Ive been a fan for years, recently decided i want to do an ironman, but i dont know how to swim. So Ive been spending as much time in the pool as possible, watching your content helps so much !!!
You have inspired me so much in my ultra endurance journey, I'm taking on my own biggest challenge this year of swimming 21 miles in a pool, riding 980 miles, lands end to John 'O' Groats and then running 120 miles coast to coast! I've trained there for a week, it was amazing. I don't think there's a better pool in the world. It's the perfect place to smash calories, caffeine and kilometres!
After worlds longest swim, you should do worlds longest bare foot run. So much science behind that natural human body test, and even more behind your physical transition between swimming and running

@@RossEdgley Like Ed Hall a top swimmer, moved sports, he still uses it as a very important part of his functional exercise regime. Low impact and massive gains 💯
It would be really interesting if you would actually be able to consume or use more carbs than is predicted. Maybe if you would do an endoscopy or even biopsy, you could maybe see an increase in microvilli in your (small) intestine compared to "regular" humans? That could explain an increase in sugar uptake! Or your enzymatic activity is just off the charts haha

I like the idea of a pool it also limits other variables that will influence results like waves, water temp, current, salinity etc.
