Craig... You are killing us with the GIFs... Cmon bro
His edits are something a 15 year old would do on iMovie
I don't click the like button when I see GIFS .
So true, thanks for pointing that out
Craig send the vids out for editing...
1. You opened the “frunk” with the emergency release. The button is in the center console.
2. The windows leak because they need an adjustment about every 10 years. It takes 15 minutes. After that the noise will go away.
3. No car matches the handle on the fuel icon with the side used for filling. They use an ARROW. Not all cars, but the cars that specify side use an arrow.
4. To activate the immobilized, press once. To deactivate press once. When you press twice, you deactivate and reactivate, which is why you’re having problems. IMPORTANT NOTE: Your new style key has a built in immobilizer which deactivates automatically. That’s the reason why the previous owner upgraded. It’s a popular feature. So if you use the remote with the new key, you’ll have all kinds of issues lol.
Just wanted to give some clarity.
One more thing: the reverse handle needs to be lightly pulled up and back, not just pressed back as shown in your vid. That’s why it doesn’t always work.
A 47k ferrari is like a 200k chevy . Thats why people pay premium for low miles
Car guy with vast knowledge. Thanks for the education
@@augustbaby8254 every ferrari forum could have told him that but he is either ignorant or just to make youtube video drama
I’ve learned quite a bit from his vids. Sales trends, economics, auction tips, etc., etc. I’m just the oddball who daily drives these cars and services them myself so I’ve learned the hard way. But what people don’t realize is these cars are robust and not that hard to maintain. I have well over 100k miles of driving in F1-equipped cars and my personal daily is a 2001 360. The one in the vid is a nicely optioned example and with about 1-days worth of adjustments would be perfect.
Hi I’m Craig from crying wheels
Exactly all this guy does is cry and complain. Car dealers have it easy they work 4 hours a day and beat down mechanics, painters etc to make more money.
Also, more dollars than sense.@@redneck4528
@@redneck4528God you are insane.

Remember kids: if you work hard and are wise with your money you are not allowed to have anything annoy you in life ever. It might trigger jealousy in idiots.
I like the fact that you made this video and at the same time being humble about it. Especially when you let those kids sit in the Ferrari.
The coolest thing you did was letting the teenagers sit in the car. To them you are the coolest guy in the world. Waving to the little kid who was so impressed why you drove past. That's what brings new people into the sport.
I absolutely love giving my friends the opportunity to drive my 2006 mustang convertible. The Joy it gives me is unbelievable. I call it my memory maker.
That was me as a kid
Maybe you should have brought your Ferrari to Mecum auction as it would have fit in with the types of vehicles that auctions is more known for.
I love when normies offer advice when they have no idea what the life of a go-getter is like. Smh
Probably didn't because the market for them is crashing, and it was more fun to watch him lose his ass with the crap he brought
Warning, this is a longer post, but keep in mind that is meant as constructive criticism from a fan that loves your channel and appreciates learning new things… it is amazing what can be done and accomplished with a positive attitude everyone runs into obstacles it’s how you handle those obstacles that determines your success in life. Acceptance is usually the first stage in any and every situation that you find yourself in…. Accept that you You have found yourself in an uncomfortable situation and then on your part of it because Ferrari doesn’t care Art going to help you so accepting that you need to overcome those obstacles and conquer them will be the first step. The next step is how you approach it, victim, mentality, and a negative approach are just a wasted energy, consuming nonproductive pathway .
That being said, it appears that you have become a Ferrari snob, it appears mainly because you are lying to yourself to believe that a high dollar car should be luxurious and without problems 🤣 “more money more problems” 🎶 …it is a race car inspired street car…most of the problems you list seem to be whining and a misunderstanding of what you bought…it is a prestige, “Ferrari” thing. Not intended to be practical or comfortable…every car has its quirks, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bentley, Porsche, Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, etc…being a car guy you should understand that each manufacturer has a different goal and target customer…You are not a Ferrari guy…it is that simple…every car has its problems…EVERY CAR! You need to understand what you are buying before buying…you understand car buying from a “profitable” standpoint and knowing understanding your target customers but you have proven that you do not understand the Ferrari customers mindset…it is a prestige thing and prestige comes with a WAY different mindset…your whiny attitude has gotten to the point of annoying, because of that I find myself skipping many of your videos…. The boat series really helped me to understand your poor approach to things that you aren’t overly knowledgeable with…You had NO business buying that boat and should have NEVER worked on it yourself AFTER buying it anyway. One of the first things I do before buying anything is research it and try to understand its quirks, reliability and serviceability . If you had just done basic homework, you would’ve realized the problems that might arise from finding parts and someone to service them and probably would have passed on the purchase in the first place.
