Absolute legend of a human. No other words to describe him to be honest.
Always positive in the face of adversity.
❤❤❤
"Human" If it turned out that he was actually an alien I wouldnt even be surprised.
Just wanted to say the BIGGEST thank you to the Gymshark team! Absolute HEROICS from them to produce this!!
We leave the heroics to you.
Just glad we could tell the story.
Hi Ross, I play cricket, can you help me out with a gym workout plan?
Can't wait for part 2!! Go Ross and Gymshark!!!
Good decision to stop where you did. I was in Albania at this time & heat was unreal. Look forward to watching your next challenge 👏🏼💪🏼
I’m 100% convinced the end sequence about the myth of Sisyphus will have a great impact on a lot of people who are struggling in life and see it.
Things like these are much more than just a documentary. It’s a life saver 🙏🏻
Gymshark is lucky to have Ross. What an amazing athlete. You can't help but respect for what he's done and is continuing to do.
Aww MASSIVELY appreciate this ❤ 🙏 ❤
@@RossEdgley means the world you responded to me. I've looked up to you for almost a decade now, haha. Thank you for that!
Beautiful production! Kudos to all involved! I LOVED the ending of this clip Ross!
Massively appreciate this brother and yes, LOVE that Camus quote/story 👊💯
Ross is a freaking beast! I love the last bit about that the struggle. Thank you Ross!!
HOOGLEY appreciate this brother.... also yes, LOVE that Camus quote, so glad you like it👊
We really need a Rossumentary in this style of videography. Going back to the very beginning. The Worlds Fittest book feats all summed up with interviews and footage.
And another tour!!! 👌🏻
Mark you LEGEND! Huge thank you brother!!
Ready when he is.
What Ross said at the end of the video were some of the best motivational words I’ve heard recently! This man was born to struggle, and he learned how to enjoy it. Amazing!
Speechless. What an incredible video
Big up Jacob!
What an insane production! And Ross, although I have heard his name and record attempts many times it's the first time hearing him speak. What an inspiring and likeable bloke!
❤❤❤
Absolute inspiration what a bloke!
❤❤❤
I'm having trouble understanding why would anyone put their selves through this. I mean he is not a legend, he is not a hero, he is just a simple man who has a dumb idea that he could do this. I mean its like, if he had an idea to stick a fork in an electrical socket he will, a dumb idea but its an idea he could do. I mean this is what he wants to be remembered for and that's cool. But in reality, when all said and done, no one will care and most people will move on to more cat videos. would he do this again? would he want to do this again? It's cool what he is doing cause it makes for a good UA-cam video, but again its just something "he" would do. Good job on surviving through this.
This is amazing but so confused on the storyline?? What happened in Loch Ness? What was the record?
The whole imagery, editing, sound etc. was so well produced and cutaways to different people giving their perspective views were great. But very little context? Can someone explain?
Finally! Someone that agrees - what the hell are they talking about for the first how long? Infuriating watch
This was a MOVIE!!
❤❤❤
It's all about the process. Such an inspiration 💪🏻
And the process continues…
Everything this man commits himself too is truly amazing... keep it up ross
❤❤❤
Absolute pure Ross LegendEdgley
Jamie you MASSIVE man legend!!
He’s going to have to change his name.
Watching this made me think of Maarten van der Weijden (Olympic gold marathon swimmer in 2008) who swam the 11stedentocht (eleven city swim), that’s around 195km. First time he didn’t succeed but the second time he did in little over 72 hours, and did a triathlon version of it a few year later, both to collect money for cancer research.
It’s amazing how much some can do when having a goal and wanting to achieve it. Conditions from Ross and Maarten were completely different, but both are nuts if you ask me. Most people probably thought neither would make it, but impossible isn’t in some peoples dictionaries 😅.
"Boiled alive" > swim in a 33° water
I would not like to eat your pasta
Ross gets nowhere near the recognition he deserves.
Absolute savage, scholar, athlete and truly stand-up guy with impeccable character. Given the lack of strong male role models today the fact that he isn't as widely known/celebrated as the likes of Goggins, Jocko etc is criminal. I look forward to the day when he makes the global impact he's more than capable of making.
