I have battery blowers and when I cut pvc or wood with my power saw or hackzawls instead of the dust and debris coming at me, I place the blower on a fairly low setting right behind me pointed at the work (a bit higher target than the actual cut works best as the stuff kicks up so you want the breeze aimed a little higher to catch the bulk as it blows). It does not need to be right behind the work or you as the operator of the saw and can instead be off to the side and angled. Just so it is blowing away from you. The dust goes in one controlled direction. Obviously on a windy day, pick the right direction to set up your work. This is strictly an outdoor diy hack suggestion.

Yes, I do blow them onto the grass but I am also able to blow them directly into the woods which makes that area pretty easy. I wish I could do that for the whole yard 😀
you definitely have a large lot. Very nice....so how long did it take to clear those leaves? 4 hours im guessing. Also, do you do that weekly during the fall season to keep up while the leaves are falling?

If you have no bagger I have still been able to mulch this many leaves. I willl usually need to go in two directions sometimes 3 to completely obliterate then but that would be my suggestion.
Thank you, it is a nice machine. I have an upcoming video how I got it for almost free but not from the company and others can do the same.No BS but a good strategy that can work.
About 3 acres but not all lawn. I mow here until December so I am doing that anyways but then I do heavy leaf pickups 3-4 times with different trees dropping them at different times
Silver Cymbal Thanks for the info. I'm in northern Indiana maintaining about 5 acres of a heavily wooded lot (70+ oak trees). Your method is very similar to mine. I have a Simplicity ZTR w/52" mulching deck, plus I have a TracVac system. I typically mulch our property one per week beginning late October and vacuum about every third or fourth time. I'm usually done by the end of November. Thanks again for producing a great video, I really enjoyed watching it.
Watch my video in the pinned description they are not that expensive, new are 14K I bought mine used and at this point have paid nothing for it. Not for everyone but the Walker reviws tells you what I have done.
Now I can genuinely say that spending $10,000 on a hurricane leaf blower is definitely worth buying if it takes this guy a few hours using that machine it would take less time to blow those leaves into a wooded area probably a hour and a half maybe two but that investment is worth the time and money for sure
With all the work I do, gutters are one of the worst. I even clean my own septic filter and that's better than gutters so you can see how I feel about them. I wish I had a tip for you but over the years I haven't ever seen a better way to do a thorough job other than the ladder and manual cleaning.
STOCKBOY7254 I use a good handheld blower and put 2 gutter downspouts connected together with a turn down at the end Blows straight up into gutter. Works really good because the downspouts are light and not flimsy.
Use gutter guards, leaves can’t get in. A pain to put on, but your gutters never clogged. I do have to go up there every couple years to make sure everything is clean, because sometimes they’re a few that gets in there or some sand from the roof shingles.
Hi Silver, thanks for the great videos! Question, is it too late for me to drop my grass seed down in Nov? I live in Northeast too, just outside of NYC. THANK YOU!!!
@@djratino Hi DJ, thanks for the reply. I was reading up a little about dropping seed before 1st Frost and then it going into a dormant stage for winter and then sprouting in spring. Any experiece with this? Thanks.
If it's extremely heavy or wet leaves it can happen but dry you can move pretty quick. You get a feel for the top speed depending on conditions but it still moves along very fast

For someone without this mower, do you recommend mulching the leaves onto the grass? Or do you always want to be bagging?
If you have no bagger I have still been able to mulch this many leaves. I willl usually need to go in two directions sometimes 3 to completely obliterate then but that would be my suggestion.
there's a pdf online to build this type of machine with 2 lawn engines. it works like a vacuum.
Who else thought there yard was big until they seen this video...
Amazing! I want a Walker mower.
Thank you, it is a nice machine. I have an upcoming video how I got it for almost free but not from the company and others can do the same.No BS but a good strategy that can work.
I bet he loves oct/nov...always nice to just dump em at the back yard line
Can you collect wet leaves with it? While it's been or it is raining?
Just curious, approximately how many acres are you picking up leaves on and how many times do you pick up the leaves?
@@riley528i6 Thank you very much for the kind words I really appreciate it
Will there be snow plowing in the near future?
If so, curious as to how that is done
Thanks for a great video!
You will see how I handle the snow very soon. You might be a little surprised...Thanks for watching and the nice comments.
Excellent!!!
I really appreciate it.
That's a really nice machine! Jealous!
Where do you dump the leaves ? Do you bag them ? I think that is the hardest part.
Hi. Why not mulch it in to the grass ?
in just one week, my lawn was covered inch by inch with leaves, that was only 1 week ago, thats new england for you
your property is the size of a subdivision here in California. not exagerating by much
:) thats too funny. I have some neighbors here with 10+ acre lots, mine feels small compared to them.
Yes! Great way to get rid of leafs, now only if I had $20K for Walker mower
Any tips or hacks on how to clean gutters?I had to get up on a ladder 50ft in the air and use my hand all the leaves acorns mud and branches.
Herbie I seeded in October on some bare spots. It came up on the warmer wet days. In November the only thing that'll grow is winter rye & clover.
@@djratino Hi DJ, thanks for the reply. I was reading up a little about dropping seed before 1st Frost and then it going into a dormant stage for winter and then sprouting in spring. Any experiece with this? Thanks.
Very Nice!
Any clogging issues with the walker?
If it's extremely heavy or wet leaves it can happen but dry you can move pretty quick. You get a feel for the top speed depending on conditions but it still moves along very fast
