I do this routine 2-3 times a week, along with some other forms of cardio during the week, in addition to my weight training.

Jaclyn Wood glad to hear , I’m not alone. But damn you are in great shape. I can’t barely get through 1 mile. But than again I haven’t been active in years. I’m young and I know this will definitely defeat any type of laziness. It’s just I feel lots of pressure on my thighs and legs. I guess that is expected. I’ll keep at it 💪🏻. You look great girl!

Jaclyn Wood I live in an apartment that has 10 floors. And I just went up and down 6 times. I felt like my legs were gonna die. Honestly.

I just got a stair stepper and it works your butt way better than just going up and down the stairs. You get to focus more on your muscles getting worked when you are stationary and working hard. I love it.

How has it been owning your own stairmaster? We just ordered one and am super excited about it.

I'm a regular user of the stairmill but just recently incorporated HIIT into my workouts. Your workout looks great but your ability to balance while going sideways is amazing! I've tried the side step workouts and have to hold on for dear life, lol.

Nice video but it's actually advanced as people will realize when they try it. I did the stairmaster for the first time and 5 minutes is actually tough for a newbie but I'm gonna stick with it and build up to this. Thanks....

This machine gave me such an intense workout today for only 5 minutes. I can do HIIT and weights, crosstrainer etc no problem, but this for 5 minutes was all I could take! It was like the staircase from hell lol. But I have coordination issues and don't think I could do the sideways ones on here!

I also go to Planet Fitness and the branch I go to has a SCIFIT Recumbent Stepper. I am 61 and severe osteo arthritis in both knees. Cant stand long as no cartilage and my knee bones feel like they grind. I love this recumbent stepper and try to keep my posture straight during the fast part of a HIIT list.
The staff is really nice and try to be helpful. I am 308, down from 376. Started this machine about 1 month ago. I stay on 1 hr with a 5 min cool down and warm up.
I like hiit lists that count you down for the changes for increasing and slowing down. Would anyone have recommendations or, even better, if anyone uses this same machine are there preset workout you can choose like on the cyber arc trainer? I want to use the scifit to the best of my ability and not too proud to ask, Help?
    Thanks!🥰

That low down stair climbing just looks like lactate city. Brings back nightmares of PE wall squats and riding a bike with a low seat up a hill.

Just climbing the steps alone is beneficial. This advice can really cause bodily harm to the ankles, knees and back.
In the long run, it will slow walk you down. Please don't try crossing your steps! My orthopedic doctor would cringe at this video!!
