Awesome video! We have been going every summer and will be there in a few weeks! You got some great shots and vids too! New subscriber here! Keep up the great work!
My family went to wildwood every summer for 20 years. This video brought back so many great family memories. Not much on the boardwalk has changed. Our beach house was on 23rd street in North Wildwood. We were a block off the boardwalk. The first place I would hit when we got there was Sam's Pizza. It was right there at 23rd and the walk. A pepperoni slice and a birch beer. It's been at least 30 years since I've been there. I'm so glad I found your video. Might just have to take a road trip for a long weekend. Thank for posting
You must go back!!!! It is definitely one of my favorite boardwalks on the East coast and I think I have been to about 10 of them this year. Now I'm hungry for pizza.... LOL. Thanks for commenting and please subscribe and have a great week.
Thanks for the Sams location. We stayed at 20th & the board wake at the Beach Cove & Beach Court hotels. Kinda of remember that Sams had two.locations before they moved into the big place at 26 th Street. Sams owner and the shorts pizza maker both died last year.Joey C on his Uribe site raid that Sams will be open on weekends starting in February2023. Never get tied if hearing " Watch the tram car please ".
If you go back in sure you'll see lots has changed. Hunt's peir is gone, the castle is gone, burned down in '02. Most of the Doo Wop hotels and motels are gone to. It's been sad to see all that go but Wildwood is still a great place. I still get down there every year for at least a day.
The Ghost ship is a walk through attraction. The cars you saw on the elevated track is called The Flying Galeon. It's a small kind of skyride that takes you over the Waterpark. It's fairly unrelated to the ghost ship other than the ship was built over the entrance to it. Wildwood seaguls are famous for their veracity. Though there are many like it, the Sea Serpent was the first Vacoma boomarang built in 1984. A year later they added the Giant Wheel, which stands 156 feet above the beach and boardwalk. 2 rides are a must, one in the daytime and one at night. I've been to Wildwood every year for 46 years. It's my happy place. Thanks for the video.
Enjoyed your video on the Wildwood Boardwalk! We're heading down on June 27th for a few days. I've been going to Wildwood since the 1960s. My first visit was with my oldest brother when I was 15 years old... Wildwood Days!
The 5 original wildwood Tram cards were brought to Wildwood from the New York 1939 world fair. Greyhound had a transportation contract for the fair and called them the Greyhound trackless trains. They've been on service on the Wildwood boardwalk since 1949.
Thanks for the video.. Have been going to Wildwood since before I was able to walk, and Im 50 now. I will have to say Im a MACKS PIZZA lover.. And Curleys Fries. I truely miss all the old Piers .. Like HUNTS PIER.. Sportland Pier.. Midway Pier.. And Roof Top Golf beside the Shore Plaza...
Wow I thought the seagulls got better from the last time! I remember it was traumatizing as a kid when I saw a woman get swarmed by seagulls with her funnel cake. I miss Wildwood so much, I went every year as a child. The boardwalk, rides, arcades. Thanks for sharing!!
Somebody told me that Girlies French fries is not allowed to have the overhead fishing lines strung guess every 6" to keep petty seagulls away. String might harm them. Good for the pain in the ass pest.
Allll thank you so much for watching. I hope i made you smile. Stay tuned for more fun stuff. Please subscribe and thanks for commenting. Wildwood is very special to me also..😎😎⛱⛱👍👍
You wil have a blast. So much to do in wildwood. Thanks for commenting and please subscribe. If you have time and looking for something more to do drive to Cape May diamond beach or Washington street mall if like shopping. Like 15 minute drive. Have a couple videos on Cape May to get you more excited.. lol😎😎⛱⛱👍👍
Excellent video. Loved your enthusiasm throughout, it's exactly how I feel when I'm down in WW. Great filming as well. It's daunting, but I'd love to see you film the various motels at night.
My family goes down every year (only year of my life I haven’t gone down was 2020, for obvious reasons), and we have a tradition of always eating dinner at that particular Hot Spot the first night of our vacation. There are 2 or 3 Hot Spots on the boardwalk, but it always has to be that one for us :)
We were just there for a whole week and just love it there go every summer can't wait till next summer and yes franconnies pizza is delightful thanks for sharing I can't get enough of wildwood ❤
