go. But it did hurt me, I just feel bad sometimes that even with the time that had gone I still think about but I'm getting better. I'm focusing on my major and working plus I decided to join a acapella group to keep my mind occupied and stable but also because I love it. Like you said I know I'm not there yet but time does heal wounds and I know it will get better but I just have to be patient and do what's best for me. I can't wait for Grown-ish to come on!!! I feel like either a person is your friend or they are not. A friend will not use what you tell them and hold it over your head or tell everyone your business when things go sideways. Friendships change just like your life changes---just because you were super available in the beginning of the friendship doesn't mean you're a bad friend when you don't have as much time later. A friend is appreciative of whatever time you are able to spend/talk with them. Friends have to have a mutual understanding. In the same breath, like you said some friendships are only for a season. You have to learn to be okay when the season is up.

I've learned that you can't let people take advantage of/run all over you because in the end, it's only you that'll get hurt. No joke, ever since I was little I had people just take control of the wheel for me -- say whatever and do whatever they wanted. Now, I am 19 years old and still have long ways to go on this journey of self-discovery -- I am sick and tired of it. It's time to cancel those who don't need me as I don't need them.

This reminds me of coming of age I just realized that my best friend wasn't a real best friend after 20 years of friendship, She was the one that actually stayed around because they don't like seeing you do well at all she also had a problem with me being a relationships I remember calling her one night asking her for a condom. I knew she wasn't a friend permanently when she didn't want to give me a condom so I can be with my guy I strongly believe that she actually liked him, when he came around she never wanted to leave my apartment I had to kick her out! 🤣😂

wow i was struggling with this boy who did me dirty and he was asking for a second chance and i was thinking about everything you said in this video and i realized that he isnt the one for me. i just realized i only liked him for his looks which was so wrong of me and that he never really made me happy i guess you can say i was just too scared to let go. but now ik what i want and i want to focus on myself more and get rid of toxic people from my life. thank you so much , you've helped through so much. you are so beautiful in and out, keep it up

I met this boy, 4 years ago now...and we liked each other for 3 of those 4 years and I was planning on asking him out this year, but when we came back to school he acted really horrible towards me, cold and distant, he didn’t talk to me or look at me, and now he treats my best friend the way he used to treat me, like I was the only thing in the world that mattered, and he was the first boy I ever really really liked. He talks to me sometimes now, but not often, I miss him but he doesn’t seem it care, I’m moving schools next year and I’m gonna cut him off because he doesn’t care about me or want me in his life, I want you all to know, like luhhsetty said, don’t let them control your life, if your friends don’t treat you like the amazing and wonderful person you are than you don’t have time for them, they don’t care what’s up with you, you couldn’t care less about what’s up with them, if they try to guilt trip you like my ex best friend did, just remember that there are people who genuinely care about you and want you in there lives.

The being friends with someone for a long time thing is true. I had years (almost decade) long friendships and we aren't friends anymore. So time doesn't matter. It is about who has your back and whose back you have. True friends care about your well being just like you care about them.

Any advice on getting over friend breakups and not letting bad friends get to you?
