Underfunded teams always take the hardest hits
B2 B true
Always gotta push the hardest with the least equipment, recipe for disaster.
*licks
It's also a harder financial hit.
It’s because they get the worse drivers.
I still can't believe McDowell walks away from that crash.
Christopher Mathern Michael McDowell was DEFINITELY a “lucky dog” to walk away from that nasty crash.
You ain’t kiddin. Every time I watch this it makes the hair on my neck stand up. Elliot saddlers Pocono crash was nasty as hell as well.
Just goes to show the safety improvements of these cars, 10 years ago or no safer barrier he doesn't walk away
When?
That one was the worst I have seen
“Oh for Pete’s sake brother”
2:00
😂
Nobody:
NASCAR commentators: "that's a hard lick"
😛
Or he hit that wall a ton
I watched the Michael McDowell crash live. The speed indicator they put on the TV screens was reading, I think, 183 mph at the point of impact. The fact that he walked away from that crash is impressive beyond words.
I seen his crash live also. One of the most horrendous crashes I’ve ever seen. The sound of the impact could be heard all over the racetrack
@@coreymiller626 i know im a year late, blah blah blah, but when someone wrecks that bad on a qualifying run, only thing you hear from the pit area is a loud bang, skidding, and complete silence after.
The sound of the impact in one of the tv replays, even not live was sickening.
187 it was
@therealchrisgames6830 OK. Either way it was a nasty hit.
Why do I always think of either Travis Pastrana or Ricky Stenhouse when someone says qualify wrecks.....🤔
Because both of them can’t keep their car staright
*Wrecky Stenhouse jr
@@liliango52 wreck spinhouse jr.
That Paul Wolfe wreck video is rare. I watched it live on TV. Rockingham has had some pretty bad wrecks for being such a small track.
Yes it did! Very steep banking
Was that the same guy who was Brad’s crew chief?
Hey, remember when Paul Wolf was a driver? Neither do I.
Evan Nekula I do!
Paul Woof....
2:00 DW: Oh for Pete sake’s brother
Warhawk Plane95 Sounds like DW has seen his brother drive like a madman in a normal car 😂
We all knew mcdowell’s crash would be somewhere on here
It's almost like it was the thumbnail
Should’ve been the first one shown.
After seeing Christian Elder’s crash here, I went and googled his name as I never really heard of him. It turns out this qualifying crash ended his short racing career.
On an even worse note, I also learned that he died in 2007 at the age of 38. It was from a Meth Overdose. RIP.
Oh wow, didn’t know that. I think he ended up suffering some pretty severe injuries that red in lifelong pain. Much like Eric McClure.
6:20 I love how perfectly timed that "pow" was, also I think McDowell's crash looks really bad because he hits the wall at around 186MPH but it was far from a dead stop, had that been a dead stop he would've died but the car turned and the rear slammed into the wall and started rolling so the energy was able to dissipate well enough that he was able to walk away
I was watching the Michael McDowell crash live and couldn't believe he wasn't gravely injured or dead, much less that he walked away with only bumps and bruises. That was an ugly crash.
Jesus Christ the first car in the clip crashed at Charlotte EXACTLY in the place Alexander died
Proves how important Hans device is...
That Blaise Alexander crash was pretty damn cool
Ocea Pliler ....☹️
Mike: POW
Larry: that was a hard lick
We never saw the terrible crash of Ernie Irvan at Michigan in 1994.
Video title should be: Internal organs get a surprise game of pinball
This channel has grown so much!
Paul Wolfe was a driver before becoming a crew chief? I never knew that
Apparently he only ran 16 races over 3 years in the Busch series (now known as the Xfinity series)
Me neither mate
That Countrycrock #6 car is gorgeous. Appreciate the videos btw 🙏🏽
Thanks for reminding me Robert Richardson Jr existed
Oh for Pete's sake brother
😂😂😂
Hope you're having as we say, "one of the good days". My dad raced dirt tracks at Barberville and Deland most of his adult life.
Can you do a video of flips on non superpeedway tracks?
No
McDowell's crash always and forever will amaze me
A few crashes I've never even seen before and here I thought I saw them all.
SPEED CHANNEL THE RETURN?
7 complete flips on the last one, AND HE GOT OUT UNDER HIS OWN POWER! speaks to how strong those safety cages are!
That McDowell crash was a real Ricky Bobby.
Btw congrats KKB for the 2019 win! KICK ASS IN 2020
Von Paraz do you think this is actually Kyle Busch?
@@dhogs didn't think about that... Just giving out kudos...
I don't miss concrete walls for anything.
You should make nascar rewind like UA-cam rewind except it's nascar
Not even gonna lie you can't have a Qualifying crash compilation without Michael Mcdowell's crash
That first wreck is fatal without the safer barrier, look up Tony Roper.
“Sometimes the greatest enemy is yourself”
Crazy drivers!
“What we call calamity corner...”
We call it that because many calamities happen in that corner.
Oh really...? Ya don’t say..??
my personal worst top wreck is m waltrip's hit at bristol. mcdowell is a very close 2nd. wow.
“ Oh for petes sake brother. “ - D.W
Hard hits
THE NONEXISTENT CAR SPUN ME!!!
Ahh the days of JR in NASCAR...
Watching these wrecks at Charlotte makes me think....wow how did we get away for so many years that no one went down pit road wrecking? Other tracks some hit the wall (Bristol) or almost hit the wall (Dover). And just how wild and out of control it is to be fast at Charlotte for some of them...we got luck y'all...good heads up driving by Chase to keep from spinning down into pit lane.
Jim Ross of Wrestling fame
Jesse iwujis crash was a nasty one, straight down pit road at about 130
Ouch
Oof the bean car crashed. Thank god he had a ton of baked beans to soften the impact
#55 at 2min, he was off line coming out of the previous corner. Tried to sort it and got bit, that must hurt.
uhh kasey
2:00 Oh for Pete's sake brother.
At 5:35 he almost flips and the announcers barely care
9:42 That's when I knew the COT was the right call, regardless of how good or bad the racing was. He's not walking away in a Gen 4 car, even with the safer barrier.
4:20 is that where jimmies wheel came off?
Back when the cars were hard to drive.
Adam R. Wyss and crumpled like tin foil.
Why don't some tracks have a wall between the pit road and the inside of the trioval/quadoval? That's a tragedy waiting to happen.
i like the ''uhhh'' at 4:20
Never knew paul Wolfe was a driver. Gg
9:40 Woowwww
I wonder how it feels to say “yea. I pretty much hold the record for hardest qualifying wreck in nascar” 😂
1:00 wow he doesn’t care he is just like idc boom. Done
I hate to see when the small, sponsorless teams crash a car during qualifying
How about elliott sadler at michigan
Never understood why Pocono moved those newer walls so close to the track. It's a bigger and faster track, you need more runoff space between the wall and apron.
The timestamps said Michael waltrip was Mike skinner 😂
5:29 is that current Penske crew chief Paul Wolfe?
I dont understand whats going on? Where are the other cars? Did they all crash and they just hand to finish the race?
they was Qualifying
5:29 is that Brad keselowski old crew chief?
Yes
01. 0:00 Chase Miller- Charolette
02. 0:53 Mike Skinner- Pocono
03. 1:44 Michael Waltrip-