The fiberglass repair and repeatedly bringing out a sinking boat on the water was one of the most foolish things I think I have ever saw you do… given the fact that you had your family, friends and even children with you. I know you are a smart guy and I wish your approach with the Boat and Ferrari is knowing that many people do exactly what you did, and rather than complaining about Ferrari or the boat, educate people, and come from a standpoint of. “ if you do this or find yourself in this situation, then you need to be prepared to overcome many different obstacles”…a boat, sports car, commuter car, are all the same when it comes to buying a used vehicle without warranty. You either need to be very mechanical and able to maintain or be able to afford to have someone else fix it (out of warranty and taken the new car depreciation to make it more affordable/attainable)…. That is the whole life that you live in selling used cars. My wife and I never buy new but like to buy slightly used, “nicer” vehicles so we will typically buy a higher mileage, better equipped vehicle than a lower mileage, more basic vehicle, but the whole reason in us being able to afford that is accepting the fact we will save lots of money by being able to do basic maintenance and minor repairs ourselves versus a paying a dealership. I learned long ago shortly after I got married. (26 years ago) that I could save/make money repairing myself. Younger and married. We didn’t have much money so when the brakes went out on our luxury sedan and the dealership, quoted us a price that we couldn’t afford I quickly learned that I could buy all the tools and parts half for the money that I would’ve had to pay the dealership, plus then I would have tools for further repairs. $900 for the dealership to do it and cost me $460 for all the parts and tools which was basically a beginner mechanic set from craftsman plus a couple of specialty related tools. My wife is much like your wife in the sense that she knows what she likes and if you put her in a situation that she does not like it will not go well she does not have a can-do attitude, and it will be full of negativity instead of a positive learning experience.
21:42 I've had a Nissan GTR since 2019. I have never once launched it for fear of it breaking 😂 You buy these things for the great things that they can do but then spend too much time being scared to do them.
I owned a Ferrari for a few years it was a fun car expensive to fix when it cost me the same money to change the f-ing timing belt that you can buy a decent Toyota Camry for I sold it.
I had wanted a 308 convertible very badly.. Thank you for satisfying that desire as now I no longer whatever purchased a Ferrari. I lived it in your videos and I'm exhausted when I think of trying to own one.
well, this isn't a 308. The 308 is a completely analog vehicle. Carbed, single clutch manual, just like a corvette. Go watch Lou Trottier's 308 build he's restoring one from the ground up I mean just about every nut and bolt.
308 models don't have a convertible option - 308 GTB is a hard top and the 308GTS has a Targa top that you can remove something similar to T - tops that were used on American muscle cars in the 80's
Buddy you need to go out on your own and explore the things you want to explore. Not listen to a guy in a youtube video. Especially from Craig with crying wheels. There's always going to be someone complaining about something and some poeple just shouldn't touch cars. You could have the most reliable car in the world and there's going to be poeple saying how bad it is
I would buy another Corvette any day before a Ferrari or exotic. Corvette is solidly built, easy to do mods, and reasonable to repair in comparison to exotics.
Stop lying....
As long as the shirt, hat and shoes went with it, it's not a loss
That's funny!
Next week on Flying Wheels: Why having a hot girlfriend sucks
Step 1. Get a hot girlfriend
It does kind of suck. Eating at Edo Japan and having 2 dudes that look like theyre named Blake and Chad walk in and say "hey what's up I haven't seen you in a while"
Poor baby. Don’t you hate it when your champagne goes flat?
Worst thing you can do in a single clutch is long back up especially up hill. Dude wife just took 5%off the clutch backing up with the e brake on.
seriously right!? that was painful and they look happy...
yeah every time she took her foot off the brake the clutch was screaming NOOOOOO NOOOOOO NOOOOO lol
She makes this video very expensive!!!🙈
New owner can deal with dat.
In high school the iroc Z was the thing... Bought a mint one years later and what a disappointment..rode like a lumber wagon..t-tops leaked , rattled and was gutless...sold it ..hated it .
Hey Craig.. just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your content..thank you for your dedication.. I follow you all the way from the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC 🇩🇴..GOD BLESS
Awesome show my friend.
I do love the entry level. Luxury/finer stuff. I deal with questions of if I want these kind of problems. Makes you question if it’s important enough. You gave an accurate assessment of pros and shedding light on the cons. I’ll vent vicariously through you.
I have always wanted a Ferrari as well but have always been told they aren't practical maybe the newer ones are but still maintaining one is rediculous and the insurance. Thanks for taking one for the team! 💪 🤣
I don’t know much about the high end cars like these.
