Oh man, I get chills every time at the end when the judge announces the winner, a tear of joy shines in the eye full of pride. It's a privilege to be a Serbian and to watch his every point, game, set, match! It is a privilege to live in the era of Novak Djokovic and feel this pride as if I was watching my brother all these years!
My idol, a great role model for me as a man personally! I have learned a lot all these years with Novak Djokovic, first of all what kind of person I should be and then that I should never bow my head before anyone, have my own attitude, opinion, character and stick to my moral values! and the most important thing is not to allow anyone to control my head, body and decisions, not to allow anyone to control my life and not even to allow the most powerful people in the world to shear me like a sheep, Novak taught me to be a lion in the flock of sheep that surround me !

The key is to get his self belief back - that's the magic potion that he has lacked in recent matches and brings all elements of his game together. "All he has to do" is be knocking on the door and be ready to walk thru it when his main rivals either tighten up or can't maintain their top level. Hope he can make it 🎾🏆🐐

With 46 winners but one more unforced error than his opponent, Djoko today was almost calm for the rest of the competition.

Slowly but surely novak’s figuring it out. From here it gets tough but if it’s anyone who can step up to the occasion is Djokovic.

To be fair, Novak has played a few amazing sets this year. He proved he still had it in him - just been inconsistent / undriven. He had a few like this in the smaller tournaments in 2023 also. People's doubts and the haters always disappear when he starts slamming the slams though.

@@MMAJOEY69 you took the words out of my mouth, just a movement now as the rest wakes up like for instance his forehand which worked perfectly today unlike in previous matches in the clay season.
It’s typical for Djokovic to start out slow at slams and then get better after each round. Djokovic is back now though, he will defend the title.
Undoubtedly maintaining his steadiness as of the last season in Roland Garros. Djokovic still keeps delivering a robust and tenacious performance with his experience and prowess although he confronted with some declines within this season. It betokens the proficiency and mastery of Serbian tennis competitor. With his advancing age, he remains at the pinnacle with his previous successes.

Still improving, but definitely better than the Herbert match. I don’t know what’s going on with him, it’s hard to describe him. There are moments of brilliance where he’s dialed in (like the third set and the tiebreaker of the second for the Herbert match, or his meeting with Hanfmann in Geneva), but a lot of these first two rounds and the tournaments before show him winning with not exactly labored movements, but…I don’t know, everything just seems kind of half hearted, or maybe lackluster is the word? I’m not sure, but it’s not the typical, effortless, dominating performance we normally expect from him. Not yet. But this was definitely better.
Novak wasn't training much this year , he is getting into shape again .
He's been playing tennis for his entire life. And the Big 3 + 1 are gone. Lack of motivation. These new kids aren't really Rafa and Roger.

I haven't followed him when the Big 3 + 1 fell apart.
I think Nole did lose a lot of motivation now that he's essentially alone. He raises his level when needed for the big events and these new kids sometimes just get lucky.
Gold medal on Olympics and 525 weeks (10 years total) at No 1 is the only thing I'm hoping he achieves. Maybe a true golden slam, but that one is tough.