13. 8:46 Joe Nemechek- Atlanta
14. 9:37 Michael McDowell- Texas*
Waltrips happened at Charlotte
And Jesse iwuji's happened at Las Vegas
@@FireboltPrime Thanks for filling those in. 🙂💛
The Jarrett wreck looks like Bristol.
Michael Waltrip - Charlotte
Dale Jarrett - Bristol
Jesse iwuji - Las Vegas
Christian Elder - Michigan (I think)
@@torpedozi1173 thanks. May your post remain the highlighted one.
Michael Waltrip has many, many, videos of his crashes, just sayin'
2:23 OH FOR PETES SAKE BROTHER
who else looked through the video to find McDowell's crash?
Greatest hardest qualify hits in NASCAR history Joe Nemechek crash number 87 Burger King Chevrolet Monte Carlo time trial qualify at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton Georgia 1996 Purolator 500 spectacular crash
thanks rainman, good work
thredzzzz old school NASCAR from 1970 through 1993 era
Is there such a thing as a soft lick?
Corrections: In The Chapters, Where It Says Mike Skinner, It’s Actually Michael Waltrip, Who Drives The #15 And #55
The One Who Drives The #12 In The Chapter Darrel Waltrip, It’s Actually David Stereme
And On The One Where It Says Christan Eckes, You Were Close, But It Is Christan Elder
And, The Chapter That Says Kyle Busch, It Is Actually Jimmie Johnson That Drives The #48 2002 - 2020
And Final, The Chapter That Says Dillon Lupton, Close, But It’s Dylan Lupton,
Thank You.
Edit: Also You Forgot The Chapter That Should Say *Dale Jarret* When Jarret Crashed

My Nice Highlights Not much how bout you?
The sky
KKB not much either
Hard d*(ks and air planes
Go Kyle busch
Let's be honest Michael Waltrip was a horrible driver
Dale Earnhardt knew he was a good driver but your only as good as ur equipment
ealry ig
3:03 dang that’s qualifying? That looks more like practice :/
They should have parachutes on Nascar's.
@Midnight Trumptrain if they did that is may be dangerous for the cars behind the car that is wrecking.
@@take4392
I'm so fill of shit. That is an outlandish idea. I was trolling
@@johncholmes643 Well, at least you got a bite. Not an entirely bad day of fishing.
McDowell wins this one hands down.
Why the hell do they say "lick"?
None in 2020 lol
If you can’t drive on an empty track, how do you do it with other drivers racing you? Rookies...
F1 fans when car crashes: OOOOHHHH, tha's not good, I hope he's ok.

What about Dale Earhart Sr???????
Doggieluv 916 what qualifying session are you referring to
@@funnyfarmband4410 Not the qualifying round I was talking about the the crash with Sterling Marlin.
Doggieluv 916 this is a video of qualifying wrecks
First
Justin Moore nobody cares
Watching a Dodge crash, is almost as satisfying as watching Brad Keselowski crash....
I want to see Bubba Smollett.
Best part of NASCAR nowadays is watching the toyotas wreck. Bring Mopar, Pontiac and Buick back and get the imports off the field.
Some of these aren't even hard hits...
Tigers9596 it may seem like it wasn’t a hard hit, but they really are.
Some may not be hard "looking" hits, but if you're the one in any of these racecars, you'd likely change your mind - and your undies.
klar u. deswegen müsst ihr jeden unfall 5 mal zeigen ... schwachsinn