But, what high end make/models are actually practical cars??? I think of them more of a Sunday driver type of vehicle.
@@dj1698 Aston Martin DB9 was.....with a manual. The issues arise with the dual clutch trans etc.
The 2 best ferraris ever built: Ferrari Daytona from Miami Vice and the 250 GT from Ferris Bueller. Why? They were both corvettes with ferrari bodies.
I saw a ferrari guy review of the 250 and he said just standing beside it? if you didn't know you couldn't tell. Then he drove it. Other than the sound, and the feel of the shifter, it performed just as well.
FYI - your reverse lever is broken. It's a fragile plastic piece that most valets break. If not broken, it should require you to pull up on the reverse lever prior to pulling it back. That way it doesn't engage accidentally. Mine was broken on our 360 and I replaced it with an aftermarket metal one - much, much better.
If the car doesn't start when the imobilizer is solid red, it's most likely the brake pedal switch. This took me a long time to figure out. If it's not starting, then simply push harder on the brake pedal, or release the pedal and stomp on it again -> should start (if it's like mine).
-Wayne
P.S. Don't buy a convertible 360 - buy a coupe and save all of the troubles.
It was a $280,000 car when new. It gets treated as queen always garaged never seen winter or really cold sub zero days & the convertible top leaks. I have a 2016 Mazda MX-5 Club soft top & it gets driven in 4 season weather. It has seen some of the worst weather in my 52 years of driving. Costed $30,000 never leaked once in those 6.5 years driving it. Thru snow / ice / sub zero temperatures / extremely hot humid 90 degree days. I do my OWN oil changes / wheel, tire changes & added the after market parts to the car. Cheap to maintain & insure ! This is when a $30,000 car beats a $280,000 money pit any day of the week & provides more pure driving fun !
@@ag4allgood*183k
Craig, take the Ferrari to a Ferrari dealer and see what they offer for it in cash and trade. That's a fair weather car, store it and keep it cause you don't have a lot invested, or sale it and move forward to the next flip.
99.9% of people would be much better off buying a C8
and they are no picnic either with all their QC problems.
Never ever I felt embarrassed by the Linkin Park! And you shouldn’t to!:)
Quick! Somebody call a WAAAAAAMBULENCE!
You can fix some of your issues easily. You can have the immobilizer disabled and you can get brake pads that make less dust.
Thanks for buying that car for us. You saved me a lot of heart ache as I now no longer want one.
Sign of a "poser"- wearing a Ferrari Jacket while driving a $55,000 Ferrari
Quick question: Are people not allowed to wear branded labels on their jackets? What if he had a Gucci, Nike, or Louis Vuitton jacket-would that make a difference? And if he wore a Ferrari jacket around people who own Pagani and Bugatti cars, that would imply they have more money than him so would it be ok for him to be the poor guy in the room with the Rari jacket… if he was wearing a Mustang or Corvette jacket would it then be OK in your eyes?
Hey, ship that bad boy out to me in Arizona and let me see how "terrible" it is!!!🤪BTY, I LOVE the content that you did at the auction....what a roller coaster, best part was your dad and brother on camera!!! Keep up the great videos!!!
You should spend the money on the aftermarket gated conversion kit. They aren’t to expensive for that car and it will increase the value of that car. Plus you won’t have that headache of the f1 wear. You will be able to sell that car faster.
Appreciate the honest ownership review.
Love the back to vlog style videos
Another good reason to buy a Ferrari with mileage. Everything is already broken and not fixed because it cost so much to repair.
If it's a Ferrari, it's "Spider". Other cars, it's "Spyder". @20:54... It's not moving cause the parking brake is on.
Let’s be honest, you aren’t a D-bag for having a bunch of silly expensive cars.. you are a D-bag for owning the hat and the jacket!
Now a coffee mug…. That’s cool.
I enjoyed the entire series. Do some more panther platform stuff! Maybe a Mercury Marauder?
Thanks for not having background music playing throughout the vid!
Hey Craig, I hit the like button for you.
What!? A negative video! Omg God! The sky is falling! 😂
They have all been negative lately. Still can't wait to see them! 😜👍
The GIFs, man, you are defining "cringeworthy" using so many. Simply cannot watch this video.
I just love your videos. SO honest, SO real. Unlike you (unless I win the lotto) I will never own a Ferrari. I have relatives (wife's) who live on Wash Pond (not exactly Winnipesaukee) and a former co-worker who lives on Great Pond. Know the area a bit and have driven close to your place several times in the past. Thank you for all of the great content and future success. I am definitely on Team Uris and hopin' you get one!