Aww ❤brother hugely appreciate this! Do love the small tribe of like minded Brobarians we’ve created though 💪🏽
I couldn’t have put this better myself.
In ancient times, warriors were expected to be scholars too.
I’ve never met you, but you brought a smile to my face and inspiration to my heart.
Well done mate!
So so so inspiring. What’s that music at the end? It’s gorgeous
❤❤❤
Fantastic film. Incredible.
Every video where he does this kind of stuff, motivates 1000s to push themselves and be better version of themselves. And do all of that with a smile and humbleness. Amazing human. 🫡
great Direction and great athlete. Bravo from France
Such an inspiration!
Few people are peak level human beings, physically. Ross is one of the closest.
What a machine.
❤❤❤
"Oden wouldn’t be oden if it wasn’t boiled" - kozuki oden 😩
Incredible
❤
Great job 👏 👍 👌
british people when they say its hot outside.. 85 degrees.. but have never been anywhere that is 115 degrees
They didn’t mention the near fatal levels of muscle degradation 😂 more info on Ross’s blood work after Italy please!!!!
Absolutely amazing
biggest IRL gigachad
There’s no success like failure and failures no success at all
Why Ross... WHY??!😮
Incredible!
buetiful
but like, what for in the first place
wait are we saying this giant body of water is 14 degrees warmer than a hot tub?
Oh sorry that’s air temp. Water was 34 ❤ 😊
Good things come to those who sweat.
Why?????
you are not a fish sir.
😂
Why abuse yourself? Commenter said. No pain no gain. Sacrifice for career success, weight loss, help aging parent, healthy eating, take medicine and have side effect and not want to take it. Homelessness awaits too if not follow rule and stay quiet. No way out but to lose. Truly born to lose. Trapped. Happiness is a choice. Winning at life. Choose kindness. Selflessness is good. Help the needy. Less fortunate. Inferiority is real. Mental illness is real.
i shower in 50C all the time
Women take showers hotter than that and still feel cold
Where do you get your drive? Where do you go in the darkest times? Your ability to push on is ridiculous
Praise the LORD for creating water.
The most British analogy. “Swimming in a big cup of tea”
😂❤
48 was the air temperature, and 33 the water temperature...like ross said on social media
❤❤
This dont diminish the risk and effort of his attempt
yeah, i was thinking it's impossible it'd be anywhere near 40.
so how is that boiled alive??.....water boils at 100c not 48 or 33 lmfao....
@Shifty51991 figure of speech genius
It’s the struggle that will fill a man’s heart what a quote 😮
Aww I know ❤ love that quote
The entire book is a brilliant read
It's stated at the beginning that taking such extreme challenges makes you a worse friend and family member, which makes me ask, why even do it? What's the point of risking one's life at the cost of relationships or orphaning children just to beat some challenge that brings absolutely no benefit to humanity or the closest family? I really hope that someone can explain it to me in the comments, because I've been asking myself these questions every time I learned some daredevil died trying some extreme challenge and the only answer that was coming to my mind was just their selfishness. One could say it's to inspire others, but is that really the primary motivation of those daredevils or is it just adrenaline addiction or a type of workaholism?
Well it goes back to what he says at the end of the video “the struggle alone is enough to fills a man’s heart
If ever one was made to value the same things nothing new would ever come to be
If you look at most genuines in history most of them were loners
Because they were in love with there work
If a person like him finds happiness in what he does then who are we to tell him not to be happy. And there for it makes you selfish for wanting to take away someone else’s happiness.
Absolute cinematic masterpiece, Ross you are incredible!! And a role model for us all ❤
❤❤ HUGELY appreciate this brother!!
Nah, takes way too long to get to the point. Editors spent way too long circle jerking and forgot to actually tell the story.
I’ve been in 44 degrees Celsius for about 5 minutes and I nearly passed out after getting out, 48 is crazy
❤❤
Agreed, 44 was really hot but bearable another 4 on that though is a different story hahaha hot stuff!
That's air temp
Water was 33, 44 is air temp
@@gabriellevesque2185 what 44 in a hot tub is air temp?
