😭

Wise words
Or both
Love how Ludwig and Charlie Post a video within 3 seconds of each other
It's like a game of which one comes up first in the sub box
It's like they planned it :o
Wym Ludwig and Charlie? This is mogul mail and penguinz0
And I love you(the tv show)
Who is Ludwig this is mogul 😅😅
No matter how much respect I can give you and Charlie, I cannot force myself to watch valorant
real
Agreed. But I do wish them the best regardless
if csgo wasnt so expensive and shti in NA id suggest they get a cs team but prolly never happening.
@@ahmadaimam That i would watch
I’d suggest they’d get an Echo Arena team. It’d be super cheap comparatively and would get them a foot into the VR Esports space.
But that can’t happen since the game is getting shut down.
Loving the initiative, I think possibly putting of a video of the 12 members together showcasing who they are to get newer viewers or viewers who are oblivious to the Val esports industry rooting for these individuals. The video revenue can also can be put towards your team. In any case, love the new project!
yes please!! always want more personality & fun vids from/with the players in every esport. im currently deep into rocket league and i take any content i can get with my fav players which usually isnt a lot lol
This feels like that talk from that friend who is in way to deep at a pyramid scheme and really needs the money, and you just hear him out because you love him and are just happy he's doing something productive with his life.
I couldn’t figure out what this scenario reminds me of, but this is very similar to how European soccer works. Could be interesting, I’m not into esports, but I’ll give it a go and watch. However, I must agree it does come off like a buddy trying to sell you cutco knives or something along those lines.
loll why is this comment so on the mark
Is this just a UK thing, but if someone is trying to sell you something with the term ‘moist’ in it, you RUN
@@lordchaa1598 In European soccer, there are different divisions and you "ascent" when you finish (usually) top 2 with a relegation game for place 3 in the season (in one tournament). Except being able to reach the higher tier devision, it is not similar at all.
I could say with getting points that only matter to reach play-offs it is very similar to how American sports work.
@@Lucymai12 , I see where you’re coming from, but in the US minor league teams never get a chance at the big time. They’re just developmental leagues. Where as with English soccer for instance they have a professional league and then an under league (or something along those lines, I’m not completely sure), but the two best teams from the lower league get to replace the 2 lowest performers in the professional league. That’s where I was attempting to come from.
I just saw the title and wondered why he was making a Mogul mail on himself
@yes that was so funny. please keep going, so incredibly hilarious.
@yes you will never be funny
The thing is, if lud and Charlie actually pull this off, meaning turning a profit and sustaining popularity, it will completely change the landscape for esports forever.
I've been tuning in to this tournament almost every time that there's matches on. It's insane that you and Charlie have a team competing in it.
"Lud" really thought he could manipulate us into thinking he scammed again

Why did you put his name in quotations?
so do you think the man in the vid is not lud, why the quotations?

It’s so cool to see two of my favourite UA-camrs team up in such a substantial way
The idea of a bidet sponsored team called “moist moguls” is just hilarious to me
Let's go Moist Moguls!!! Much love and respect to Charlie for helping make this happen. Moist Fighting!
The goats esport was a much better name
Actually sent a submission to Charlie about signing breakthru (the team that moist signed), so glad this came to fruition. Picking up this team is a great choice, with the right backing this team could absolutely upset the big names in the league.
@Oprator Did zoomers just discover Rick Roll?
@@RJRJ *Did you just discover how bots advertise for videos
@@RJRJ yes all the baby zoomers just rediscovered it. History is a flat circle
So glad u guys came together, I know how much Charlie doesn’t like val and I’m so glad I can cheer for the best esports team (moist) while watching my favourite game
Ludwig: "hey fans could you finance my new bad idea? just be a fan"
bro i think its a good idea
Who'd have thought transparency and passion would be a positive force in a community? /s
Glad to see you guys explaining the costs associated with E-sports. The youth and more importantly tomorrows top talent seem to believe all these orgs and teams make millions when in reality they're burning someone elses millions hoping for a return. The players usually have no idea what's going on and just have the pressure to shut up and do their best. I see bright things in the horizon for E-sports and I bet you guys are proud to say you're a huge factor in it.
It was indeed refreshing and nice to listen to.
You know, I legitimately dont care about Esports. But Ludwig tells stories in such interesting and captivating ways, that I watch his videos about Esports.