The old saying you’ll like it more than your money… Not … As you had said, the smart thing to do would be to buy 10k to $20,000 cars and turn them and keep your money working. And over the years, it will establish a very good customer base for you as you get older where you have customers families coming back to you continually to buy good quality cars. I watched a friend of mine, do this over the course of 40 years and I think it’s up amazing recipe for success. I doing this, will not get you views probably but it will get you customers
Props to you on driving your exotics. Life is short, buy, drive, enjoy, sell. Repeat.
Craig, I got ya on the parking thing.
I collected old Corvettes and had to park in the boonies. And STILL someone in a 90's Escort parks right next to it!
Every complaint for this car has a logical answer as many of the comments stated. The issues are all first time exotic owner issues, also small town issues as you don’t have the friend circle to get the corrections.
Craig, would you agree that Ferrari is more reliable than Porches w Boxter engine's?
No
I couldn't do it. If the car rattles im out. Traded a few Corvettes cause they rattled. If you find one that is tight and doesnt leak in the car wash its a keeper
14:02 ive got a 1970 Challenger. Talking about people talking to you. If i drive that car i have to plan an extra hour to get somewhere, cause I also have to get gas every time and it always brings a conversation lol
I can't wait for the urus series, we all knew a ferrari was a financial mistake but youtube made it a big score, but really, how much people are able to say they owned a ferrari? I know you had one before but still , thanks for the entertainment and for pushing unnecessary buttons or working harder like with the mecum auction just to entertain us, keep doing your thing and bringing car and non-cat related content craig
Got a laugh about your frustrations- I could relate if I had a nice car like that and things didn’t work the way we want it to.
Either way thanks for taking us along.
You should trade that Ferrari in for an old RR. You'll love how quiet it runs. I've never heard anyone complain about the F. engine noise.
I love Ferrari’s dude, I’m looking to buy one soon !!!!
"In today's video it's going to be all negative", Craig, bud, you've been "all negative" in the past like dozen videos. You literally complain/cry/bemoan more than any other youtuber I, or really anyone else, watch. It must be exhausting constantly seeing the negative in every situation you get yourself into.
Next time buy a 458. No timing belts to worry about, the clutch is designed to last the life of the vehicle, same with the brakes (unless you track it often), the gas fill is on the right side of the car (and it opens without the key in the ignition), it's so much faster and more reliable than the 360. People will still want to race you however.
I think being a “used Ferrari” owner is a different experience than buying brand new one.
Watching you lose your mind with this car has been priceless to me. No matter how bad a day I have, ❤
thanks for keeping it real Craig.
You will eventualy sell that car, and in the years to come you will not regret the sale of it. Like a boat or plane, best day of your life!
Yup!
You need to put the Scud stripes back on. I can’t believe you removed them. 🤦🏾♂️
I said the same......it looks plain jane now..but we were in the minority so....
Its cool to see a video like this because when i see these cars on the street i always wonder the downsides.
When I had one of my Alfa Romeo Spiders, I heard that all Italian cars have small bores because they're taxed on the size of one cylinder. So a 12 cylinder 3 liter exotic car costs an Italian less than a big bore 4 cylinder. I like the Nissan GT-S you have more than this Ferrari. Probably higher performance and will go about 1000 times as far before it breaks.
Craig don’t you hate when you go out and park far away and you come back and of all the available parking space someone parks next to you 😂 it grinds my gears!
That door close sounded like a 70's truck.
Owned 3 back in the 90s. None could compare to the Porsches I've own. In fact several of my jags were better both for performance, and comfort. But the real problem is the service.. I paid $100 in the mid-90s for a radiator cap. Please , give me a break.
$30 of gas? Where are you going, the next gas station?
I wonder what this would have brought back at the auction the other 5 cars were at?
24:00 Thats why I never like to talk about my cars or "nice" things I have. It just makes me feel like that.
Same
I hate Craig's rants on owning a Ferrari. Come on bro let's move on. This story is played you've got every last dollar out of it.
Honestly u saw way more good things in the video than bad, and the bad isnt really bad. The car is great, just needs to be a coupe
Hey Craig here from crying wheels and this is my 400 dollars Ferrari
Never liked the color combo of red with the tan leather. When it’s new it looks good, but with a little age most cars looks hideous. It has a black top…. Black interior looks better to me.
I love the style of Ferraris and Porches but I've never thought about owning one. Seems like they'd be too expensive to maintain. I like to appreciate them from afar ;-)
$183k is $318,691.76 in todays biden economy
First time watching your channel. You remind me of an older, more reserved stradman. Can't be a bad thing right? Also love the idea of starting with a few hundred bucks and flipping cars to buy a ferrari.
