Thanks for the comment! Be very careful, if the wind is blowing it can spread really quick out of control. Congratulations on your home in Ga. I live about 35 miles West of Augusta Ga. Take care!!
Diesel works great too. It doesn't combust like gasoline. I just started burning my leaves this week for the first time in 2 years lol First layer of leave were stuck to the ground from years of not blowing them. This new batch of leaves blew away easily. Gasoline will combust from the fumes, so make sure you don't use that.
@@Watchoutforsnakez 😄 I'm also looking at this video because of my new house... in GA! my house is in Roswell and it's not open like this. any tips on how to keep smoke to a minimum?
Great video...sometimes what you think you knew, there is a still a better way...virtually smokeless fire and leaves are known to create lots of smoke. I don't get a burn permit, but plan a night to stay awake and burn late or early in the morning. This keeps Karens out of your business, as they are sleeping after living in the dizzying moral high ground.
@@knightingalesaid Thanks, but those same trees are worth a million bucks each Summer when they offer tremendous shade at our place. I guess I gotta take the good with the bad. ;-)
Just bought my first house and here I am. Learning how to burn leaves
Awesome! Congratulations!! Be careful.
I never thought I would need instruction on burning a pile of leaves. But, here I am buried in leaves at my new house in Ga.

I'm burning leaves today.. figured I would stop by
Alright! Be safe!
Thx Gary J great info
Very good n clear instructions
Thanks for the comment! Have a great day!!
I need someone like you to hold my hand. I’m so scared of fires. I watch my neighbors but I’m still scared to try
I’ll be there for you!
Now all that ash would be in the ground to grow new plants? Ashes would be great for soil.
This is fine for dryer leaves...but how about WET leaves.....especially when the monsoon season of the PNW has just set in??
I don’t know. I would cut the trees down so I wouldn’t have leaves to deal with. I have done that. Good luck friend.

I am dealing with that. I'm going to make a big wood fire in a fire pit and slowly feed the leaves into it. Or... wait until they dry out again. Lol!
@@lawaincooley6788 Ya....I'm figuring the same. Thanks.....
You may have to do burns in increments. Burn the top layer, and ounce the lower layer of leaves have dried up, pile them up and burn them as well.
Slow burn leaves