Ross, the most inspirational athlete.
Thank you, Ross.
Incredibly insprirational. Ross is an absolute warrior. Looking forward to seeing the next instalment or attempt, no doubt soon!
👏👏
A warrior goes to war.
CODA Filmworks killin these productions!
"We must dare to be great; and we must realize that greatness is the fruit of toil and sacrifice and high courage" - no-one embodies this more than Ross, thank you for daring
love this!! huge thank you brother!!
I don’t get it, I see nothing about the title. Dumb clickbait.
Ross the human Labrador, everything done with a smile. Amazingly inspiring and love to see his brave, heroic adventures ❤
More brave, heroic adventures to come
Beautiful story. The irony of going from hypothermic temps to a freak heatwave is mad!! But the story is in the struggle and Ross' ability to keep pushing forward
Hypothermic with a wetsuit 🙄😂
“The struggle alone is enough to fill a mans heart.” 🙏
Well done to everyone who contributed on this mission, video is well tailored together! 🔥👊
Glad you enjoyed it!
❤❤❤
Lago Trasimeno too hot, Loch Ness too cold - have you ever considered Lake Balaton? Hungarian fans would be thrilled if we can support your next challenge in any sense!
I honestly think Ross is one of the greatest endurance athletes to ever live, his mindset is truly fantastic, he's our British Goggins!!! He is up there with Scott Jurek, Mark Allen etc in terms of amazing feats of endurance..... 🙏
True. He is British goggins
That's because you don't know what you're talking about and have been fooled as such. His swims are extremely average, especially the "world's longest swim" - which was both an obfuscation of the truth and a huge grift.
@@vishwaskv81 don't be silly
@@ln5747 who took the jam out of your doughnut! Miserable git
Ross is living the Goldilocks fairy tale in real life, too hot, too cold, fingers crossed your third attempt is just right!
Plot twist: he is the Daddy Bear
Hahaha you legends!!@@gymshark
aww we're hoping so, have some epic ideas for no.3 🙂 hugely appreciate the support brother!

Ross you are insane. That last shot of you laying in the boat looks like you were being boiled alive
❤❤❤
The look 'Behind the Scenes or Seams' for this is insane. Followed Ross for a while now and he's just an incredible human.
I came for the clickbait and stayed for this journey
Rhino neck your an inspiration. Big fan , Dave from Ireland.
Go raibh maith agat!
Bro... water in 33 degrees. Above 48° was the click bait

-Albert Carmen
Ross you are an absolute LEGEND!
aww so glad you like that quote... i love it, just resonates with me so much ❤
Did you mean Albert Camus?
Was this registered as the longest swim in hot water? I hope they did register it.
why the f would you do that? risk the end or at least complications in friendships/relatonships and health just to boost your ego and play hero in a few minutes youtube video??
True legend ❤💪🏻 But I must say it again, great job Gymshark! 🦈👏🏻 I had goosebumps the whole time I was watching the video ❤️
Thank you Kate! We had to do the great man justice
Give someone a promocode when he reps an amount of weight

Can somebody tell me the cycle Ross is on please, I need it, seriously
Ross is Great Britain's David Goggins. The power to injure is a way of life for Ross and an inspiration to us mortals.👊💯
Good stuff really enjoyed. You’re inspiring Ross!

Just Wow! Great cinematography, great subject. Motivational, endearing, inspiring, relatable, fear, pain, happiness, sadness, nervousness, anxiety, tranquility and curiousity. @gymshark that was incredible. Great production well done 👏 Ross is unique, I've read all his books he's different his mindset is different level.
HEY @gymshark I need yo know all the music from this film please 🙏
@@marksmoneymaker1 all produced just for this 👍
Why?
Sounds like you need to learn the boiling point of salt water.
That's the temperature I would have my baths as a child.
Absolutely incredible!
Just wanted to say this is foolish, have a nice day.
Ross - firstly you are amazing ,,,, that’s a given … but one day you will look back and say gosh what was all that about …. , don’t forget what’s in front of you ,,, I mean family, friends , the beauty of life.
