Shiva when performing Tandava is called Nataraja. "Nata" means Dance, and "Raja" means Lord. Thus, Shiva is "Lord of the Dance." I can see why he holds that title, because this music goes so hard!

Back in middle school class, I once learned about hindu gods and I thought to myself how terrifying it'd be if we ever have to stand face to face with them. Well it's a lot groovier than I thought it would, but still very intimidating.
I remember getting to Shiva the first time hearing that beginning. I thought "ok this sounds very ominous, kinda sad music" then he cast Tandava right at that beat drop and I said "ok now it's a fucking fight"
I love it when Tandava is casted at that beat drop. Really feels like the beginning is strategizing. And when its finally his turn. Shiva cranks up the banger by casting Tandava

Still mad about this game to be honest. Story was extremely poor, even for SMT standards. Gameplay was okay, then again you use said formula for over 2 decades now so it better be what we expect. Graphics are better, music is still good. Demi Fiend being a paid DLC...well I bought it but it's still not a good business model for your customers. To be fair this is not the first game that went with “erase / banish your homies once you beat the final boss”. I can think of 5 Megaten games which did just that and most of them were in the NES and SNES era.
I think in a way that was the point of making you feel tense. The entire song feels like something you’d hear if you were foolish enough to try to combat a being of destruction such as Shiva.
