I saw it all when it was new. Spent my formative years with those incredible talents on my TV screen. Grew up in the wilds near Toronto, but eventually got to see some of their stage revues at the venerable Old Firehall, basically a dinner theatre, and saw all these original cast members on stage. Plus others whose work was equally brilliant -- Peter Aykroyd, Robin Duke, Tony Rosato. And Levy as Trebek ("Alex Trebel") is spot-on in presenting Trebek's frustration with some of his dozy & ditzy high school contestants on "Reach For the Top," a classically stodgy Canadian idea of a game show from the 1960s and 70s. I used to marvel at the brilliance of some, and the stupidity of others. SCTV's team nailed it!

Me too, I'm very thankful to have grown up watching that during my formative years. I remember some saying that they "hated" the seventies, I feel blessed honestly

It's not the first SCTV skit to get lifted by SNL, whoever wrote the Jeopardy sketches owes these folks a big thank you.

I agree. Will Ferrell does a great Eugen Levy/Alex Trebek impression.

I’ve always heard of this show because it had so many of my favorite comedians on it who I loved growing up, but being in the US I never watched it. I am really enjoying these shows and it is really cheering me up.

One of the funniest comedy sketch shows ever! All the cast were wonderful and I never laughed so hard at some of the characters they played. Since it is off the air, I got several DVDs of the show and love to watch them from time to time.

Oh my gosh. It's like someone took all the people who made my work in retail a living hell and put them in a game show.
