It’s not about believing. The Quoran claims to be the unfiltered word of god and for that reason needs to be flawless and perfect. If that is true how did it happen that it contains scientific mistakes saying such things like stars where little objects not far away from us and that the sun sank in a muddy spring at sundown? It just doesn’t. It doesn’t. You know just so you know: the bible isn’t better at this. It also includes scientific mistakes. However the Bible isn’t even a book but a collection of many books ans various texts written by different authors over centuries. Nobody claims that the Bible is unflawed because it’s unrealistic. However Islam often acts as if this would be new information. It isn’t. While Christians and Jews nowadays treat their scriptures in an attitude of „this is all we know“ - Muslim scholars still act as if they know the truth. So for instance: other then Jews Muslims believe that Jesus Christ (Isa) was the Messiah. However if you ask them WHAT a Messiah is (not WHO but what) you might barely get an answer for this. Different then Jews and Christians Muslims don’t read the book of Jessaja or Daniel (wich is scriptured in the Bible) in wich the Messiah is prophecized 800 years before Jesus was born. Unfortunate Muslim scholars don’t care about that since they believe the entire Bible- so all 66 books are flawed and somehow not worth to be read? Well you can see the Dilemma. Anyway Muslims still don’t know why Messiahnic Jews and Christians believe Jesus is the Messiah. Part of it that it was prophesied there would be a passion of the Messiah - that he would be convicted and found guilty even though he was innocent and burried in a rich man‘s grave. In the gospel it tells us every bit of this. And it does this so accurately that it actually quite shocking. However Jews don’t know that - because most of them don’t read the New Testamony. And Muslims don’t know that because they don’t believe in anything that was scriptured before them.

While Christians and Jews nowadays treat their scriptures in an attitude of „this is all we know“ - Muslim scholars still act as if they know the truth.
So for instance: other then Jews Muslims believe that Jesus Christ (Isa) was the Messiah.
However if you ask them WHAT a Messiah is (not WHO but what) you might barely get an answer for this.
Different then Jews and Christians Muslims don’t read the book of Jessaja or Daniel (wich is scriptured in the Bible) in wich the Messiah is prophecized 800 years before Jesus was born.

If the quran confirms that Christians should judge by the Gospel, then Christians realise Jesus is God becuase of the gospel, then why does it also say fight those who do not believe in Allah. The just is if the quran confirms the bible, which it does, then the bible is the word of Allah, but the bible mention nothing of allah or of anything of Islam therefor if the quran make a truth claim about the bible and the bible shows to be correct and that the quran and islam are wrong then you have your book confirming the bible at the same time the bible buries your book. I would hope that you don't just take my word but read your quran and the hadiths

The reason the Quran came after the bible was because actually Muslims were using the bible to worship Allah ( swt ) until a man named Paul corrupted the bible and so Allah made the Quran and to spread it he chose messengers to spread islam that’s the reason islam came after Christianity if Paul never corrupted it us Muslims would be Christians but pray to Allah.
