1.Beach + boogie boarding , 2.Boardwalk, 3.Nostalgy, I have been visiting Wildwood since 1975 more than 40 times. This year, I'll miss Joe Duncan, the retired Fudgy Wudgy man after knowing him for 48 years, he was entertaining and was screaming the loudest. Can't wait to go back again this summer. I just hope Wildwood will be affordable in the future, Motels are converting to Condos and price are very expensive.

Good man , i was there in 86 age 25 , from ireland working on student visa, the visitor numbers were bad that season and it still looks sparse , wonder why , im 63 now

My parents and I would go here every year when I was a kid. We'd hit the boardwalk every night and I remember riding back half asleep on the tram car. Thousands of great memories that make my eyes well up. Wish I had a family of my own to bring here but I guess it just wasnt meant to be. On a happier note, if you're coming here for your vacation don't waste it or take any of it for granted! Stay in the moment!

I may be coming here during Labor Day weekend mainly for the Adventure Pier. I want Skyscraper and Great White to be open when I come, as they should be.

At 22:42, what that person did by jumping onto the Tramcar while it was moving is very dangerous. It happens a lot. I work for the tramcar and this happens all the time during the season. We don’t like that people do this, because someday someone will get injured.

Visit June 17 - 20th 2024 to watch the 101st National Marbles Tournament. Around 22 minutes you will see the blue rings just over the railing. 100s of girls and boys across the nation will descend to see who the new King and Queen of marbles will be! #NationalMarblesTournament
Was there 86 as student to work , loved it , happy place is right but looking at this vid there doesn't seem to be many visitors, same in 86 not many ,, wonder why , it was booming in the 60s

Wow RIP old boardwalk where the mall had vinyls, sports stores, hot sauces and seashells. There was a haunted castle behind the knots shop where it’s now a water park. Castle was “burned down” wish when I was little I wasn’t afraid of it… and a less commercial feel. Going at the end of the summer and was down there in May and it’s become kinda sad to what I would say is their core crowd.
I agree! I like that Disney has a lot to do, but it’s too much to cram into a week vacation. Not to mention NJ doesn’t usually get nearly as hot in the summer, and it’s a lot less expensive than Disney!

@LuisRomero. You can just look up Wildwood Boardwalk to get you there. It is a long boardwalk and there is ample parking. If you are looking for a specific address to get the boardwalk, maybe use the Wildwoods Convention Center.

Douglas fudge is really good, but the boat tag game was the reason I love wildwood, but I’m sad to see it’s gone.
