Glad you like the van! I will definitely add a van tour video to my list. I appreciate the suggestion! Let me know what else you would like to see. Thanks for watching!
No subs, with only keys and vocal and limited setup time, I felt it was best to leave them out. The higher trim heights helps me throw sound farther and cover the audience more evenly. It also takes advantage of the speaker's vertical dispersion pattern (I think 60 degrees on these speakers) which makes being up close more comfortable from an SPL standpoint. At "just above head height" you're blasting the front row and not covering the middle and rear of the audience as much as possible with two speakers. As a bonus, height can reduce the likelihood of feedback from the "stage". Thanks for watching the video!
The officiant had a DPA headset mic connected to a body pack (if i can convince the pastor to not wear a lav mic I'm a happy man!) and there was one wireless microphone for a scripture reading where the bridesmaids were.
Solid setup
Thanks!
can we get a Tour of your Van? looks awsome!

Great setup! No need for subs? Also, the speakers seem scaringly high, 😄😅 what is the purpose for this compared to “just above head height”?

How did you deploy mic(s) for the actual ceremony? I'm always curious as to that aspect. One shared handheld? Body packs with lav?

@@SilverCreekAudio How did you mic - or not mic - or not mic the bride and groom?
