On some of the sea rays and twin engine boats, they have a sync feature which matches engine rpm automatically, might as Holley if there is a way to do that with the systems you have. At higher rpm’s, sync will stop vibrations.
    Also helps the prop speeds.

If I'm not mistaken , big boats rely on torque just like a big truck not HORSEPOWER. If you can get 23mph on that yacht, I think it's good enough. The seam between block and pan should not have oil...the engine is tilted in a boat. You need a very deep pan, deep oil pickup, and run only enough oil so that the pan gasket is not used to retain liquid oil. So like a ten quart pan with 8.5 quarts. Get the oil off the gasket.

if the water is choppy like this, its probably wind and tide going against eachother. wait untill the current goes the same way as the wind and the waves will be longer and less 'pointy'. way smoother ride. (barge captain here, with high winds we always wait for that moment)

Nice work guys. I'd probably consider looking into a higher volume sea water pump for your engine cooling there. That's a lot of steam and typically an indication of low water flow, and you're not even into the high power range or higher RPMs yet. It might be enough capacity of sea water to keep the heat exchanger and coolant for the engine's happy. But I don't think it's enough sea water for the exhaust system based on the video. Also, on a typical marine engine, the sea water pump is driven by the engine, and will put out a variable amount of water flow based on the RPMs.

@@jerrywilcox9890 lol you are incorrect. the white heat exchanger on the front of the engines has coolant and sea water in it. The two different fluids are separated by the tube and shell design of the heat exchanger. The sea water is used to cool the coolant circulating in the engines. After the sea water comes out of the heat exchanger, it will go to the exhaust elbow to be mixed with the exhaust gas and then out the back of the boat.

    • @Jasta315

WJs correct. seawater cools the engine first then injected into the exhaust. Steam out of the exhaust at that load (assuming the engines/props are sized to attain max rated rpm), is way too much - more seawater required.