Damn... Best I can do for you and Charlie is like and watch every video you make about it, might occasionally leave a stream in the background too
Glad I watched this in time
I'll definitely watch. Some of my favorite Charlie content is him watching his teams
I loved that these were posted at the same time! What a team up!
hey ludwig, a cool idea to expand esports would be to either integrate onto apps like espn where you get updates on all kinds of sports or make an app like it for esports. honestly i’m only able to stayed invested in sports because of that app, and my biggest issue with esports is there is no central location for checking scores and being in the know. i can’t watch every celtics game but i’m always up to date on them and buying jerseys for them because i can check the standings, specific games, and stats. just an idea, and i’d love to help create the app for you, and if not id just love to see this happen. one of the main reasons i haven’t gotten into esports is because this doesn’t exist.
this is a great idea actually - have a hard time with Fortnite as well. Updates/where to watch and tournament standings all in one place
Its because there are too many esports and too many leagues for various games. No one has the time to do live updates on these games and getting backing for this will be an added net loss. We had something like that for LoL (Surrender@20) regarding each patch and same thing. Donations, ad revenue, etc couldnt keep everything up.
You’d be better off making an app for a single game or team. Otto could probably make a Moist eSports app that keeps you updated on all the moist teams, but anything more than that would be too big an undertaking
Good idea!!
@The Grinch 🅥 yo you should go to school and learn how to end it all :)
I now have a reason to watch Valorant esports
Im super hyped for this Lud. I'll see you on stream at 6pm
It’s crazy how fast both Mogul Mail and Charlie put out a video on this issue. Now I’m just waiting for a video from the biggest investor, Ludwig.
Also first
😂😂😂😂

Expecting a lot more Mogul Mail uploads to make up the loss...
“How’d I convince him I told him I’ll go halvies”
He really did get scammed
Lud explaining how valorant works is like me explaining the AOT storyline to my dad who sleep watches it.
I like that eventually, content creators look towards creating a business with using their platforms to gain recognition
Make money after youtube*
Been following DSG from Day 1. I gotta root for them first. But I will absolutely root for the Moist Moguls as long as they aren’t playing DSG 💯
fair 🤝
DSG!!!!
Actually really excited to see the tournament
so hyped to watch these games - it'll be nice to have another team to support after watching my old favourite teams get ripped apart by franchising
Charlie got scammed? Wow, now that's a new one for me.
Rip beyond the summit. I feel bad for the ult summit players that were gonna play next month
if Ludwig throwin watch parties for these games. Im so in.
bts closing right as he says "probably another going bust this week" hit hard
Yet again Ludwig be spitting fax
I've never clicked a mogul mail faster
You had me at Cleveland Browns 🙌🏼
Lud really coming after my Cleveland Browns unprompted like damn bro who hurt you
It might also help turn a team into something marketable if they became content creators themselves, with their own channel. You manage the content idea and do the planning and get them together for an hour or so and make the video, which then goes up on the team's channel and gets people invested in the team as personalities. The video you made testing Valorant player's accuracy in game and then with a paintball gun comes to mind. The content would generate revenue and make people interested in the team because they know the players instead of just knowing the team through you and charlie.
They dropped within 3 seconds of each other😭
watching the moist stream of the recent big apex tournament was one of the best "esports" experiences Ive had, and Ive barely logged 50 hours in apex, hope valorant will just as enjoyable
Tier 2 is scary, good luck mogul moist because this is gonna be STRESSFUL
If your team wins VCT, I'll legit get a tattoo of our team name on me
I already pledged my allegiance to DSG but I hope Moist Moguls do well :)
The fact that he corrects his joke about the Browns in the data sheet is hilarious
Honestly I could see this being a brilliant move. This is like the next version of lets plays just on crack and 500,000x more expensive but I could see this being something that your entire, massive, community gets behind and gets into seeing your team attempt to go from teir two to teir one and see the brand grow. As someone that got to see Optic gaming do a similar thing (granted I became a fan of them after the first event of bo2) but giving people a brand to love and feel as though they were an early adopter of something that becomes great can create some true loyality to a brand, I am very interested to see the brand grow and even more interested to see how you handle people not liking things moving as fast as they want. I would suggest doing something similar to optics old vision series where you follow around the pros and show both the lows and the highs, personally I love seeing the behind the seens of the esports world.
hey ludwig I know you might not see this but a lot of people would love to watch your team grow and I'd love the idea of you commentating matches live on stream if that would be possible as a way of both making content out of it but also bringing more people to care about the team etc
Woulda watched if the algorithm didn't take 3 days to show me this
Bro... Turtle Troops logo.... no man... AHHAHAH It's fricken hilarious lmdfaooo
On the one hand its crazy to see how this decision is impacting them and how the logistics of a esports team works.
On the other hand a sick little part of me is focusing on how they just are spending the price of a full house like that.
From now on, I am a die-hard, life-long fan of the Moist Moguls
He spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to make an esports team and chose the middest game possible 💀
Love both of your guys content 💯 can’t wait for the Moist/mogul merch 💦💯
I'll wait til you sign me to sit in the stands lol
This mogul guy looks a lot like ludwig
Nah, I'd argue Ludwig looks more like him
AYO BIGGEST FAN RIGHT HERE
I'm hyped, excited, and will be watching.... but why did you and Charlie wait until a few hours before for these videos.
rollin a j listenin to ludwig great way to end the night
MoistMogul is such a better name than the reverse. I really hope this goes well for everyone involved.
idk if its as much of a lost because then you and charlie get to make content on it like this video that will bring more views than if you just reported on valo drama or just played the game. so having this team opens up for a lot more content possibilities.