Im with you on franconnies. Glad you had a great time. Wildwood is a great place to visit for sure. . Thanks for watching and subscribing to the channel. 👍👍😎😎⛱⛱♥️♥️
Thank you so much. I use the dji osmo action great camera and cheaper than the gopros. I have links to all my equipment in the description in case anyone interested. Thanks for commenting and please subscribe.. 👍👍⛱⛱😎😎♥️♥️
I remember one time my father was grilling hot dogs on the grill at the Athens II motel in North Wildwood, and a sea gull flew over and took a hot dog off of the grill.
Great video as always! I agree, there's just something about the boardwalk at night. I wanted to ask... I know there's a ton of food options, but what are your top picks for best pizza, ice cream, candy, sandwiches, or other meals?
Thank you so much. If just talking wildwood. Quincys for lobster rolls are amazing. Gyros at hot spot are best i ever had. Chickies and Pete's has the best fries. Kono is still the best pizza i had in wildwood. Did i miss anything?? Lol
@@AlongForTheJourney definitely next time. The line was crazy and we were only there a couple nights. Peace pies we did walk by. I regret not going in retrospect.
My friend swears by the starlux. He said ask for room 411 has balcony but never stayed there. I have done Airbnb many times there and never fails me. Thanks for watching and subscribing. 👍👍⛱⛱😎😎
I enjoy your videos. Other than myrtle beach and va beach I mainly only go to ocean city md. I’m md born and it’s always been the place to go. BUT I’ve wanted to go to nj since I watched the Jersey shore(please no hate lol) and for a first timer where would you recommend (wildwood, ocean city nj or seaside heights??) I will say when I go to the beach I go with my hubby and 3 teenagers
Thank you so much for watching the channel Alison. I'll be heading to Myrtle and Va beach soon so if you have any recommendations let me know... Wildwood is amazing. Especially for rides that your kids may want. Oc nj Is more laid back but i just thought it was fantastic. Its a dry town which i like. Heading to seaside heights hopefully next weekend so stay tuned for that... Wildwood is my pick for most things to do. Make sure you watch both my wildwood videos. Will give you great ideas. Thanks for subscribing. 😁😁⛱⛱👍👍♥️♥️
I forgot to mention Cape may is beautiful and only a short drive to go visit for the day If staying in wildwood. My kids are older teenagers and they loved Cape May for the beauty.👍👍
Nice video I show content from NYC right here on my channel if you’d like to connect with me that would be great I plan on going there sometime this summer and I wanted to ask you how’s the phone reception out there ?
The golden days are long gone. Hunts Pier had the greatest concentration of amusements on the whole boardwalk. The Morey moron monopoly ruined the vibe beyond repair. If you must go, stay away from Pacific Ave. Its a war zone. But watch your back regardless.
@Grammasjewels Born and raised there. Moved away before the decline. I go back to see family and friends. Trust me, its taken a seriously bad turn. WalMart moving in didnt help. And the quaint little motels took a hit after 9/11, and resorted to housing Section 8 just to keep the cash flowing. All visitors see is the boardwalk and beaches, and thats all the city council cates about.
Awesome video! We have been going every summer and will be there in a few weeks! You got some great shots and vids too! New subscriber here! Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much fot3 tuning in and have a great safe trip. 👍👍😎😎⛱⛱

I miss Harry's Corner( Its was where Wallys is now). Best Gyros on the Boardwalk
Hi! I love this video. I am finding a hard time finding a nice hotel around the area. Am I missing something? Where do people stay?

Better than some of the beaches in FL
Oh yeah... I haven't really found a good beach in Florida. Except Sombrero beach that I did a video on.
When was this video taken in Wildwood new jersey and what is it like now out there
That was 1 month ago. It was amazing trip one of my favorite boardwalks . Heading to another different boardwalk today. Stay tuned. 😎😎⛱⛱👍👍

I will definitely check your channel out. Wifi was always good in Jersey when i was there.
Why arent there many people there? Place unfortunately seems unable to attract the tourists anymore , why ?
I shoot my videos early in morning. Watch my other wildwood video its packed. This place is busy all summer it is a number one bosrdwalk in jersey.
The golden days are long gone. Hunts Pier had the greatest concentration of amusements on the whole boardwalk. The Morey moron monopoly ruined the vibe beyond repair. If you must go, stay away from Pacific Ave. Its a war zone. But watch your back regardless.