Ferrari DEFINITELY has the best car brand swag 😎 💯
I lost my book of CD's! My dream car was a 71 Chevelle SS convertible and I've owned 60 + cars and never owned a Chevelle. My idle in my price range would be a rotted out piece of crap. 🤣
You should be wealthy enough to own 3 so you’ll always have one to drive while the other two are being serviced or maintained. If you can’t do that, go buy a C8 Corvette.
You need to do an entire video on your BMX bikes and what you did originally when you started. I mean everything you did that got you started. I think it would be informative to everyone
I would enjoy that, too. BMX bikes were a huge part of my childhood
take the sticker off the front windshield

It just shows that you have no idea about owning a Ferrari, its not a bloody Corvette, which is a mass produced car.

I own and owned many Ferraris and never had any issues plus I actually end up making money on each one I ever owned after I enjoyed each car for a year or two before o flipped it. And by the way Craig your Ferrari wasn’t a $100k car when you got it originally but more like $70k-$75k tops Ferrari that you could have gotten at Manheim in Pennsylvania not buying it from a private owner. You’re a dealer with dealer’s license and full access to dealer auctions and you ended up buying this one from a private seller, why???
You are the only person I have ever heard of saying they have owned lots of ferraris and never lost a dollar or had a problem I have been in the business 35 years you are definitely the superstar of car dealers🤡😂😂
@@dakotaautosales9673 I’m a dealer principal and also been in the business for 30 years now and always owned new or slightly used Ferraris all under warranty and never had an issue getting them fixed or serviced in my life as long as I owned every Ferrari that I ever owned! I also wonder what franchised automotive group you work for just so o can call your dealer principal and ask him or her what type of a “superstar you are” at one of the stores that you may work for!!! 🤔

Craig is that officially licensed Ferrari clothing or did you get that off Temu?
If you bought any other 22 year old car you'd have similar issues regardless of the cost price of the car if whether it's a Fiat or a Ferrari.
Good that you got the car that you wanted and also that you sold it. It’s too bad about having a procedure to go through just to start up and get going. I would think having a mx5 would be as fun minus the exhaust and looks the Ferrari would get.
It wouldnt be a craig video without complaining and rantimg about having too much money
That's what you get out of his videos?
@@andydhillon1977 what do u get? All he does is complain about all his stuff he got and how much money he don't want to spend to do things right
104 unnecessary (overplayed and just dumb) jump cuts. One hundred and four. That doesn't include the ones I think were appropriate. That's almost 4 a minute. Is that really needed? It just breaks up the flow to your videos, terribly. Love your content, mostly, Craig. But lately your videos are becoming unwatchable and unenjoyable for me. Just my opinion.
I am not a Ferrari fan but you can’t compare a 21 year old car with tech of that time with cars of today, you should be doing that with a 458 or 488. Secondly this would be considered a high mileage Ferrari here in the UK it always makes me laugh when people try to tell you there is nothing wrong with high mileage cars then list all the problems they have with the car!! I Don’t want to point out the obvious here but that’s why low mileage cars are worth a lot more...
Wow Craig you’re an awesome used car salesman…this is broken, this is crap, fuel is expensive, parts are expensive, it gets terrible fuel mileage…it has high mileage…when I drive it I’m always expecting something to break…but it’s for sale and I’d like to get 100k 😂
That exhaust though. Looks uh unique.
Great commentary on why NOT to buy one!
I'll be honest, when I started watching for the "flip to a ferrari", I wasn't thinking you'd stop at a 100k used one. I thought you'd go to like, a Ferarri Roma, or something this year or next year. I think this is more of a buyers remorse kind of thing. It's like anything in life, be careful with what you wish for, you may just get it. but lets just be clear, this 80k car, cost you $400 and it's unlikely it even cost you that just from the youtube vids and exposure. I think you should get out of it, and go for the Urus. and then, from the Urus to like a Singer Porsche or Mclaren Speedtail. Don't stop, keep going.
Heard some Sublime in there! Nice!
Not watching anymore until the gifs stop! It’s insulting at this point..
You talk shit on kids modding their Subaru with ridiculous mods then go and put that decal on your windshield…
He can write it off as a business expense by putting that cheesy decal there.
Let’s be honest, Ferrari build quality is not great.
But it sounds awesomest😂
that kills me. They've been building cars for what, 85 yrs, you'd think they would figure out how to build a vehicle by now. It's the same as Bentley, they will use top notch materials in the interior, panels, leather, knobs, dials, but the mechanicals and electronics etc are garbage. Literally garbage. That's why they lose $150 to $200,000 in value in the first 5 yrs.
No shit. Beautiful awful car
