I didn’t think much of Jacob’s watches when I first started collecting. He is a very relaxed and cool guy. He produces some very interesting pieces. Thanks Michael and Adam for introducing him to us.
I owned a Jacob & co watch when I was 14. My friends dad played poker with some high end players. Met them though the casino and was invited to an executive game. He won a pot and had the watch looked at and was told it was a fake so he gave it to me who’s loved jewelry and watches since I was a little boy. I wore it to school and kept it for years. One day I was at a jewelry store to buy a watch years later and was wearing it the jewelry took a look at it and told me it was real. And offered me $18k for it. Cracked and scratched. I was young and needed the money so I took it. I wish i held on to it it would probably be worth a lot more. It had the earth and bright colors huge face and diamond bezel. Black strap. Awesome piece. I’ve always loved Jacob’s items and designs
Jacob creates one of the best watches in the world. His imagination and then converting them to reality need a great amount of passion and love for your work.
From a watchmaking standpoint these watches are not that crazy - and they're large, what makes it even easier. Besides, watches get valued and sold for not only their real value, but mostly for the amount of prestige they give you. Therefore, beacuse RM is so recognizable, they trade better.
I was just in the NYC location with my wife and spoke with Craig for a while. These watches are so much more spectacular in person. Unbelievable detail and quality. True artwork.
Whenever I need some motivation I always watch your videos with Jacob to remind myself that all the work I do now will pay off one day, and on that day I will be able to afford one of the most beautiful and ground breaking watches ever made. If I somehow could make the dollars and cents line up, I would buy the Jean Bugatti watch yesterday; it is the most beautiful watch I have ever seen.

Don’t call this jewelleries are watch. In some watches, you take up to 1 minutes to know the time. It is the peace of art. But for me it have to show the time first in just one look. But some watches fails do that.
since you can't see the time on any clock, I suggest that you supplement the wall clock with a strap, maybe coffee can work, but you can definitely see what time it is
