Good review Steve, I think it's going to sell well for BGM, looks a good fit and a decent sound, although I hate box exhausts I like this one, keep up the good work
Fitted a V3 one recently after always having expansions...only issue is the impossibility of getting the nut onto the bridge piece bolt on the side casing side as the BGM box is too large, needs some sort of captive nut
Comimenti per la recenzione mi sei stato molto utile per decidere di comprare la marmitta bgm reverse.Ho una gori molto rumorosa e qui in italia si rischia la confisca del mezzo da parte delle forze del ordine.
Great vid, sounds sweet! Lovely looking Winter Model too, is that an aftermarket headlight rim on it? I tried a Bosatta so far on mine, kind of got it on after some whittling but not happy with it.
Thanks for the hint about the lower bracket. I have to have it‘s position changed too. The spring position is not great. Especially when the cowling is mounted and one spring falls off from the exhaust stub. Try getting it on without dismantling the cowling is almost impossible.
@@TheSteelweasel thats good to hear, I have a standard untuned RT195, with a ancelloti clubman on it, looking to increase the power as my tops out at 55mph, before i get to poss adding a reed, or changing the GP crank to a 60/110.
@@TheSteelweasel Personally Steve I don't like all this under body stuff for that reason and shit everywhere can't be avoided. I think this one of the ways of smothering the sound a bit, but has it's down side. Ground clearance? shit everywhere and as you say recycling of heat ? I don't think you can beat getting a nice looking pipe to the back of the bike where it belongs.
Brilliant explanation,s always.... very helpful to novice take care, keep up the great videos 📹 👍 😀 😊
That thing with the springs and the flange is really simple and smart. Good work! 👏
I like the sound of this exhaust system. Bill, old-timer from Florida, USA.
Another great review steve , well done mate you deserve a few beers now after all that 👍🍻
cheers mate , fitting an exhaust is a ten minute job so they say 😂😂😂😂
@@TheSteelweasel yeh thats if the engine is on the workbench 😜
Love it , cracking review

I have changed from bgm to sip clubman .... it fits better and has good performance...... add a tail pipe muffler and its perfect . And less money
Sounds sweet
I like the deep, throaty sound.
They look great quality now but I prefer the look of the Avanti Ex Box ST

Regarding supplied gasket, use it or go Annealed copper gasket?
Great vid and useful info as per normal 😉
COPPER MATE 👍

I’ve just had one delivered and wondered if this will fit straight on my bgm ts1 stub as it only came with RT type stub
DONT SEE WHY NOT ? fit stub and down pipe as one , dont try to fit pipe to stub in place it wont fit when bolted down ???????
Cheers Steve that was great, was that a reed valved RT195?
nope its a rt 195 i tuned no reed valve , running 24mm pwk ...... goes very well indeed

That sound s a lot better than an avanti they are load as hell 😆😆😆😆
Will this not Suck exhaust gases back into the fan cowling?
it points to the floor ? so i dont this so but very good point made hot gasses into your cooling stream is not good .

Hi Steve
Got one for my 186 mugello, built on a spanish casing but no hole underneath for fixing it,is that normal?
Early models like series 2 etc didn't have the lug to mount underneath it was added in later models to stop exhaust braking.....
great video but anyone riding without gloves is a clown.especially when another clown pulls out in front of you.
😚
Sounds sweet