THESE DANG CHARLIE THUMBNAILS!!
I’ve got nothing against Mr. Mogul Mail, but it’s really jarring when I click on a video expecting Charlie, put my phone in my pocket and all I hear is Lud
We need a Video Game High School style of ESports league.
Take all of the influencers and players and make a show out of it.
Ludwig and Moist scammed the most people then any streamer there is.
Personally I think Charlie should handle most esports for the org and Ludwig should create a content team, to make smash events, other events etc, think it would be cool to see Ludwig bring people into the fold and get them creating but I guess the downside is managing content creation, hard to keep on top of people who maybe don’t always wanna make the content but I think splitting responsibilities and then maybe even both Lud and Charlie doing the content team! For example, I’d love to see collabs between Rizzo (the like one content dude for moist) and Lud/Charlie with other streamers
rizzo was such a perfcet pickup for moist, he'd definitely gel well with lud and charlie :D he legit blends in with my other favorite streamers so well, i was really impressed when i first started watching cause he just seems to fit the streamer/content role so well for an ex-pro player. love the idea of seeing lud do more content stuff for the org!
"I suck at Valorant... So I bought a team"
Lol sounds like a true lesson in sunk cost fallacy
Not Cleveland Browns catching strays! lmao
I can't think of anything I care less about than esports. I wish you guys the best of luck :)
I can't even imagine what reality I would have to live in to casually burn six figures with a smile on my face a month.
As a Cleveland browns fan I really wasn’t expecting to catch a stray in this video. Well played.
I really love Lud being able to do whatever he wants at this point, it’s amazing to see what comes out of it!
Ludwig is the biggest name out there right now but he hasn't lost who he is. I'd be honored to support a guy with a dream. Let's go Moist Moguls 😎
Dang this Mogul Mail guy looks a lot like Ludwig
A better comparison for the tier 1-tier 2 would be the AHL and NHL for hockey
Ppl who were appauled at the news of the guard letting go their staff, parts of this video should likely explain why an esports org isn't necessarily the most atractive business venture out there. High costs without a clear way to profitability makes you operate on mostly hopes and dreams.
Damn, charlie got moby huged
Man, with that money I could pay the debt of my parents. Heck, I only need like 20K to pay and this people lose 250k like nothing.
Keep working for it man, you can get there too.
I just watched a 10+ minute advertisement. how tf is Ludwig so captivating xD
Classic Ludwig behavior
Interested to watch this saga, I've been working full time in IT for like 10+ years, but I've done casting for about 6, on a professional level in the last 3 and have been working on transitioning my career full time into esports (especially since my company just laid off 50% of us) - discussing profitability in esports with industry veterans, you'd think it's actually impossible through the actual esports events.
I've had 4+ hour conversations with some of the people who coordinate the biggest events in the states for the major games, and a lot of the common problems are just that generating revenue through events that actually pays salaries for the "league" just isn't going to happen on the scale of something like the NFL or NBA. First off you have a WAY more saturated market in eSports (Major league sports and their associated minor leagues have a fraction of the players that the overall eSports industry does), so even though their salaries don't compare to a professional athlete, it adds up very quickly by the volume of players, and the events themselves even with crazy viewership at best cover the costs of production, venue, etc. You paid some ridiculous number for your seats at worlds, and it probably didn't even cover a tenth of what they paid Nas and his dancers to be there. Nevermind the venue, the camera equipment, talent, security, and so on.
I am 100% in your corner on the marketability of the orgs, and it's not exactly a new thing as orgs like 100T have been trying to pivot to that for a while now, but it's something that really needs to be doubled down on. When I worked on the major circuit for Naraka, our head of production tried to convince the devs - who were funding their own circuit - to have the four of us casters/hosts out to cali for a few days prior to the season finals to do some marketing videos and "for fun" shit like naraka theme rock climbing or whatever, and they wouldn't bite.. but that is the exact type of stuff viewers love. That's why you see Ovilee and Flowers in their PJs on a pod set talking about their highschool relationships get 300k views. When you see the brand deals and collabs that pro athletes do, it's kind of a no-brainer.
I think the Ludwig/Charlie brand recognition is easily enough to carry the team brand to success if the content is managed correctly, so I don't see this as an issue (and judging by your tone on this video I get the sense you don't either), curious to see how ya'll innovate. Honestly the biggest issue with all of this is the way you pronounce Valorant. If you ever need someone to bounce ideas off, hit me up, I *am* looking for work lol
